Pulang Pisau Steam Power Plant (PLTU) is one of the plants that is used to fulfill the electricity needs of the people in Central Kalimantan Province. By using coal as a source of steam production, the Pulang Pisau PLTU has a capacity of up to 2 × 60 MW. Such a large population growth cannot be avoided and it is therefore denied that the Pulang Pisau PLTU is deemed to require additional production capacity. One alternative that can be given is to increase the amount of fuel capacity, namely coal that can be accommodated. By changing the design of the existing jetty, it is expected that ships with larger capacities can lean on the Pulang Pisau power plant pond. In this study, an analysis of sediment volume rate in the existing condition jetty and two alternative jetties in the PLTU river basin area, where the modeling is done using MIKE21. The results of the existing jetty modeling show the sedimentation volume that was line up for 12 months at 9550.017 m3, while the sedimentation volume of alternative jetty 1 and 2 produced for 12 months respectively were 917.444 m3 dan 8616.040 m3. The first alternative jetty is more efficient in dealing with sediment in terms of increasing production capacity. The alternative jetty is considered to be able to maintain the determined vessel draft and not cause excessive sedimentation impacts in the Pulang Pisau power plant area.

Travel behaviour of domestic tourists concerning their choices of transportation mode has a significant role in managing traffic in the tourist destination. This study analyses the domestic tourists' choice and their pattern of needs of transportation mode in Bali as the case study. The developed models are based on utility maximisation of underlying preferences for each of the available modes of transport. Domestic tourists are randomly selected and interviewed using the questionnaire to record their daily trips. The study result indicates that income, number of visits and travel companions significantly influence the choice of transportation mode for domestic tourists. Meanwhile, income, number of visits, length of stays, trip purpose and main issues in selecting local transport mode significantly affect the pattern of needs of transportation mode for domestic tourists. For example, two accompanying persons will be three times more than that of seven persons or more to choose motorcycle and bus than a car. Domestic tourists who have visited Bali twice will be three times more than those who visited Bali once to use travel agents and rented vehicles than public and online transport and others. Further studies on short duration trips and sustainable mode of transport are suggested.

Heavy equipment investment for contractor companies is a long-term investment that can be used in various fields, such as construction projects, mining projects, and can also be leased to other parties. Before investing in heavy equipment, a feasibility study is needed to determine whether an investment is feasible or not. The feasibility study for heavy equipment investment in this research using net present value methods. The parameter assumptions in the feasibility study can change and affect the investment feasibility, so a sensitivity analysis is needed. The sensitivity analysis in this research was carried out on the parameters of fuel prices, operating costs other than fuel costs, salvage value, and working hours of heavy equipment. Based on the results of the sensitivity analysis, it is known that the parameters of fuel prices affect the feasibility of heavy equipment investment, especially in excavator and dump trucks. Both of these equipments have the shortest fuel price sensitivity range value, which is below 60%. The working hours of equipment parameters affects the feasibility of heavy equipment investment, especially excavators. If the working hours of excavator are less than 1.715 hours per year, then excavator investment is not feasible. The operational cost parameters other than fuel cost and salvage value don’t affect the investment feasibility of heavy equipment. The results of the sensitivity analysis also show that the working hours is the most influential parameters in heavy equipment investment compared to other parameters.

The aim of this research is to evaluate the implementation of a new national standard SNI 8518:2018 for chair and SNI 8519:2018 desk by the school authorities in the metropolitan area of Jakarta. Several 190 type sizes of the predetermined desk and chair dimensions from 114 primary schools were measured and evaluated according to the dimensions in the new national standard SNI 8518:2018 and SNI 8519:2018. There are 5 dimensions that were evaluated: the height, width, depth, and backrest height (for chair), and desk height. To evaluate the dimensions of the chair in SNI 8518:2018 and desk in SNI 8519:2018, each evaluated dimension was compared to identify the compatibility or incompatibility among them. Results showed that most dimensions of the chair provided by school authorities did not comply with the dimensions issued in the SNI 8518.2018 with a percentage of 93.7%. Similarly, desk height provided by school authorities also did not comply with SNI 8519.2018 with a percentage of 81.1%. This study showed that most dimensions of classroom furniture in the primary schools under study did not follow the dimensions issued in the national standard SNI 8519:2018 for desk and SNI 8518:2018 for chair.

Supporting sectors for sustainable economic development in a region can have a direct impact on GRDP and indirectly have an impact through strong backward and forward linkage to other economic sectors. Analysis of backward and forward linkages can be performed using input-output tables that describe the role of each sector in the regional economy. The abundance of coal resources in South Kalimantan Province makes the mining sector the largest contributor to GRDP. Coal is an export commodity that has a very large percentage of the total regional export value. The enormous impact on GRDP, both in terms of business fields and final demand, is not accompanied by strong linkages to other economic sectors. The existence of the mining sector is unable to stimulate production growth in the backward sector and is unable to fulfill the final demand of the forward sector. Restrictions on coal exports to fulfill domestic energy resource needs are able to make the mining sector of South Kalimantan Province a key sector to support sustainable regional economic development.

The purpose of this study was to obtain pie susu mocaf-spirulina products with local fruit varieties (pineapple and Balinese grapes). Mocaf (modified cassava flour) has characteristics similar to low protein flour and gluten free. Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that is considered a super food because of its nutritional properties that are very good for health. The research method includes 1) experimental trials of the formula for mocaf spirulina pie susu, in the variation of the addition of spirulina to the formulation of mocaf pie susu 2) conduct an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using the Visual Analog Score (VAS) for the Hedonic test (preference) 3) Perform an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using VAS for the Hedonic Quality test (quality). The results showed: 1) obtained a pastry formulation (skin) of mocaf pie susu with the addition of 2.5 gr of spirulina (0.5% of the weight of the ingredients) ained mocaf pie susu formulation with the addition of 2.5gr spirulina to mocaf pie susu with pineapple and grape vla; 2) The level of preference for mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is the color of the likes category, the texture of the likes, the aroma of the likes and the taste of the likes. 3) the quality level of mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is greenish color, crunchy texture, pastry fragrant aroma and sweet taste.

The heart is undeniably an essential part of the human body system. The heart's missions are to pump blood to the lungs to expel the waste carbon dioxide that resulted from the respiration and pump blood that will deliver oxygen throughout the human body's circulation system. While the blood that carries oxygen being pumped throughout the human body, the heart will provide the oxygen to all cells. Body cells need to use oxygen to get the energy from food through a process called cellular respiration. Monitoring our heartbeat and pulse rate can increase people’s awareness about their heart’s health, motivating, and encouraging people to maintain a healthy eating plan and exercise. This research will be implemented ECG Sensor. The sensor will then send the data to the android application via HC-06 Bluetooth module. Duren Seribu Water Treatment Plant (WTP) plays a role in fulfilling water needs due to the increase in population growth. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the WTP and the potential for capacity uprating from the aspect of conformity to water quality standards, removal efficiency, and design parameters. Data collection was carried out by observation, measurement, and sampling. The result showed that raw water quality complies with the quality standards and is influenced by seasons. Meanwhile, the quality of drinking water produced for the parameters of pH, turbidity, TDS, organic matter, iron, and total coliform has complied with the quality standards. The efficiency removal of turbidity, TDS, organic matter, and iron occurred in conventional processing units were 94.6%, 70.5%, and 90.9%, and the total coliform removal efficiency was 1.8-log (67.05%). Based on the assessment of the design criteria, there are design parameters of the unit that require technical improvement such as detention time of flocculation unit, velocity and detention time in tube settler sedimentation unit, and the capacity of Duren Seribu WTP could be increased by 10% or up to 110 liters/second.
