The workspace is a portion of a structure that can currently apply a smart building system adaption for more ideal design outcomes. Millions of hours are reportedly wasted each year as a result of the harmful effects that poor environmental quality has on workers' productivity and health, according to the findings of several studies. Therefore, a centralized approach is required to be able to give quick and accurate information. This may be accomplished via digital twin technology, which will result in a workspace design that is more ideal in the future. The major goal of this research is to create a digital twin prescriptive model in a physical workspace environment that can create a strategic space design plan and be flexible enough to react to changes in the physical environment, which will improve user comfort and productivity. A life cycle model was employed as the study methodology, which begins with the identification of the model's requirements and ends with its maintenance. This model is employed to offer suggestions for preventative and remedial activities on actual things. © 2022 IEEE.

This research discusses about the implementation of MPU6050 to a SAR robot as a rotational motion control and improvement of robot stability. MPU6050 is implemented using ROS (Robot Operating System) and PID control. ROS is used as a means of communication while managing robot programs, namely the gyroscope reading program, PID control, and serial communication. A good PID control is able to provide stability to the robot's motion, both moving forward and balancing the robot body. PID requires tuning to produce the appropriate Kp, Ki, and Kd values. The result of this research is that ROS is able to manage the robot program well, and the PID tuning value with Kp = 0.12, Ki = 0, and Kd = 0 and completion time for 3.04s. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide an explanation of the implementation of ROS-based MPU6050 and PID control in improving the stability and rotational motion of the SAR robot.

In PBL, it is often pointed out that it is difficult to qualitatively evaluate the improvement of students' fundamental competencies for working persons. In this study, we propose a method to evaluate students' growth and to improve classes through self-evaluation by students and objective evaluation by a third party as an approach to qualitative evaluation of PBL courses. In the proposed method, we aim to evaluate the validity of the subjective self-evaluation by the students before and after taking the PBL course, based on the objective evaluation. In this paper, we report on the evaluation results of the PBL course in 2017 and 2018 by the proposed method using the self-evaluation of fundamental competencies for working persons before and after taking the PBL course and the objective evaluation through PROG competency test. © 2021 Japan Society for Software science and technology. This study sought to develop and test a machine learning based prototype of a smart home security system for Kampala Metropolitan area in Uganda. The researchers used a Design science Research (DSR) method to execute the project. The researchers identified a problem- which was high level of insecurity and crimes around homes in Kampala and its metropolitan areas, defined objectives, collected requirements, designed and developed the artifact, then demonstrated, evaluated, and communicated the artifact to stakeholders. The team created a working prototype of a home-security system that was later tested, demonstrated, validated among potential users. Practically, this project was implemented in a simulated environment using Tinkercad Arduino software. The developed system prototype was simulated on screen and tested on at least one home to ensure its effectiveness in reducing unauthorized entry, robbery, and other forms of crimes that are widely prevalent in Kampala today. One limitation of the project was that Arduino board used was quite limited on the number of pins that were available for use. The initial project idea had featured a temperature sensor to that was intended to regulate the temperature in the home by making use of the fan. However, the researchers did not implement this due to the limited pins and the capacity of the Arduino Uno R3 board that was used. Higher capacity industrial tools could provide a more realistic design of a similar system. The project simulated an environment of a smart home security system that can be used to detect and reduce crime. This study is part of a wider project to test ML and IoT systems in building secure smart homes. The authors envisage the application on more advanced ML algorithms and techniques in improving the system.

This article discusses Blockchain and Generative AI in healthcare, including their uses, difficulties, and solutions. Blockchain technology improves EHR security, privacy, and interoperability, while smart contracts streamline supply chain management and administrative procedures. Blockchain verifies and secures IoT data, improving medical care and treatment, according to case studies. Generative AI systems like ChatGPT have transformed healthcare by personalizing therapy, diagnostics, and predictive analytics. AI systems can examine massive databases to diagnose diseases early, anticipate dangers, and personalize therapies. By providing timely information, boosting treatment adherence, and giving continuous support, AI-powered virtual health assistants have enhanced patient involvement. Generative AI has additionally enhanced medical research and drug development, cutting the time and expense of introducing new medicines. Generative AI and Blockchain provide safe patient data storage, high-quality AI training datasets, and efficient healthcare operations. Scalability, energy usage, and interoperability issues remain. Scalable Blockchain designs and standardized data integration and exchange protocols are suggested by this study. The variations in students’ abilities present challenges in achieving desired learning outcomes. Students exhibit different levels of comprehension regarding the complexity of learning materials. In this study, we aim to model the difficulty levels of learning materials using a clustering approach to offer personalized learning material recommendations within an adaptive learning framework. Data were collected from student scores of Data Structure course obtained between 2020 and 2022 at the University of Trunojoyo Madura. The dataset modeling process adheres to the CRISP-DM Methodology, employing the K-Means clustering method and Euclidean Distance. We employed the Within-Cluster Sum of Squares (WCSS) metric and silhouette score to identify the optimal K-value, which resulted in a value of 5, accompanied by a silhouette score of 0.629. Our analysis pinpointed Stack and Deque as the easiest, while Linked List emerged as the most challenging course material. Accordingly, we will assign a label of 1 to the easiest materials, 2 to those of medium difficulty, and 3 to the most challenging ones. These labels will serve as criteria for recommending suitable learning materials to students based on their knowledge level. We will assess the ratio between the overall knowledge level score and the difficulty level of the material. The ratio value will serve as a reference for determining material recommendations for students. Materials categorized with the highest difficulty levels are exclusively suggested to students demonstrating faster learning abilities with a high value of ratio, and vice versa. This approach is feasible for implementation in adaptive learning.

This paper concentrates on the examination of a class of nonlocal initial value problems for Langevin fractional differential equations featuring the ψ-Caputo fractional derivative within Banach spaces. By utilizing Banach’s fixed-point theorem, we establish the uniqueness of the solutions to these problems. The existence of solutions is then confirmed using Schaefer’s and Darbo’s fixed-point theorems. the design decisions made in the architecture of a software system are essential to its maintainability, and thus its quality is of great importance. Architecture smells (ASs) can be used to identify any quality issues within the system. To further explore the relationships between ASs, stability, and reusability, Spearman correlation coefficients will be calculated. This paper seeks to examine the connection between architecture smells, software stability, and reusability. To do this, we utilized a dataset created by other researchers and conducted an empirical study of the associations between five types of architecture smells and software stability and reusability. This research is necessary as there is a lack of in-depth research on architecture smells and their relationship to software stability and reusability. We found a relationship between the presence of Feature Concentration in package and the stability and reusability of the package. Also, package's stability is affected by both Cyclic Dependency and Unstable Dependency. A slight positive correlation has been found between God Class and stability, as well as a very weak negative correlation between Unstable Dependency and reusability. Finally, we found a slight negative correlation between package stability and reusability.

This paper is aimed at presenting highly sensitive microwave displacement and alignment sensors. With this goal, the method of realizing mechanically tunable cavity resonators in groove gap waveguides technology is presented. The resonance frequency of the cavity is then used for displacement sensing. It is also demonstrated that the symmetry properties of a pair of groove gap waveguide cavities can be used to improve the robustness of the sensor to variations in ambient conditions. The proposed sensor also benefits from a reference zero, thus can be used as an alignment sensor. A very good sensitivity of S=1.25 GHz/mm is achieved, which can be easily improved by scaling the operating frequency. © 2022 European Microwave Association (EuMA).

As a critical component of near-Earth space environment, the ionosphere exerts profound impacts on radio navigation and positioning systems, while playing a pivotal role in investigating the spatial physical coupling mechanisms among lithosphere, atmosphere, and thermosphere. Computerized ionospheric tomography (CIT) has established its central position in both theoretical exploration and practical applications through the reconstruction of three-dimensional (3D) spatiotemporal electron density distributions. Nevertheless, inherent challenges such as insufficient observational data and non-uniform signal path distribution contribute to the ill-posed nature of inversion processes, thereby constraining the accuracy and resolution of 3D ionospheric inversions. This paper presents a comprehensive retrospective analysis of the developmental trajectory of CIT technology, with particular emphasis on key innovations including enhanced inversion algorithms, multi-source data fusion and assimilation techniques, as well as machine learning integration. The study highlights the instrumental role of neural network-based machine learning and multi-source data convergence in addressing the ill-posed inversion problem, while pioneering an in-depth exploration of potential applications in geological hazard early warning systems and precision navigation positioning. Building upon current research advancements, this work proposes that multi-system data fusion coupled with deep learning methodologies will emerge as critical enablers for improving the accuracy, resolution, and robustness of ionospheric tomography. Furthermore, data-driven physical modeling is identified as a promising direction for future investigations. With continued technological evolution, CIT is anticipated to exert amplified influence in enhancing navigation services, elucidating spatial physical coupling mechanisms across lithospheric-atmospheric-thermospheric systems, and advancing geological disaster early warn
