Waste identification has been widely carried out using machine learning with various methods. One method that is often used is the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN). Waste identification has a function as machine learning that helps and accelerates the waste management process, especially the waste sorting process. This research was conducted by collecting data by downloading a dataset from Kaggle. The data were then be labeled in a folder according to their type. The dataset folder was entered into a Python machine learning system equipped with the TensorFlow module. The data was preprocessed so that it became simplified and the machine could read the data. The data was trained to be able to distinguish between the types of waste. After that, the CNN method was implemented in machine learning so that the machine could classify the waste image. The results of the CNN implementation show that the system can classify images with the greatest accuracy of 99.83% with a validation accuracy of 76.1% and the smallest loss percentage of about 0.04% at epoch 18. The results show that there was overfitting in the dataset classification process caused by the average accuracy value of the training data and validation data being too large, around 20%. © 2022, The Authors. This research aims to build a mathematical model to formulate the problems of implementing knowledge management systems in companies that often face obstacles in achieving the desired objectives and goals. With increasing competition in the business sector, organizations or organizations realize the importance of utilizing the knowledge assets that reside in each individual and organization. If this knowledge can be managed optimally, it can become a competitive advantage for the company due to the emergence of innovative ideas by the concepts of knowledge management theory. By implementing optimal knowledge management (KM), companies can design innovative solutions to improve business operations and increase overall revenue. The factor analysis method will be used to find the determining factors for the success of the implementation of knowledge management systems (KMS) and the regression analysis method will also be used to form a mathematical model of several new factors which are formed as independent variables with the current level of community understanding of KMS as the dependent variable. The research results provide insight into strategies to improve success factors to successfully facilitate KMS implementation. This study contributes to existing knowledge management by providing insight into dynamics that go beyond the technical aspects of KMS, ultimately developing strategies for more effective and efficient utilization of knowledge and organizational growth and supporting competitive advantage for companies.

Organizations face an urgent need to become faster, more efficient, and more successful in their commercial operations, given the current state of technological evolution and the arrival of Industry 4.0. Many businesses have adopted the idea of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to achieve this goal. The ERP system is expected to increase worker productivity, improve business performance to maximize profitability and profits, and provide accurate and up-to-date data and information to management and stakeholders. This research aims to find new variables related to integration problems in the use of ERP systems. Using the SPSS statistical program, the data collected will be examined using quantitative exploratory factor analysis (EFA). Data processing then includes collecting demographic information from respondents, reliability testing, conducting the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test, testing using an anti-image matrix, and deriving new factors using a rotation component matrix. This research seeks to identify new elements underlying ongoing integration problems in ERP system implementation. The research results show several reasons for underlying integration problems and offer in-depth information to management that can be used to analyze and evaluate the ERP system in their company appropriately in the future so that the company's performance becomes superior to the competition.

A Computationally Efficient Algorithm for Estimating Respiratory Rate from Seismocardiogram

Respiratory rate (RR) monitoring is crucial in clinical and healthcare settings. With the advancements in microelectromechanical system (MEMS) technology, monitoring respiration using seismocardiogram (SCG) is emerging as a promising approach. This study presents a computationally efficient algorithm for estimating RR from SCG signal. The proposed algorithm consists of two primary steps: firstly applying Gaussian averaging filter for pre-processing and next computing the averaged spectrum from the scalogram based on complex Morlet wavelet within the specified frequency range. RR is then estimated from the dominant frequency appeared in the averaged spectrum. This study also establishes the analytical relationship between the parameters of Gaussian averaging filter and the sampling frequency of SCG signal, which serves as the design criterion for pre-processing filter. The proposed algorithm undergoes testing on two SCG datasets and has demonstrated its feasibility for estimating RR from SCG signal. Furthermore, the algorithm is also tested on both finger and wrist PPG datasets for RR estimation. The test results present high agreement between the RR estimations from SCG (or PPG) signal and those from respiration signal. Based on these testing results, the proposed algorithm shows significant potential in clinical and healthcare applications. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Superior and quality human resources are based on healthy human resources with indicators of adequate nutritional intake according to age development. However, the world still faces the problem of hunger and malnutrition today. According to a UNICEF report, the number of people suffering from malnutrition in the world will reach 767.9 million people in 2021. The World Health Organization (WHO) said that malnutrition is a dangerous threat to the health of the world's population. Stunting also has an impact in Indonesia, the prevalence of toddlers experiencing stunting in Indonesia is 24.4% in 2021. The solution created is to classify and cluster the prevalence of stunting to produce a pattern that can be used as best practice to be transmitted to other affected areas. The algorithm used is Euclid. The Euclid algorithm can cluster stunting prevalence data into 4 clusters with the very little category at 79%, the little category at 67%, the many categories at 51%, and the very much category at 21%. The results of the classification and clustering of the best stunting prevalence in cluster one with a very small number, can be used as a source of accurate and updated information that can be used by the government in its efforts to optimize stunting handling in each district/city based on artificial intelligence which can provide handling and optimization patterns. stunting in every district/city.

The escalating visibility of secure direct object reference (IDOR) vulnerabilities in API security, as indicated in the compilation of OWASP Top 10 API Security Risks, highlights a noteworthy peril to sensitive data. This study explores IDOR vulnerabilities found within Android APIs, intending to clarify their inception while evaluating their implications for application security. This study combined the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Insights were obtained from an actual penetration test on an Android app into the primary reasons for IDOR vulnerabilities, underscoring insufficient input validation and weak authorization methods. We stress the frequent occurrence of IDOR vulnerabilities in the OWASP Top 10 API vulnerability list, highlighting the necessity to prioritize them in security evaluations. There are mitigation recommendations available for developers, which recognize its limitations involving a possibly small and homogeneous selection of tested Android applications, the testing environment that could cause some inaccuracies, and the impact of time constraints. Additionally, the study noted insufficient threat modeling and root cause analysis, affecting its generalizability and real-world relevance. However, comprehending and controlling IDOR dangers can enhance Android API security, protect user data, and bolster application resilience.

programming can help K-12 students to develop their 21st-century core skills. Despite the benefits, programming is not common to be delivered in Indonesian K-12 education. There is a need to understand potential challenges in introducing programming to K-12 students. We developed a questionnaire survey covering four identified dimensions of challenges: administrative, facilities, teachers, and students. We also asked about common programming assessments and their preferred software features for teaching programming. Forty K-12 teachers were invited to complete the survey. The responses were analyzed with thematic analysis using a bigram-based Latent Dirichlet Allocation topic modeling and descriptive statistics. Our study shows that the challenges include limited learning modules, an insufficient number of computers, limited programming skills, and limited computational thinking skills. Scratch was the most common programming language used and many programming assessments were about debugging a program or writing a small program. Visualization and animation can be helpful in teaching programming.

Improved accuracy of long short term memory (LSTM) algorithm in chili price prediction

The unstable price of chili is still a serious problem in society. Many previous studies have created systems that can predict chili prices. However, there are no chili price prediction results that are considered quite accurate and consistent. So the problem is overcome by processing chili price data using interpolation and dropna on missing values in order to maintain data quality and using the Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm development in predicting chili prices. This LSTM development was carried out to improve the inconsistent chili price prediction results due to the high error value. LSTM development is carried out in the cell state (ct) and hidden state (ht) with the aim of obtaining better prediction results. Then the accuracy of the error value obtained from the LSTM development in Labuhanbatu district is MAE = 2.589, RMSE = 3.419, and MSE = 11.695.900. This value is lower than using the original LSTM and only using dropna in processing missing value data, namely MAE = 5.517, RMSE = 7.930, and MSE = 62.900.289. Then the difference in percentage error value from the comparison is MAE = 53.07%, RMSE = 56.88%, and MSE = 81.41%. Therefore, it is expected that the low error value results from the development of LSTM can be an indicator of increasing the accuracy of chili price prediction results and making the results more consistent.

Background: A dual-function phantom designed to quantify the apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) in different fat contents (FCs) and glass bead densities (GBDs) to simulate the human tissues has not been documented yet. We propose a dual-function phantom to quantify the FC and to measure the ADC at different FCs and different GBDs. Methods: A fat-containing diffusion phantom comprised by 30 glass-bead-containing fat-water emulsions consisting of six different FCs (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50%) multiplied by five different GBDs (0, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, and 1.0 g/50 mL). The FC and ADC were measured by the “iterative decomposition of water and fat with echo asymmetry and least squares estimation-IQ,” IDEAL-IQ, and single-shot echo-planar diffusion-weighted imaging, SS-EP-DWI, sequences, respectively. Linear regression analysis was used to evaluate the relationship among the fat fraction (FF) measured by IDEAL-IQ, GBD, and ADC. Results: The ADC was significantly, negatively, and linearly associated with the FF (the linear slope ranged from -0.005 to -0.017, R² = 0.925 to 0.986, all p < 0.001). The slope of the linear relationship between the ADC and the FF, however, varied among different GBDs (the higher the GBD, the lower the slope). ADCs among emulsions across different GBDs and FFs were overlapped. Emulsions with low GBDs plus high FFs shared a same lower ADC range with those with median or high GBDs plus median or lower FFs. Conclusions: A novel dual-function phantom simulating the human tissues allowed to quantify the influence of FC and GBD on ADC. Relevance statement: The study developed an innovative dual-function MRI phantom to explore the impact of FC on ADC variation that can affect clinical results. The results revealed the superimposed effect on FF and GBD density on ADC measurements.
