A search for new phenomena in final states with hadronically decaying tau leptons, b-jets, and missing transverse momentum is presented. The analyzed dataset comprises pp collision data at a center-of-mass energy of s=13 TeV with an integrated luminosity of 139 fb−1, delivered by the Large Hadron Collider and recorded with the ATLAS detector from 2015 to 2018. The observed data are compatible with the expected Standard Model background. The results are interpreted in simplified models for two different scenarios. The first model is based on supersymmetry and considers pair production of top squarks, each of which decays into a b-quark, a neutrino and a tau slepton. Each tau slepton in turn decays into a tau lepton and a nearly massless gravitino. Within this model, top-squark masses up to 1.4 TeV can be excluded at the 95% confidence level over a wide range of tau-slepton masses. The second model considers pair production of leptoquarks with decays into third-generation leptons and quarks. Depending on the branching fraction into charged leptons, leptoquarks with masses up to around 1.25 TeV can be excluded at the 95% confidence level for the case of scalar leptoquarks and up to 1.8 TeV (1.5 TeV) for vector leptoquarks in a Yang–Mills (minimal-coupling) scenario. In addition, model-independent upper limits are set on the cross section of processes beyond the Standard Model.

The purpose of this research is to validate the Critical Success Factors (CSFs) of e-Government implementation in Indonesia. The e-Government initiative conducted only to obey the regulation but ignoring the quality. Defining CSFs will help government agencies to avoid failure of e-Government projects. A survey with the questionnaire was used to validate the item of CSF based on expert judgment through two round of Delphi. The result showed from 67 subjects in instrument tested; there are 11 invalid items deleted and remain only 56 items that had good content validity and internal reliability. Therefore, all 56 CSFs should be adopted by government agencies in Indonesia to support e-Government implementation.

Two-particle long-range azimuthal correlations are measured in photonuclear collisions using 1.7nb−1 of 5.02 TeV Pb+Pb collision data collected by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider. Candidate events are selected using a dedicated high-multiplicity photonuclear event trigger, a combination of information from the zero-degree calorimeters and forward calorimeters, and from pseudorapidity gaps constructed using calorimeter energy clusters and charged-particle tracks. Distributions of event properties are compared between data and Monte Carlo simulations of photonuclear processes. Two-particle correlation functions are formed using charged-particle tracks in the selected events, and a template-fitting method is employed to subtract the nonflow contribution to the correlation. Significant nonzero values of the second- and third-order flow coefficients are observed and presented as a function of charged-particle multiplicity and transverse momentum. The results are compared with flow coefficients obtained in proton-proton and proton-lead collisions in similar multiplicity ranges, and with theoretical expectations. The unique initial conditions present in this measurement provide a new way to probe the origin of the collective signatures previously observed only in hadronic collisions.

Online Learning is a learning model that utilizes internet network. As one of the institutions providing vocational education, ATI Immanuel is planned to implement online learning for improving the quality of education. help learners in choosing learning topics. The concept of data mining itself is a process of analysis of the database of students learning ATI Immanuel which has been collected and will be obtained patterns of student behavior in learning. The results of the study are expected to help online learning participants in this case ATI Immanuel students so they can choose the best training topics. Data mining applications with this rough set algorithm will be designed using PHP programming Language and using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) design method.

Reconstructing maximum parsimony (MP) trees along with bootstrap for large multiple sequence alignments is a computationally challenging task. In this paper, we present MPBoot, a new method for approximating MP bootstrap based on the idea of a previously introduced method for maximum likelihood bootstrap. MPBoot economizes the computations by only sampling trees on the original alignment and simultaneously calculating exact parsimony scores for all bootstrap alignments. Preliminary experiments on simulated data showed that MPBoot is about 2-3.5 times faster and yields better parsimony scores than a fast bootstrap procedure implemented in TNT. MPBoot also produced less biased support value than TNT for small simulated data sets (=500) MPBoot overestimates the probability that a clade is true, i.e., results in likely high false positive rates. As MPBoot is currently a proof-of-concept implementation, more work is to understand the limitations of the method. © 2016 IEEE.

The Student Identity Card used at Immanuel Technology High School is planned to be completed with RFID in the Academic Year 2018/2019. Based on this then one of the RFID usage on Student Identity Card is for the election of the Governor of Student Executive Board (BEM). This is to help the election committee can quickly handle the selection process quickly and efficiently without having to do manual recording of student data that make the selection. RFID to be installed is RFID Tag Mifare, other than that required hardware such as Arduino Board and RFID Reader RC522. Data of students who have made the selection will be stored in the MySQL database The results of this study is expected to help the selection process so it takes place with honest, fair, fast, and efficient.

Differences possessed by children with special needs such as differences in mental traits, sensory abilities, social and emotional behavior etc. of normal children causing learning and developmental barriers on children, so that requiring more specific services. Autism is one category of children with special needs who experience delays in responding to the things around him that caused by chaos in the brain work system. The tendency of autistic children who only focus on themselves makes it difficult to concentrate on one thing and easily switch when being talked. Training focus of the child can be done by giving them basic commands presented with visually appealing from the utilization of augmented reality and leap motion controller.
