Widyaiswara is required to show the best performance to fulfill his duties and obligations. Therefore, it is very important to measure the performance of the Widyaiswara, so that it can be used as evaluation material by the BPSDM PROVSU. However, the assessment process that occurs is still not precise and time-consuming. Therefore, to minimize this, a decision support system is needed that can minimize time errors and data processing in decision-making so that the assessment runs well and accurately. This system was built by applying the WASPAS method and the TOPSIS method. Based on the results of tests carried out five times, the results of the WASPAS method processing time resulted in an average processing time of 0.00029791 ms and an average memory usage value of 2.836.44 kb, while the results of the TOPSIS method processing time test resulted in an average processing time - an average of 0.000296428 ms and an average memory usage value of 2.862.34 kb. © 2022 IEEE.

Management of patient data at the Technical Implementation Unit of the Community Health Center (UPT. Puskesmas) of Rhee Sumbawa District has not been fully computerized. The need for the development of an Information System to store medical records (history) of patient data. The research aims to develop information systems with descriptive research methods. For software development methods using Waterfall Models and built with Microsoft Visual Studio C# software and databases stored in Microsoft SQL Server software. Software testing uses Black Box Testing, which is testing software in functional terms. The results of research into digital data technology products that function to enter, change, delete data and minimize the time to find the data needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of data management. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Javanese characters is a priceless cultural heritage. The form of the characters and the art of making it become a legacy that deserves to be preserved. The difficulty that is often experienced by the community is in terms of remembering the form, pronunciation, and errors in placing Javanese characters pairs and the lack of available references. Coupled with the elimination of curricula regarding regional languages at the SMA / SMK level. This encourages writers to conduct research and build mobile learning applications for Java characters learning. With the aim of producing a Mobile Learning application that can Assist learning and writing Javanese characters to be more interactive so as to motivate the community to learn Javanese characters. The use of the Gesture API technology that functions when the user starts touching the screen and performs the movements that have been determined by the system and understood by the system itself. The steps taken are analyzing the problem regarding the making of this Java characters mobile learning application through observation, interviews and literature studies to be further identified to obtain data from the general public. Then do the system needs analysis, user needs analysis, while the results will be tested using Black Box and Post study analysis to determine the extent of the usability system to the problems in the communityThe results of the application built in the form of the introduction of Javanese characters with a gesture board, Javanese characters pronunciation in the form of audio visual and Javanese characters quiz writing so that it was more effective and interactive. With the results of testing the black box test, the application built has been running according to its use and function and based on post study testing obtained the average rating of respondents with the results stated that community categories are acceptable, acceptable and acceptable students.

Software testing is a phase in software development to ensure software quality. As more and more software is developed for web and mobile platforms, Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer is responsible to test software on both platforms to ensure functionality on each platform. While automated test can be implemented to reduce the workload of SQA Engineer, it has its setbacks as automated test needs a huge effort to maintain it and available tools to develop automated test currently only support one platform. In this research, an automated test framework is proposed and developed that can test both web and mobile platforms. Compared to an automated test project that uses separate tools, a project that uses the proposed framework has 2.57% higher maintainability index. A user test to 3 SQA Engineers has also been conducted and the proposed framework has generally been given high maintainability rating.

One of the major problems in differential calculus is determining the derivative value of a function. A commonly used method is numerical derivative. The value obtained by this method is just approximation value. More accurate derivative value is obtained through analytic approach, by looking for general forms of the derivative function. Problem solving agent approach can be utilized to develop such tool, where the operators and constants in the function should be easily customized. It requires four steps in deriving function: parsing, deriving, simplification, and output returning step. User enters the function in a string, and it will be converted into an abstract syntax tree. This tree is traced by DFS algorithm to be derived and simplified. Based on the test results, the analytical derivation requires short processing time. Derivative results are correct, but simplifications are less optimal in some test cases. The modification of constants, operators, and the derivative rules can be done easily.

One of graduation requirements at university is completing undergraduate thesis. At Industrial engineering Universitas Ahmad Dahlan, undergraduate thesis titles are documented by thesis coordinator. The problem is that students are less knowledgeable on thesis topics, so they do not really know the previous students' thesis topics. Based on the problem, this research aims at developing a program to classify thesis title so the knowledge on the trend of thesis title topic can be got The method used in this research was K-Means clustering, while range measurement method used was cosine similarity. The testing used Silhouette Coefficient method. The phases from text mining were tokenizing, filtering, stemming, similarity, classifying, testing. The result of this research is a program that can process the title data into trend group pattern of thesis title topic. From 138 data obtained, there are three clusters arranged based on the field on Industrial engineering study program. Silhouette Coefficient testing shows score of 0.5674 that shows the clustering result is classified low. It occurs since the textual data of the thesis title is too widely distributed, so the title has relatively low similarity score.

Deafness is a condition that results in the loss of hearing function, hindering the reception of information such as oral communication that relies on auditory senses. Consequently, individuals with hearing impairment experience communication barriers and may have limited or no ability to respond. One solution is the use of sign language. In Indonesia, there are two known sign languages: Sibi and Bisindo. Both serve the same function but differ in their style of movement and expression. Bisindo is considered more flexible as it conveys meaning based on the Indonesian language. However, the universal understanding of this language solution is still limited among many people. Therefore, a program is needed to facilitate translation between deaf individuals who use sign language and their counterparts who do not communicate through sign language. CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is a deep learning algorithm used for training visual input data recognition by computer systems. There are various CNN-based architectures, and one of them is AlexNet. Based on the author's testing, the AlexNet architecture proves to be suitable for real-time sign language translation. The evaluation of the system involved 7,800 datasets and 520 testing instances, with an average accuracy of 468 correct translations. When averaged, the system achieved a 90% accuracy rate, representing a 100% increase in accuracy compared to previous approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

Disability is a person's condition in the physical, intellectual, mental, and/or sensory limitations in the long term. This study is reserved for those who do not have the lower arm in order to operate the computer normally. This study uses orientation sensor on the smartphone as the main sensor to move the cursor and click. Delivery of data from smartphone to computer is using Bluetooth. This study will compare two gestures from a combination of orientation sensors on the upper arm: gesture 1 using pitch-yaw motion and gesture 2 using pitch-roll motion; to move the cursor on the monitor. Left-click and right-click using ANN is to detect upper arm jerk movements. Evaluation using ISO/TS 9241-411 standard: ergonomics of human-system interaction; which includes performance evaluation and comfort of the gesture. Performance results of throughput, movement time, comfort and fatigue between gestures were not significantly different between those gestures. The result of the effort questionnaire is that gesture 1 has the highest effort on the shoulder and gesture 2 has the highest effort on the hand.

In an era where human-machine interaction is becoming increasingly important, the ability to understand emotions can enhance user experience across various applications, such as customer service and monitoring systems. This study aims to develop an emotion recognition system through voice using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) feature extraction. The dataset used in this research includes seven emotion classes: happy, sad, angry, surprised, neutral, fearful, and disgusted, with a total of 2.800 samples obtained from the open-source Kaggle platform. The LSTM model is implemented to capture temporal patterns in voice data, while MFCC features are employed to represent the characteristics of the voice. The evaluation results show a classification accuracy of 98.80%, with the LSTM model proving effective in addressing the challenges of time series data with long-term dependencies. This research not only contributes to the understanding of emotions through voice but also opens opportunities for further development of real-time emotion recognition systems. The implementation of this technology can enrich human-machine interaction, creating more responsive and emotionally aware systems, and contribute to innovations in artificial intelligence.

In recent years, the number of vehicles has increased significantly. As a result, drivers waste a lot of time looking for an open parking spot or queuing to enter one. It leads to fuel waste and raises air pollution at the same time. One solution is to implement an innovative system that provides a comprehensive parking solution. This work focuses on designing a smart parking management system that allows drivers to see the parking slots, then reserve a certain slot before arriving to the parking area. It is a web-based system where the drivers do not have to download any mobile application. Practically, the system implemented ultrasonic sensors to check slot availability. In addition, an indicator is installed at each slot to differentiate the one that is vacant, reserved, and occupied. They are controlled by ESP32 modules, and the data was sent wirelessly by using MQTT protocol. Quantitatively, the ultrasonic sensors are set to have 100 cm of distance as the threshold to differentiate vacant and occupied slots. After experiments, it was found that the sensor has an accuracy of 94.72%. However, there is an approximately 10 seconds of delay since the reservation is made until it can be successfully confirmed by the system. Finally, the system also informs the drivers of how long they have been parking, as well as the parking fee based on the duration of time. © 2022 Institute of Advanced engineering and Science (IAES).
