The increasing number of servers used to support all the activities that assist the production of a company. Usually, it will be a waste, because a physical server cannot share resources such as CPU, RAM, and network. It will force the company to buy a new server each time to implement a new system. Therefore, we examined and analyzed the comparison of performance on a physical server with a virtual server that is built as an IP camera server to answer the needs of the company. After testing and getting the data, we conclude that in the testing of a turn on, restart and shut down servers, virtual servers have very much superior performance compared to physical servers. While in terms of performance of the CPU, RAM, and network, both physical servers and virtual servers do not have a significant difference. However, the important notes are in virtualization, it can perform resource sharing, and this technology is needed by companies in this era.

Effect of Sugar on Nutrient Composition and Shelf Life of Red Guava Jams

Red guava as fruit jams normally preserved using added sugar to prolong its shelf life. Heating process and different sugar content could affect in nutrient content and expiration date. Hence, the aim of this study was to evaluate the nutrient content and shelf life of jams based on two different sugar content. Two hundred (jam A) and two hundred and fifty grams of sugar (jam B) was added in 800 grams of guava then cooked at 70°C within an hour. Protein and fat was measured using Kjeldahl and soxhlet, while water and ash content was analyzed using thermogravimetry and dry ash method. Carbohydrate was calculated using by difference method. Shelf life determination was obtained using organoleptic test, containing taste, aroma, and visual sensory. In result, jam A have a higher protein (0.334%), fat (1.567%), and water (29.21%) than jam B (0.306%; 1.092%; 27.32%). On the other hand, ash (0.34%) and carbohydrate (68.549%) in jam A are lower than B (0.37% and 70.912 respectively). Overall, jam A have a higher protein, fat, water and carbohydrate content than jam B. A higher water content potentially indicate a lower shelf life which seen in jam A. In conclution, terms of nutritional composition, jam A have higher content than jam B, but have lower shelf life.

Queueing is commonly occured at every industry. The basic model of queueing theory gives a foundation for modeling a manufacturing system. Nowadays, carbon emission is an important and inevitable issue due to its huge impact to our environment. However, existing model of queuing applied for analysis of single stage manufacturing system has not taken Carbon emissions into consideration. If it is applied to manufacturing context, it may lead to improper decisisions. By taking into account of emission variables into queuing models, not only the model become more comprehensive but also it creates awareness on the issue to many parties that involves in the system. This paper discusses the single stage M/M/1 queueing model that involves emission variable. Hopefully it could be a starting point for the next more complex models. It has a main objective for determining how carbon emissions could fit into the basic queueing theory. It turned out that the involvement of emission variables into the model has modified the traditional model of a single stage queue to a calculation model of production lot quantity allowed per period.

OT 081 is a well-known, luminous blazar that is remarkably variable in many energy bands. We present the first broadband study of the source which includes very-high-energy (VHE, E >100 GeV) γ-ray data taken by the MAGIC and H.E.S.S. imaging Cherenkov telescopes. The discovery of VHE γ-ray emission happened during a high state of γ-ray activity in July 2016, observed by many instruments from radio to VHE γ-rays. We identify four states of activity of the source, one of which includes VHE γ-ray emission. Variability in the VHE domain is found on daily timescales. The intrinsic VHE spectrum can be described by a power-law with index 3.27 ± 0.44stat ± 0.15sys (MAGIC) and 3.39 ± 0.58stat ± 0.64sys (H.E.S.S.) in the energy range of 55–300 GeV and 120–500 GeV, respectively. The broadband emission cannot be sucessfully reproduced by a simple one-zone synchrotron self-Compton model. Instead, an additional external Compton component is required. We test a lepto-hadronic model that reproduces the dataset well and a proton-synchrotron dominated model that requires an extreme proton luminosity. Emission models that are able to successfully represent the data place the emitting region well outside of the Broad Line Region (BLR) to a location at which the radiative environment is dominated by the infrared thermal radiation field of the dusty torus. In the scenario described by this flaring activity, the source appears to be an FSRQ, in contrast with past categorizations. This suggests that the source can be considered to be a transitional blazar, intermediate between BL Lac and FSRQ objects. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Breast cancer is the leading type of malignant tumor which is observed in women. The effective treatment depends on its early diagnosis. The gold standard of breast cancer is histopathologic examination of cancer cells. The determination of the grading in breast cancer is determined by three factors: pleomorphic, tubular formation and cell mitosis. This paper uses pleumorfic and tubular formation pattern from breast cell histopathology images. The proposed system consists of four major steps : preprocessing, segmentation, feature extraction and classification. We use k – means clustering method for image segmentation and use Gray level Cooccurence Matrix (GLCM) for feature extraction with four features (i.e. angular second moment, contrast feature, entropy feature, and variance feature). The final step is grading classification which uses Backpropagation Neural Network. Some of important parameters will be variated in this process such as learning rate and the number of node in hidden layer. The research gives good result for the identification of breast cancer grading with 88% accuracy, 85% sensitivity, and 80% specificity.

The first Large Size Telescope (LST-1) of the Cherenkov Telescope Array has been operational since October 2018 at La Palma, Spain. We report on the results obtained during the camera commissioning. The noise level of the readout is determined as a 0.2 p.e. level. The gain of PMTs are well equalized within 2% variation, using the calibration flash system. The effect of the night sky background on the signal readout noise as well as the PMT gain estimation are also well evaluated. Trigger thresholds are optimized for the lowest possible gamma-ray energy threshold and the trigger distribution synchronization has been achieved within 1 ns precision. Automatic rate control realizes the stable observation with 1.5% rate variation over 3 hours. The performance of the novel DAQ system demonstrates a less than 10% dead time for 15 kHz trigger rate even with sophisticated online data correction. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. The Galactic magnetar SGR 1935+2154 was associated with a bright, millisecond-timescale fast radio burst (FRB) which occured in April 2020, during a flaring episode. This was the first time an FRB was unequivocally associated with a Galactic source, and the first FRB for which the nature of the emitting source was identified. Moreover, it was the first FRB with a counterpart at another wavelength correlated in time, an atypical, hard X-ray burst, which provides clear evidence for accompanying non-thermal processes. The MAGIC Telescopes are Imaging Air Cherenkov Telescopes (IACTs) sensitive to very-high-energy (VHE, E>100 GeV) gamma rays. Located at the center of the camera lies the MAGIC Central pixel, a single fully-modified photosensor-toreadout chain to measure millisecond-duration optical signals, displaying a maximum sensitivity at a wavelength of 350 nm. This allows MAGIC to operate simultaneously both as a VHE gammaray and a fast optical telescope. The MAGIC telescopes have monitored SGR 1935+2154 in a multiwavelength campaign involving X-ray, radio and optical facilities. In this contribution, we will show the results on the search for the VHE counterpart of the first SGR-FRB source in this multiwavelength context, as well as the search for fast optical bursts with the MAGIC Central Pixel. © 2021 Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons.

Hybrid cryptosystem RSA – CRT optimization and VMPC

Hybrid cryptosystem combines symmetric algorithms and asymmetric algorithms. This combination utilizes speeds on encryption/decryption processes of symmetric algorithms and asymmetric algorithms to secure symmetric keys. In this paper we propose hybrid cryptosystem that combine symmetric algorithms VMPC and asymmetric algorithms RSA – CRT optimization. RSA – CRT optimization speeds up the decryption process by obtaining plaintext with dp and p key only, so there is no need to perform CRT processes. The VMPC algorithm is more efficient in software implementation and reduces known weaknesses in RC4 key generation. The results show hybrid cryptosystem RSA – CRT optimization and VMPC is faster than hybrid cryptosystem RSA – VMPC and hybrid cryptosystem RSA – CRT – VMPC. Starting from the first announcement of unequivocal detection of very high energy (VHE) emission from a gamma-ray burst (GRB) by the MAGIC telescopes (GRB 190114C), four additional detections of VHE emission from GRBs by ground-based telescopes were reported. These observations have revealed a new, energetic component that has become an additional probe to explore GRB physics. In order to deepen our understanding of the origin of this new component, and in general of the origin of radiation from GRBs, further observations by VHE instruments are crucial. In this work we report fast follow-up observations by the MAGIC telescopes of GRB 201015A, a GRB detected by the Swift/BAT. As measured by BAT, the prompt emission lasted 9.8 ± 3.5 seconds, suggesting that this GRB belongs to the class of long events. This was later confirmed by optical observations, which allowed to measure the redshift (z = 0.42) and found the associated type Ic-BL supernova. Having a prompt isotropic-equivalent energy of Eiso ∼1050 erg, this GRB is a relatively low energy event as compared to the population of long GRBs. Observations with the MAGIC telescopes started about 30 seconds after the GRB onset and were performed under good observational conditions. The accurate analysis of the MAGIC data reveals a strong hint of detection and implies a significant energy release in the TeV range, smaller but comparable with that of the prompt emission in the keV-MeV band. © Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0)
