The occurrence of landslides in the hills of Walahir, Kidang Pananjung village, Cililin subdistrict. Bandung in May 2004 needed attention and research so that the causes of the landslide could be identified. This landslide took many lives and property, heaped around 5 hectares of rice fields and residents' villages below and claimed 15 lives. Based on geotechnical investigations, the slip plane is at a depth of 4 meters from the ground surface and the area of the landslide ranges from 30,000 m2 leaving weathered rock beneath. Is the opening of agricultural land and fields followed by the use of chemical fertilizers is one of the causes of landslides? This study aims to determine the effect of a single chemical fertilizer (Urea, Za, SP36) and compound (Green Giant NPK, MKP) on the soil under conditions of optimum water content and water saturation or soaked which are carried out at the Chemical Laboratory of the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of Bandung and Mechanics Laboratory Bandung Institute of Technology. Research on the influence of chemical fertilizers which is carried out using percentages of 1%, 2% and 3% with a relatively short ripening time intends to analyze the extent to which chemical fertilizers have an effect. Research is limited to the identification of minerals and chemical elements of original soil, soil physis properties, Atterberg boundaries, soil index properties, soil classification, soil elastic modulus. Hypothesis;The chemical content of fertilizers in the soil causes changes in soil characteristics. The method of taking original soil is by drilling original soil around the area where landslide disaster occurred at the same height as the height of the landslide slope, soil samples taken from depths of 1 meter and 3 meters from the surface of the land or the base layer between soil and rocks based on ASTM D-1452, 1587, 1586. This study aims to develop an edible coating based on virgin coconut oil (VCO) nanoemulsion, iota-carrageenan and alginate to prolong the shelf life of pindang (mildly salted cooked) fish products. The research involved three stages: material preparation, characterization and determination of factors and responses for experimental design;parameter optimization to achieve optimal conditions;and application and analysis of pre- and post-coating characteristics of pindang fish. The parameter ranges were 0.5–1.5% for alginate concentration, 0.5–1.5% for iota-carrageenan concentration and 0.5–1.0% for VCO nanoemulsion concentration. The result of this study was an optimized food coating solution that was clear and bright white in color. Pindang fish coated with this layer showed improved quality in terms of water content (48.46%), weight loss (0.39%), pH (5.84), total volatile base (47.01%), salt content (2.9%), appearance (7), texture (7) and slime (7). At the same time, the total bacterial count remained unchanged (8 log colony-forming units (CFU)/g), the mold count remained unchanged (5 log CFU/g) and the aroma and taste received a score of 6. Thus, this study successfully produced an optimized edible coating that can enhance the quality and extend the shelf life of pindang fish, making it suitable for broader market distribution. © 2023 ICE Publishing. Currently, there are a lot of measurement data on different items collected over time. The GMANOVA model is appropriate for analyzing the trends in such data, in order to analyze some longitudinal data collected on different items simultaneously, we need to create separate GMANOVA models, but separate GMANOVA models cannot reveal the relationships between items. Also, if we try to apply one model to all of these data, the problem arises that there are too many parameters and the covariance structure is too large. Therefore, we propose an extended GMANOVA model and two estimation algorithms. The proposed model’s covariance matrix has a Kronecker structure. Therefore, because the estimator cannot be uniquely determined using the log-likelihood, we propose two parameter estimation algorithms. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Network coverage prediction is an important aspect of 4G network planning and optimization. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the performance of various machine learning algorithms in predicting 4G network coverage. The data collected includes information on location, signal intensity, topography, and other important variables. Data pre-processing is performed to clean, normalize, and select relevant features. Next, we compared the performance of several machine learning algorithms, including Logistic Regression, KNN, Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree, SVM, XGBoost, AdaBoost, and Bayesian Network Classifier. The model training process is performed using subsets of training, validation, and testing data, with evaluation performed using various evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, RMSE, MAE, and R-squared. The experimental results show that Random Forest stands out with excellent performance, while Naïve Bayes tends to produce lower performance. The conclusion of this study provides valuable insights into the potential applications of machine learning algorithms in predicting 4G network coverage with accuracy and reliability.

When I subjects answer questions regarding J variables K times, the data can be stored in a three-mode data set of size I× J× K. Among the various component analysis approaches to summarize such data, Three-mode Principal Component Analysis (3MPCA) is often used. 3MPCA expresses a three-mode data set by means of A-, B-, and C-mode components and a core array, but this approach is not suitable for predicting data at unobserved time points. To handle this issue, the current study suggests a fixed orthonormal polynomial basis for the 3MPCA model. Briefly, we fix the C-mode component matrix with an orthonormal polynomial basis. More specifically, i) measurement time points, and ii) log transformation of the measurement time points were used as an orthonormal polynomial basis. The use of our proposed methods was demonstrated by applying them to a longitudinal data set collected from patients with depression. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The decline in physical, cognitive, and sensory functions for most elderly people leads to the development of several health issues such as memory loss, a tendency to fall, dizziness, and reduced ability to care for oneself independently. These can be mitigated using devices designed to monitor vital signs and human activity such as a smart band. However, the application of a smart band is characterized by a disadvantage which involves storing user data in the vendor's cloud and only one device can access the client applications. Therefore, nurses, doctors, and family members cannot simultaneously analyze data and receive alerts when abnormal conditions occur in elderly patients. This study aims to develop a system capable of monitoring the health conditions of multiple elderly individuals and sending alerts during abnormal conditions based on the heart rate value read by the smart band sensor. The process involved installing a database on the Raspberry Pi to store data while a monitoring system was built on the Node-RED platform to display elderly health data and made it accessible locally. The detection of an abnormal heart rate condition in the elderly patient leads the system to send notifications via telegram to multiple receivers registered in the system using their telegram identity. © 2022 IEEE.

The purpose of this study was to obtain pie susu mocaf-spirulina products with local fruit varieties (pineapple and Balinese grapes). Mocaf (modified cassava flour) has characteristics similar to low protein flour and gluten free. Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that is considered a super food because of its nutritional properties that are very good for health. The research method includes 1) experimental trials of the formula for mocaf spirulina pie susu, in the variation of the addition of spirulina to the formulation of mocaf pie susu 2) conduct an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using the Visual Analog Score (VAS) for the Hedonic test (preference) 3) Perform an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using VAS for the Hedonic Quality test (quality). The results showed: 1) obtained a pastry formulation (skin) of mocaf pie susu with the addition of 2.5 gr of spirulina (0.5% of the weight of the ingredients) ained mocaf pie susu formulation with the addition of 2.5gr spirulina to mocaf pie susu with pineapple and grape vla;2) The level of preference for mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is the color of the likes category, the texture of the likes, the aroma of the likes and the taste of the likes. 3) the quality level of mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is greenish color, crunchy texture, pastry fragrant aroma and sweet taste. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Decision making in an organization is needed a system. Decision support system is a system that helps company management and education in decision making that provides information, modeling and analyzing data with the application of a method. The management, especially higher education, must maximize sophisticated technology. For example, to analyze scholarship data. Problems are found in manual data analysis so that human errors often occur in addition to using more time than the target, losing old data, resulting in inaccurate analysis of scholarship sustainability every semester. The research was conducted to overcome the problems that have been found by analyzing the existing data with the simple additive weighting method, building a system by applying the method and testing the system. The result of this research is to produce an application for the development of a decision support system in managing student data to determine the sustainability of the scholarship every semester. Applications that are built can help the management in managing scholarships.

Border and Inland areas are often faced with communication problems due to limited infrastructure and extreme geographical conditions. This research has produced three APRS-based communication system devices in border and inland areas that can be used to report emergency positions, namely Tracker, Digipeater, and Internet Gateway (IGate). Two APRS testing scenarios were conducted, namely sending beacons from Tracker and Ground Station, and sending beacons from Tracker, Digipeater, and Ground Station. The first scenario test results recorded a maximum distance of 2.36 kilometers (straight line) for sending and receiving information. Meanwhile, the second scenario test results can send and receive information with a maximum distance of 4.21 kilometers (straight line). This result confirms that the range of sending information signals using the digipeater device can expand the range of receiving information up to two times. Based on these results, the second scenario between Tracker, Digipeater, and Ground Station is more effectively used to increase communication coverage in border and inland areas.

The fragmentation of health information systems has hindered seamless data exchange in healthcare services, posing challenges in achieving efficient, real-time access to patient health data. This study addresses these issues by evaluating the implementation of a semi-real-time transcription system using a distributed architecture with a message broker to enhance the documentation of clinical examination processes in primary health services. The research focuses on assessing the feasibility of this approach by measuring key performance indicators such as latency and word error rate (WER) during clinical conversation transcription. Audio recordings were segmented into shorter fragments to simulate real-time transcription, and data transmission was conducted through the Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP). The findings demonstrate that the average latencys achieved by semi-real-time transcription system is 7.7s, indicating its potential suitability for clinical documentation applications that do not require strict real-time processing. However, glitches observed in the message broker's forwarding mechanism suggest the need for further optimization to ensure consistent performance. Future work aims to develop strategies to minimize transcription errors, enhance reliability, and improve the overall integration of this system in healthcare settings. This study contributes to the advancement of health information systems by offering architecture into scalable and effective methods for semi-real-time data transcription and interoperability.
