Aims this study to analyze rehabilitation exercises using sensor data embedded in smartphones is widely used to recognize human activities regularly to gain a better understanding of human behavior. However, it is rarely used to measure accelerators of patient movement in hospital wards. This paper proposes an optimized neural network-based feature extraction approach based on the Long Short Term Memory technique to recognize human activity using data from a tri-axial accelerometer. The activity to be measured is the Range of Motion for patient rehabilitation, and rehabilitation exercises are one of the most important steps for recovery. The results of the softmax regression trained on the dataset set have 1, 076, 105 records and 12 class attributes (class distribution). The experimental results on the SAR dataset show that our Long Short Term Memory-based approach is practical and successful, with an accuracy of 89.74%. © 2021 IEEE.

With the successful development of artificial intelligence (AI), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) occupy a large amount of computing time and power consumption in the entire AI computing process. However, in traditional von Neumann architectures, the separation of the computing element and memory leads to the memory-wall problem of memory data transmission bandwidth from memory to processing element when executing multiply-accumulate-based CNN operations. The data transmission time and power consumption all are much higher than the CNN computing part. Therefore, this paper proposes a memory-in-computation design that can flexibly adjust energy usage, achieve high energy efficiency, and support multiple operation frequencies. By controlling the switches of each memory row, unnecessary energy consumption is avoided, leading to a reduction in total power consumption by 15% to 60%. Additionally, by adjusting the pulse width, the charging power consumption of capacitors is reduced by 65% per charge cycle.

Electronic devices and appliances have become quintessential part of households with the recent development and integration of a home automation system with numerous client modules, including a remote mobile host controller, as in offices, home appliances etc.. Through Bluetooth, the client modules communicate with the host controller such as an Android smart phone. This paper presents a prototype can be implemented in practice with maximum efficiency keeping the security feature in mind. © 2023 IEEE.

The problem of flooding in Central Vietnam in general and the lower Ba River in particular is one of the natural disasters that frequently threatens people's lives and socioeconomic development in the ***,climate change is becoming ever more prominent and hotter,making extreme natural disasters more unusual and *** this research,MIKE-FLOOD—a model that connects a 1-dimensional(1-D)MIKE 11 Hydrodynamics(HD)model with a 2-dimensional(2-D)MIKE 21 HD model—was used to set *** model was calculated for three floods:(1)flood in October 1993,(2)flood in November 2003,and(3)flood in November 2007;these are floods with high frequency and relatively large *** results show that the 1993 flood rose and receded *** flood peak inundated an area of 22,600 ha,accounting for 52%of the natural *** flooded areas deeper than 1,2,3,4,and 5m were 16500,11,000,7000,4200,and 2200 ha,*** the center of Tuy Hoa city,the flooded area at the time of maximum water level was almost 100%.

The potential for future energy crises is a problem the world is currently facing. Many countries are switching from fossil to renewable energy to prevent an energy crisis. One of the most developed renewable energy today is solar energy. Easy installation makes solar energy installation not only on a large scale but also on a home scale. Urban areas will be very suitable for building solar photovoltaic (PV) roofs due to minimal open areas. In installing rooftop solar PV, sound planning is needed to predict the energy potential that can be provided by solar energy on the rooftop of a building. Spatial modeling can be done to determine the energy potential and suitable location for rooftop solar PV installation. In building rooftop solar PV modeling, the level of detail of the building will affect the results of the model. The rooftop's shape and the building's height will affect the amount of solar radiation going into the building. However, the higher the level of detail of the building, the higher the cost and processing time will be. This study will review the differences in modeling the potential of rooftop solar PV using different levels of detail. This research will integrate solar radiation data from remote sensing to determine the energy potential of solar radiation and digital surface model data from photogrammetry to create a level of detail for buildings. Integration of solar radiation data and the level of detail of the building will use hillshade analysis. Hillshade analysis can review the shadow effect on the rooftop of a building which will be directly related to the potential of solar energy on the rooftop of the building. This study determines the energy potential on the rooftop of the building with different levels of detail, namely 0, 1, and actual shape, to determine the difference in energy potential in the three scenarios. Looking forward to the abovementioned conditions, this research is needed to elaborate on the effects of the reclamation to the marine resources in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal as the reclaimed product. In order to describe the impact of the port development, this study will analyze the shoreline changing, the current pattern modeling, as well as the Total Suspended Solid (TSS) modeling using the remote sensing data. The several numbers of expected objectives through this study are to get the set of scientific information on the shoreline changing in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020, to get the figure of current pattern in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020, and to elaborate TSS concentration through the modeling approach in Teluk Lamong Multipurpose Port Terminal in the year of 2012 and 2020. Hence, there is a set of methodologies and tools to cooperate with the information before and after the reclamation. The use of the Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) software to analyze coastline conditions. The using of Mike 21 to analyze the current pattern and TSS concentrations. In addition to the TSS analysis, it will also need a set of remote sensing data from the Google Earth Engine (GEE). The modeling and calculation give information about the End Point Rate (EPR) values and TSS values. The EPR values are 107.5 m/year, 59,625 m/year and 10,375 m / year. The TSS values are 0-20 mg/L, 20.1-40 mg/L, 40.1-80 mg/L, 80.1-120 mg/L and >120.1 mg/L. Moreover, the result shows the different values among the length of coastline, the current pattern, and TTS in the years 2012 and 2020. The difference in the coastline reaches 950 m at this latest 8 years. While it also brings the changing to the current pattern and sediment transport which show through its current velocity and sediment content per liter of seawater during high and low tide accordingly. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing

Objectives: Ultraviolet (UV) exposure can hasten the aging process of the skin. The use of chemicals for anti-aging has long-term adverse effects. The natural ingredients of snake fruit (Salacca zalacca L.) are known to have bioactive properties such as polyphenols, flavonoids, chlorogenic acid, and caffeic acid which have antiaging potential. The study aims to ascertain the potential of S. zalacca Extract (SZE) as an antiaging agent by in vitro assay. Methods: The SZE compound content was analyzed by LC-MS/MS. SZE viability test on human skin fibroblast (BJ) cells was carried out using the WST assay. BJ cells were UV-induced as a cell model of premature aging. SZE 6.25, 12.5, and 25 μg/mL were administered to UV-induced BJ cells. The gene expression of COL1A1, MMP-1, FGF-2, and GPX-1 were analyzed by quantitative Real-Time PCR. Elastin (ELN), Hyaluronidase (HAse), Cyclooxigenase-2 (COX-2), 8-Hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), and Melatonin (MT) protein levels were analyzed by ELISA assay. The apoptosis of BJ cells was analyzed using flow cytometry. One-way ANOVA in SPSS Software was used for statistical analysis. Results: Treatment with SZE increased COL1A1, FGF-2, and GPX-1 gene expression and also decreased MMP-1 gene expression. SZE also increased ELN and MT levels in UV-induced BJ cells. After SZE treatment, the protein levels of HAse, COX-2, and 8-OHdG decreased compared to the positive control. SZE also succeeded in maintaining the lives of BJ cells and reducing apoptosis in BJ cells. Conclusions: SZE has the potential to be an antiaging agent by in vitro assay. © 2025 The Authors

This study provides an initial exploration and further understanding of the factors that are parameters in evaluating the success of Enterprise Architecture (EA) implementation. An evaluation process is needed to ensure that the EA project implementation provides effectiveness, efficiency, and feasibility of the EA information system as well as assessing previous project experience to avoid future EA project risks. The research aims to present a Systematic Literature Review based on the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion so that 14 main articles are selected for review with strong actual relevance. The study results provide insights and references that can be used to further explore key factors in evaluating the success of EA implementation in the future. It was found that there were ten factors that most influenced the evaluation of the success of EA implementation and it was concluded that two potential factors were the most influential and required further exploration in evaluating the success of EA implementation which could be applied in various sectors/dimensions. This study contributes as an initial reference for overcoming problems in investigating and exploring the factors that influence the success of EA implementation as an effort to assess the success of achieving future organizational goals.

The use of automated goods transfer robots, capable of autonomously moving items from one point to another without the need for manual operation, is widely adopted in various industries. The Waypoint GPS navigation method can be employed in developing an automated goods transfer robot. This research focuses on the design and development of a robot using two Global Positioning System (GPS) coordinates for navigation and a smartphone as the user interface, equipped with ultrasonic sensors as input. The main components utilized in this robot include the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller, neo-7M GPS module, HC-06 Bluetooth module, SR-04 sensor, and omni-directional wheels. The position data is obtained by converting the two GPS coordinates into distance and direction values. These values are further translated into Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signals, which are used to drive the robot's motors. To avoid collision, fuzzy logic is employed to regulate the PWM signals. The research results demonstrate that the robot can autonomously navigate from one point to another based on the provided coordinates while effectively avoiding obstacles. The findings of this study address a research gap in the application of the Waypoint GPS navigation method for goods transfer robots. The purpose of this research is to design and develop a robot that can autonomously transfer goods using the proposed method. The methodology involves the integration of GPS coordinates, smartphone interface, ultrasonic sensors, and motor control mechanisms. The results indicate successful navigation from the origin to the desired destination, following the specified coordinates, and obstacle avoidance capability. In conclusion, the developed robot utilizing the Waypoint GPS navigation method showcases promising potential for automated goods transfer applications.
