This paper explores PentaPod, an invention in concrete armor units developed to protect coastal areas from damage caused by waves and currents. Until now, there hasn't been an armor unit intentionally designed to enhance its stability through connections with neighboring units. PentaPod provides a novel perspective, suggesting that the stability of armor units can be significantly improved not only by having substantial weight and effective interlocking but also by securely connecting them to each other. With this in mind, PentaPod concrete armor can be installed in a random or regular manner without the need for fasteners. Alternatively, it can also be installed regularly in layers with fasteners. Compared to conventional concrete armor installations, the overall stability of structures is significantly improved with interconnected PentaPod, either partially or entirely. In this paper, the results of testing the Stability Coefficient (Kd) for two variations of armor, namely PentaCone and PentaOcta, tested in a Wave Tank are also presented. The objective of this testing is to ascertain the stability coefficient for both variations of armor when installed randomly or regularly without any tying involved. The PentaPod arrangement allows for the implementation of both Grey Protection (using concrete armor) and Green Protection (conservation of mangrove areas) simultaneously, showcasing its versatility and integrated approach to coastal protection. © 2024, The Authors. The purpose of this research is to know the growth rate and biomass production of Scenedesmus obliquus in palm oil mill effluent (POME) medium taken from aerobic pond and to know the lipid concentration produced by S. obliquus. In this research, S. obliquus was cultured in various POME concentration, those were 20, 60, 80, 90, 95, and 100% v/v, while the concentration of inoculum was 30% v/v, and fatty acid content was analysed by gas chromatography. The results revealed that growth rate was decrease with the increasing concentration of POME (0.3545, 0.1792, 0.1566, 0.1268, 0.1158, and 0.1008/day), dry biomass weight was increase with the increasing concentration of POME (0.40, 1.20, 1.30, 1.77, 2.28, and 2.45 g/L), and lipid content also tended to increase with the increasing concentration of POME (13.10%, 36.59%, 36.65%, 50.37%, 60.40%, and 64.98%). Oleic acid and behenic acid were the dominant fatty acid content in S. obliquus lipid cultured in 100% concentration POME media. It is concluded that aerobic-pond POME can be utilized as growth medium for S. obliquus with a high lipid content. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The research objective of this is to see how to apply science practicum online using Microsoft Teams and Learning Management System (LMS). The form of this research is classroom action research which aims to apply the online science practicum during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, it is carried out using two cycles in the application of online science practicum. The subjects of this study were students of the seventh semester in the Natural Science practicum course. Through observation and evaluation, it is shown that in the cycle I the percentage of practicum implementation which includes aspects of preparation, process and data and practicum results is 87.5%, in cycle II it has increased to 92.5%. In the assessment aspect of the practicum report, the average practicum assessment obtained in the first cycle was 3.09 from the highest score of 4 and in the second cycle was 3.7, while the aspect of student knowledge about the use of the Microsoft team which was taken using google form was 93%. In the aspect of student knowledge about the use of Learning Management System (LMS) by 75% and aspects of student understanding in the implementation of online science practicum using Microsoft Teams by 75%. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. The covid-19 pandemic case has changed the structure of life in all aspects throughout the world. The field of man-made environment or architecture is no exception. The interior arrangement of a building, as part of the man-made environment, is also affected. The interior design of a building today seems to be obliged to participate in following the standards of new health-protocols in the new normal *** about the interior of the building that has already been utilized? Of course it requires further study to find out whether the interior of a building can be said to be healthy or not. This study aims to examine the interior design of the lecturer room E12 building 2nd floor UNNES in terms of health that is emphasized from the behavior of its users by referring to the situation of the covid-19 pandemic and its future prospects. The research method used is by field observations to search visual data, observing user behavior and textual data. Those who are categorized as users of the lecturer room E12 building 2nd floor UNNES are lecturers from the Department of Architecture, students, administrators and guests. The results of this study indicate that based on the pattern of user behavior and associated with the standard requirements of space, area, volume of space, material and infrastructure conditions, interior design of lecturer room E12 building 2nd floor UNNES, is included in healthy category, although there are several minor corrections that can be included as suggestions for improvement in order to adjust to the new normal era during the covid-19 pandemic period and thereafter. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

One of the challenges for small and medium-sized businesses is how to develop marketing targets for the products they produce, this can be done by utilizing information technology. However, based on the records of the Central Bureau of Statistics, most of the education levels of small and medium-sized business actors are elementary school graduates, which is 48% which causes them to not use information technology as a means to expand their product marketing. In this study, researchers conducted trials on the Kalamansi Syrup Business to apply information technology in the form of social media and sales applications such as Shopee, Facebook, Lazada etc. From this application, it is found that there is an increase in the number of customers who are influenced by information from the application of information technology. © 2021 IEEE.

The Cengklik Reservoir is operated for irrigation of rice fields in 3 sub-districts in Boyolali Regency, namely Sambi, Ngemplak, and Nogosari. At the present time, the volume of the Cengklik Reservoir has decreased and resulted in dryness during the dry season. One of the main causes is due to the high sedimentation rate. This research was conducted to evaluate changes in land use that resulted in sedimentation in the Cengklik Reservoir. Erosion prediction in this study uses USLE (Universal Soil Loss Equation) analysis. The amount of sediment obtained uses the standard erosion data from USLE calculations, namely by multiplying the amount of erosion by the SDR and the area of River Basin. The potential for erosion and sedimentation used land use data for 10 years, from 2009 to 2019. Based on the research, the amount of erosion and sedimentation in the Cengklik Reservoir was fluctuated with the highest amount occurring in 2016, with erosion of 9,292 tones/ha/year and sedimentation of 4304,154 tons/year. In general, erosion and sedimentation have increased from 2009 to 2019. The classification of erosion in the Cengklik Reservoir according to this study was categorized as light erosion. The trap efficiency used in this study was calculated using formulae based on the research of Heinemann (1981) using the Brune method for small reservoirs with an area of less than 0.5 km2. In general, based on this study, the Trap Efficiency in Cengklik Reservoir was 95.254%. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

To develop a device which can determine automatically the quality of coffee beans, the module to identify and classify coffee bean defects based on digital images processing is needed. For this reason, a new dataset of coffee bean defect images is built in this research. 3 classes were defined and obtained from the image sample of coffee beans, namely good coffee beans, defective coffee beans, and non-valid coffee beans. Moreover, specifically for the class of defective coffee beans, the new dataset also provides ground truth image samples for 17 classes of coffee bean with defects which was defined by SNI 01-2907-2008. Two Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture models, InceptionResnetV2 and MobileNet, were tested to do an initial benchmarking process to classify coffee beans and their types of defects. Both architectures show very promising results to classify coffee bean images in 3-classes. With 92.52% of accuracy, MobileNet outperforms slightly InceptionResnetV2. Both architectures are fairly easy to classify the 3-classes of coffee bean images. But the experimental results indicate that the task of classifying more specifically the 17 classes of different types of defects in coffee beans is still quite difficult. Although the accuracy of InceptionResnetV2 of 53.35% seems much higher than the accuracy of MobileNet, the two architectures still seem to be struggling to identify each type of coffee bean defect. This benchmarking results will serve as the initial basis that helps to analyze the level of complexity of problems in the coffee bean new dataset, as well as the basis for further investigations and research processes to improve the performance of the future coffee bean classifier machine.

This paper describes the design and implementation of the Ludo game on Microsoft Hololens to create a mixed reality-based application with Hololens technology connected to many services. The Ludo game is made for two players, with player one playing on Hololens and player two sending and receiving player one's data via the console. The Ludo game with Hololens is one of the results of the development of Hololens technology and the RabbitMQ Messaging Server. The Ludo game is made on Visual Studio software using UrhoSharp Framework and RabbitMQ Messaging Server service with the AMQP protocol. As application frameworks, Hololens and UrhoSharp function as devices for visualization and running games. At the same time, the RabbitMQ Messaging Server and AMQP protocol serve as services that connect two players from the Hololens and console by sending the data needed by the application. The test results show that Hololens is running successfully and communicating with other console players. Thus, the results obtained are the purpose of this paper, which is to create a mixed reality-based application with Hololens technology connected to many services.

Introducing passivation molecules has been being considered as one of effective strategies to reduce surface crystal defects and hence improve the performance and stability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). In this paper, we report the effects of organofluorine molecules, specifically trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), added in the ethyl acetate (EA) anti-solvent on the characteristics of MAPbI3 based PSCs, which are related to interfacial surface states, band bending characteristics and charge extraction processes. Anti-solvents with several volume fractions of TFA were used in the perovskite layer deposition step by the spin-coating technique. The current density vs. voltage (J–V) curve hysteresis was suppressed while the PSC stability and the PSC performance repeatability of the fabrication results were much improved in PSC prepared using EA anti-solvent with moderate volume fraction of TFA (i.e. 5% v/v). These PSC samples were also characterized by measurements of impedance photovoltaic spectroscopy (IMVS) and transient photovoltaic (TPV). By performing TPV measurements at various dc light biases, an unusual delayed TPV decay component with a long rise part was observed, especially at PSCs prepared with moderate volume fractions of TFA in EA anti-solvent. The infra-red (FTIR) spectroscopy and X-ray Photoemission Spectroscopy (XPS) data showed that TFA removed uncoordinated or weakly bonded MA+ cations and I− anions at the NCs surface but leaving the accumulation of Pb2+ cations on the surface. This condition causes the formation of surface states leading to a downward band bending at the MAPbI3/HTL interface, which is responsible to the observation this delayed TPV decay component. However, this situation improves the PSC performance by minimizing the effect from mobile ion migration. These present measurement results thus clearly&
