The high performance of IoT technology in transportation networks has led to the increasing adoption of Internet of Vehicles(IoV)*** functional advantages of IoV include online communication services,accident prevention,cost reduction,and enhanced traffic *** these benefits,IoV technology is susceptible to cyber-attacks,which can exploit vulnerabilities in the vehicle network,leading to perturbations,disturbances,non-recognition of traffic signs,accidents,and vehicle *** paper reviews the state-of-the-art achievements and developments in applying Deep Transfer Learning(DTL)models for Intrusion Detection Systems in the Internet of Vehicles(IDS-IoV)based on anomaly ***-IoV leverages anomaly detection through machine learning and DTL techniques to mitigate the risks posed by *** systems can autonomously create specific models based on network data to differentiate between regular traffic and *** these techniques,transfer learning models are particularly promising due to their efficacy with tagged data,reduced training time,lower memory usage,and decreased computational *** evaluate DTL models against criteria including the ability to transfer knowledge,detection rate,accurate analysis of complex data,and *** review highlights the significant progress made in the field,showcasing how DTL models enhance the performance and reliability of IDS-IoV *** examining recent advancements,we provide insights into how DTL can effectively address cyber-attack challenges in IoV environments,ensuring safer and more efficient transportation networks.

Fully integrated Windows framework for source localization with MNE Python and FreeSurfer

There is a variety of software packages, toolboxes, or libraries for the analysis and processing of neurophysiological data such as EEG and MEG. Many of these solutions provide algorithms for both, sensor-space analysis and sourcespace analysis. Especially with the solutions that run on Windows machines, it is noticeable that the step of the volume model generation is usually not included, since the state-ofthe- art software for this (FreeSurfer) is a Unix-based software and thus not available forWindows machines. Therefore, our goal was to develop a fully-integrated software solution for Windows machines, accessing all processing steps already implemented in an existing toolbox and using FreeSurfer in the same system. Due to its widespread use, we chose MNE Python as the basis for our fully integrated software solution. We used the Windows Subsystem for Linux to create a virtual Linux kernel for the FreeSurfer installation. To demonstrate the workflow, the libeep, and AutoReject libraries have been added. A 64-channel EEG recording during right-hand movement (ME) and imagination (MI) was used to test the implemented workflow. The developed framework consists of several modules within Python, mainly using existing scripts and functions. The library libeep was integrated to read the EEG data with the '.cnt', eeprope format. AutoReject was used to automatically interpolate detected bad channels or to reject complete epochs. FreeSurfer was successfully integrated and customized Python scripts enabled the communication between MNE Python on a Windows machine and FreeSurfer on a virtual Linux kernel. With the above-mentioned EEG dataset, we performed source reconstruction and were able to show ERD/S patterns for both, ME and MI. Our new, fullyintegrated software framework can be used on Windows machines to perform a complete process of source reconstruction. © 2023 the author(s), published by Walter de Gruyter Berlin/Boston.

The Steam platform releases thousands of games almost every week, providing customers with many options, which require various considerations to make a purchase decision. Steam has features that can help consumers consider purchasing games, such as the help dashboard that provides information on game reviews and ratings. However, based on user input reviews, game ratings are still manual, which may cause human error and inaccurate results. To help gamers get the desired game information and increase customer purchasing power towards available games, sentiment analysis is one technique for classifying opinions. This study focuses on sentiment analysis of game reviews, which will result in classification into two classes, positive and negative. It will be measured for its performance based on the f1 score evaluation results. The proposed model that we created is to compare sentiment analysis models using the baseline Bi-directional Long-short Term Memory (BiLSTM), Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit (BiGRU), and fine-tuning Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformer (BERT). We then propose another model, BiLSTM-CRF, by examining the effect of using the last four hidden states of BERT and comparing it with the last one hidden state of BERT to be used in the BiLSTM-CRF model. Based on the results of sentiment analysis models we developed for the ten most reviewed games on Steam, the BiLSTM model combined with CRF on the last four hidden states yielded the best performance, with an Fl score of 95.2 %. This score exceeds the baseline transformer-based model's Fl score of 88.0%. This is because combining BiLSTM and CRF allows the log-likelihood of the BiLSTM emission sample to be obtained more accurately so the model does not lose its context. © 2023 IEEE.

The integration of human resources and artificial intelligence has shown a growing interest in automatically predicting personality traits, particularly in recruitment. To contribute to this field, we propose a new method to assist human resource professionals in Indonesia to identify candidates' personality traits. Biases come from personality tests due to their question format and susceptibility to manipulation on this research, we propose an approach that combines personality tests using the BFI form, which measures OCEAN personality traits, with personality trait predictions derived from Twitter data. This research aims to create a personality prediction model and system that efficiently and effectively screens candidate personality traits in human resources. This research has developed a novel model that combines personality test results with tweets personality prediction with an impressive F1-macro performance of 98%. © 2023 IEEE.

The BART model is an advanced adaptation of transformers introduced by Facebook. It has incorporated elements from both BERT and GPT transformers, enabling significant advancements in language understanding and general speech processing. Utilizing both encoder and decoder components, BART proves versatile for various tasks, including translation, text completion, automatic sentence generation, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and more. In this study, we focus on the study of pretrained models, BART and a modified version called distilbart, in the context of Zero-Shot Text Classification. In the experimental study we dive into the Zero-Shot technique applied to various pretrained Transformers. Our analysis demonstrates that, depending on the Model we utilize, we can achieve F1 scores of up to 88%, showcasing the model's effectiveness in discerning classes for this Sentiment Analysis problem using the Zero-Shot Text Classification technique. © 2023 IEEE.

Disentangling Prosody Representations With Unsupervised Speech Reconstruction

Human speech can be characterized by different components, including semantic content, speaker identity and prosodic information. Significant progress has been made in disentangling representations for semantic content and speaker identity in speech recognition and speaker verification tasks respectively. However, it is still an open challenging question to extract prosodic information because of the intrinsic association of different attributes, such as timbre and rhythm, and because of the need for supervised training schemes to achieve robust speech recognition. The aim of this article is to address the disentanglement of emotional prosody based on unsupervised reconstruction. Specifically, we identify, design, implement and integrate three crucial components in our proposed model Prosody2Vec: (1) a unit encoder that transforms speech signals into discrete units for semantic content, (2) a pretrained speaker verification model to generate speaker identity embeddings, and (3) a trainable prosody encoder to learn prosody representations. We first pretrain Prosody2Vec on unlabelled emotional speech corpora, then fine-tune the model on specific datasets to perform Speech Emotion Recognition (SER) and Emotional Voice Conversion (EVC) tasks. Both objective and subjective evaluations on the EVC task suggest that Prosody2Vec effectively captures general prosodic features that can be smoothly transferred to other emotional speech. In addition, our SER experiments on the IEMOCAP dataset reveal that the prosody features learned by Prosody2Vec are complementary and beneficial for the performance of widely used speech pretraining models and surpass the state-of-the-art methods when combining Prosody2Vec with HuBERT representations. In today’s Internet-centric world, two main challenges have arisen regarding data exploration: a) the privacy of sensitive data and b) the need for users to have an efficient way to manage their data. Cloud computing offers a cost-effective way towards direct data storage and access, which can function as a catalyst to modernize and update legacy systems. Although cloud computing provides efficient dynamic storage space, data security remains a concern. To this end, we propose a novel design and implementation of an application that enables secure storage of personal data in the cloud through a complete homomorphic encryption system. The application is named "SHeMed", which stands for Secure Homomorphic encryption on Medical cloud data. We have concentrated on the secure storage of medical data for breast cancer patients to ensure patients’ data privacy and prevent unauthorized access. With the introduction of homomorphic encryption in the core of this application, we achieve four significant milestones regarding the secure "sealing" of data privacy: a) the user does not share the private key with the cloud provider, b) the user can proceed with implementing mathematical operations on encrypted data, c) cloud can be easily scaled and provide a convenient way to store data, d) after the implementation of mathematical operations, the new processed data may be shared with other users, mainly doctors, without providing the original ones. Our design implies that our users will need to retrieve their patient’s data just once. In this paper, we present a case study of our application that utilizes homomorphic encryption to eliminate the burden of preserving data confidentiality in the cloud and enable a convenient analysis of medical data through computations on encrypted data. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In the shape analysis community,decomposing a 3D shape intomeaningful parts has become a topic of interest.3D model segmentation is largely used in tasks such as shape deformation,shape partial matching,skeleton extraction,shape correspondence,shape annotation and texture *** approaches have attempted to provide better segmentation solutions;however,the majority of the previous techniques used handcrafted features,which are usually focused on a particular attribute of 3Dobjects and so are difficult to *** this paper,we propose a three-stage approach for using Multi-view recurrent neural network to automatically segment a 3D shape into visually meaningful *** first stage involves normalizing and scaling a 3D model to fit within the unit sphere and rendering the object into different *** viewpoints,on the other hand,might not have been associated,and a 3D region could correlate into totally distinct outcomes depending on the *** address this,we ran each view through(shared weights)CNN and Bolster block in order to create a probability boundary *** Bolster block simulates the area relationships between different views,which helps to improve and refine the *** stage two,the feature maps generated in the previous step are correlated using a Recurrent Neural network to obtain compatible fine detail responses for each ***,a layer that is fully connected is used to return coherent edges,which are then back project to 3D objects to produce the final *** on the Princeton Segmentation Benchmark dataset show that our proposed method is effective for mesh segmentation tasks.

In this paper, we present an efficient design of a shield called Parameterized Shield which allows for easy modification of its requirement parameters in response to the changes in the environment instead of manually making many shields during the development time and changing the whole shield during runtime. We propose to generate one proper shield that has many requirement parameters where even when there is any complex situation, there is not any need for extra effort from engineers to develop additional requirements and prepare the shield but only the parameters need to be changed when there is a change in the environment which avoids choosing a whole new shield every time an environment change occurs during runtime. And similarity-based adaptation will be used to choose the right parameters for the shield according to the environment with the help of the MAPE-K loop framework and reinforcement learning and to give the appropriate policy for the agent to act according to that environment. We will demonstrate using a cleaning robot as an example. © 2023 IEEE.
