The new generation of 5G networks, compared to 4G networks, is a very important example of change in achieving very high frequencies in the carrier with huge bandwidth, high densities with a huge number of antennas and improved quality of services, making effective interference management necessary. In this paper, we present the contribution of the Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) scheme to improving the performance of 5G networks. We refer to the technique of sequential interference cancellation applied to some NOMA formats, compare NOMA and Orthogonal Multiple Access (OMA) formats in terms of the capabilities they offer users and NOMA's significant contribution to Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology and compare three basic NOMA formats in three different resource and user reporting scenarios. Finally, we present the results of the simulations of the above comparisons and analyze the contribution of each scheme to the improvement of the system performance. and copy;2021 IEEE. © 2021 IEEE computer Society. The security guard profession is no longer a profession that only relies on the physical but also other aspects, such as attitude, leadership, language, and others. There are several problems faced by companies providing security guards, namely the demand for security personnel is quite high, the number of applicants is also large, but the selection process has to go through an administrative and interview process. With a limited number of interviewers, it takes a longer time to get the selection results. Interview results also tend to be more subjective, making it difficult to determine which candidates are under the company's criteria and specifications. This study aims to develop a decision support system for selecting the acceptance of new outsourced security guards using the MOORA method for a security guard service provider company, namely PT. Purba Alter Service. There are 19 criteria used in the selection of security guards. This research developed the system on a web-based using the MOORA method for calculating the selection of alternative security guards. By comparing the results of the selection system processing using the MOORA method with the results of the previous three years without a system, of the 14 alternative names tested, 12 names appeared in both results, and obtained 85.7% accuracy. The result shows that the MOORA method is successfully implemented in selecting security personnel.

To directly investigate the dynamic nanoscale phenomenon on the surface being processed in wet conditions such as precision polishing, and cleaning in semiconductor industrial, an optical method for visualization and observation of each sub-100 nm sized particle that is moving on an interface such as a silica glass surface by applying an evanescent field have been proposing. Subsequently, we developed an experimental apparatus equipped with an optical microscopy system for verifying the moving particle observation method in a laboratory scale. This article introduces some experimentally direct observation results of duplicated wet processes. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper discusses the coordination system of two mobile robots when working together to complete a task. The system is built using a realistic 3D simulator called V-REP, where the two robot models in the simulator are controlled using two separated API-based programs in the same computer that are developed under Robotic Operating System (ROS) framework. The two program modules carry out the function of controlling navigation and communication. The two modules are connected to each other using a socket data communication model that has been packaged in a ROS node. Based on the results of the experiments that have been carried out, the two robots can work together well to complete the given tasks. © 2021 IEEE.

Diphtheria is a serious infectious disease induced by the Corynebacterium Diphtheriae bacteria and often causes outbreaks (extraordinary events) in various regions. Based on data from the Ministry of Health, East Java is the biggest benefactor to diphtheria cases in Indonesia. Diphtheria cases in East Java tend to increase, especially in 2018 there were 753 diphtheria cases in 38 districts. Efforts made to prevent, treat, and control diphtheria outbreaks by the government are to analyze the level of susceptibility to diphtheria. This paper proposes a new approach to analyze the level of diphtheria susceptibility using the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) and natural breaks classification in East Java Province, Indonesia. AHP method is used to obtain diphtheria susceptibility values based on seven criteria, such as the number of sufferers, number of deaths, DPT 1, DPT 2, DPT 3 immunization, population density, and humidity. Natural break classification is used to classify the vulnerability values from AHP into three levels of vulnerability, consisting of low, medium, and high. The results of the grouping are displayed in the form of spatial mapping in the form of a web-based geographic information system (web-GIS) on the determination of the diphtheria vulnerability level using the AHP-natural breaks classification. The GVF evaluation for 2016, 2017, and 2018 are respectively 0.66, 0.67, and 0.65 (more than 0.5), which means that the proposed method achieved accurate and significant classification. Spatial-temporal analysis for 2013-2018 also achieves accurate and significant with a GVF value of 0.77. The spatial-temporal analysis can predict the high potential for vulnerability. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper presents the development of a system for recognizing types of food materials and measuring their quality visually using a camera. The food material can be in the form of meat, vegetables, fruits and other processed food materials such as tempeh and tofu. We build a food material recognition system using YOLOv3-tiny, and measure the quality of food ingredients using the Weber Local Descriptor (WLD) feature which is then classified using the Support Vector Machine (SVM). Based on the results of experiments that have been carried out, the results of the recognition of food materials using YOLOv3-tiny reached 82.02% and the performance of food quality measurement results using WLD-SVM reached 83.33%. © 2021 IEEE.

The recent surge in mobile traffic has increasingly underscored the importance of Edge AI. The Edge Server (ESs) in Edge AI facilitate precise traffic prediction by collecting regional data and analyzing the characteristics and traffic patterns of adjacent areas. However, existing Edge AI systems for mobile traffic prediction are limited by their reliance on physical proximity for regional selection, failing to effectively leverage the unique infrastructure and lifestyle patterns of each area. This study proposes a novel Edge AI mobile traffic prediction architecture that overcomes the performance limitations of traditional methods by integrating multi Temporal Convolutional Networks-Long Short Term Memory (TCN-LSTM) with clustering techniques that reflect regional characteristics. The proposed approach is unconstrained by distances between regions, hence maximally utilizing unique features of each area. Furthermore, by incorporating Federated Learning (FL), this study significantly reduces the computational load, optimizing the model for real-world applications. The effectiveness of this model is validated across various Edge AI scenarios of different sizes, demonstrating a performance improvement of approximately 30% in Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) compared to conventional Edge AI system.

Metamorphic testing is a testing method for problems without test oracles. Integration testing allows for detecting errors in complex systems that may not be found during the testing of their components. In this paper, we propose a novel approach that applies metamorphic testing in integration testing. The main idea is to develop a composite metamorphic relation for the system represented as an acyclic graph. This relation is a logical function of metamorphic relations for the parts of the system (vertices of the graph). It takes into account the features of the parts. Also, it can simplify the search for failure by identifying the subsystem with error. In this paper's theoretical part, we describe an algorithm of relation design. Then, we apply our method to a bioinformatics system for comparative genetic analysis of tissues using production tools. This experiment proves our method can be applied to real-life pipelines and find errors in them. © 2022 ACM.

The BART model is an advanced adaptation of transformers introduced by Facebook. It has incorporated elements from both BERT and GPT transformers, enabling significant advancements in language understanding and general speech processing. Utilizing both encoder and decoder components, BART proves versatile for various tasks, including translation, text completion, automatic sentence generation, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and more. In this study, we focus on the study of pretrained models, BART and a modified version called distilbart, in the context of Zero-Shot Text Classification. In the experimental study we dive into the Zero-Shot technique applied to various pretrained Transformers. Our analysis demonstrates that, depending on the Model we utilize, we can achieve F1 scores of up to 88%, showcasing the model's effectiveness in discerning classes for this Sentiment Analysis problem using the Zero-Shot Text Classification technique.
