This article presents a miniaturized size Microstrip-patch sensor structure based on meander-line slot for water-quality and salinity measurement applications. The HFSS-software tool is employed to design and simulate the proposed sensor. The proposed sensor is printed on 60× 50× 1mm3 a dielectric material of FR-4 type. The meander-line slot resonator is inserted in the patch-sensor for miniaturize with the sensitivity enhancement. In order to contain the water sample that wants to be tested, a receptacle with dimensions of 47.75× 50× 4mm3 is mounted on the sensor structure. The receptacle is made from PTFE-Teflon dielectric material. The miniaturize sensor is noticed resonant at 2.74 GHz for unloaded-state. Furthermore, it's found resonant at;2.44 GHz, 2.49 GHz, and 2.5 GHz for DI-water, fresh-water and sea-water respectfully. The miniaturized-sensor is showed good sensing values that equals to 0.901 for DI-water, 0.751 for fresh-water, and 0.721 for Sea-water. Finally, a good agreement is showed between the measurement results and those from simulation. © 2023 IEEE.

Vehicular Ad Hoc Network (VANET) is the ad hoc wireless technology which uses vehicle nodes connected with each other’s to form a network. The basic function of this network is providing a connection between vehicles to enable the transmission of data. Security is an important issue that must be provided by VANETs. Moreover, one of the most challenges of this network is their vulnerability of security since it has a large number with high speed of vehicles which may lead it to lay under different types of security attacks. Attacks of the network layer can be classified based on routing operation phase. One of the most widely used routing protocols is Ad Hoc on Demands Distance Vector (AODV). AODV is a reactive routing protocol, which is established to make connection between nodes only as required. This research aims to eliminate the effect of attacks and improve the performance of AODV in VANET. Three types of network layer attacks were used to examine their effect on VANET (blackhole, flooding, and rushing attacks). In addition to proposing the combination of more than one type of routing attacks at the same time to show their effect on AODV in VANET, we also proposed the use of AntNet algorithm to eliminate the effect of attacks. The simulation results show that the blackhole attack has a higher effect on AODV compared with the flooding and rushing attacks. The proposed combination of attacks on network showed a high damage on its performance compared with using individual network attacks on AODV in VANET. Simulation results also show various AntNet algorithm efficiencies in the improvement of VANET performance under network attacks. They show in this research that the AntNet has higher efficiency in reducing blackhole attack effect with 29.83%, then, with rushing attack, the percentage of enhancement is 16.82%, and with flooding attack, AntNet has the lowest enhancement efficiency with value of 9.04%. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Na

Several years ago, an unknown person / group proposed the coined term Bitcoin, described how the innovation of the blockchain, a peer-to-peer correlated structure, could be used to shed light on the issue of maintaining order of exchanges and maintaining a strategic distance from the issue of double spending. Bitcoin orders are exchanged and combined into a structure of limited size called squares that share the same timestamp. Arrangement axes (miners) are keen to connect the pieces to each other in chronological order, as each block has a hash of the previous square to form the blockchain. In this way, the blockchain architecture oversees the containment of a robust and auditable registry for all exchanges. The objective of this paper is to investigate how blockchain innovation can be utilized in digital payment of drug purchase supply chains. we chose this zone to center on, since it is exceptionally dependent on believe, contracts, arrangements, overseeing, human interaction and installments through a third party. Item forging, generation and dissemination issues, robberies and fraudulent drugs cause multi-billion-dollar income misfortunes within the world and posture a serious threat to open wellbeing Blockchain innovation can tremendously move forward execution in all these zones and diminish the chance of the issues. © 2022 IEEE.

Image quality can be increased to achieve the best imperceptibility without losing its robustness which is one of the benefits of using optimal schema as the process of embedding secret messages originating from PSO. The proposed technology uses improved SLT transient localization as an improved version of discrete wavelet transform (DWT). In addition, SLT is a multi-line component, and SLT uses zero moment, which is a better signal amplifier than DWT and discrete cosine transform (DCT). PSO is a popular optimization technique and is used to balance failure with success, because PSO increases the weight in the embedding process. As we know that SLT and PSO have been used by researchers for watermarks, this paper is used to examine the potential of SLT–PSO to be understood without compromising its power. Internet technology is used in Business Intelligence (BI) and continues to provide centralized control assistance with knowledge from many structured and unstructured information sources. Business intelligence's interrelated limits are complicated, pricey, and restrictive. Resources from cloud computing with cost-effective performance and scalability can be used to upgrade existing BI systems and applications to address these issues. Due to rigorous confidentiality, reliability, interoperability requirements, and many dependencies with the other applications, BI systems are often barred from migrating to cloud applications. The paper addresses the obstacles to implementing BI within a cloud infrastructure. It provides the Security and Privacy-related Concerns in Business Intelligence (SPC-BI) framework, which assists decision-makers in considering the impact and privacy, security, costs, and effectiveness of BI structure migrating to network infrastructure. © 2024 IEEE.

Due to the rapid development of information technology and network technology, personal medical data information is increasingly challenged by privacy breaches and security issues at all life cycle stages. In this paper, we analyze the risk patterns of privacy information leakage of personal medical data in the comprehensive lifecycle of medical information in the context of the importance of hospital information system construction and discuss the risk factors of medical data privacy security in hospital information system based on the installation of the vulnerability scanning system, establishment of perfect access control mechanism, installation of the intrusion detection system (IDS) and data backup. The protection strategy of medical data privacy security under the hospital information system is discussed. The change strategy can physically separate the use and storage of patients personal information and use different algorithms to encrypt privacy information hierarchically. The hospital departments protect the security of patients personal privacy information from the source according to the mechanism of hierarchical grading and on-demand access without affecting the hospital business. © 2022 Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science (IAES).

With the advent of the Internet of Things, a world was born in which everything could be uniquely identified and monitored, tracked, and managed by computer programs. Items can self-configure using a predefined communication protocol. Other software programs can be linked to operate together using Message Queue Telemetry Transport Protocol (MQTT) or MQSeries components. Business integration software and middleware are common terms for this category of applications. With its suggested lightweight, easy-to-implement, and lowbandwidth system for billions of smart items, the MQTT protocol offers a wide range of potential applications, including home automation. In order to enhance the power savings in MQservice routing, we presented an intelligent assistant for optimizing routing model. For Internet of Things (IoT) purposes, it introduces an optimal routing model based on optimized hybrid machine learning-based anomaly detection (OHMLA). In order to extend the reach of a network, the offered approach allows Internet of Things devices to make efficient use of energy. To further enhance Intrusion Detection identification and get optimum network selection routes, the moth Salp Swarm technique (SSA) technique is used for the optimized hyperparameters. The model is capable of accurately detecting attacks that result in network congestion, causing delays in connection response and data transfer in IoT network. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a dual-polarization four antennas Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) scheme is proposed. The four elements are arranged over a surface area of 67 139mm2 printed circuit board (PCB) using dielectric substrate FR-4 with epsilon 4.4 and thermal conductivity 0.025. A circular slot radiator is etched in ground plane in order to improve the radiation characteristics. To mitigate the mutual coupling in the proposed MIMO scheme, two rectangular parasitics with one open rib are embedded across square slot radiator. The proposed single antenna model covers a frequency range of 5.81-6.66 GHz at -10dB impedance bandwidth. However, the bandwidth is raised up to 1.47 MHz (5.48-6.95) GHz at -6dB. The results show that -20 dB return losses can be obtained, while -45 dB isolation was achieved for a dual microstrip line. The proposed antenna can be integrated with new smart-mobile devices for future 5G wireless communications. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Over the last decade, the chaotic behaviors of dynamical systems have been extensively explored. Recently, discovering or developing a 2D system of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) capable of exhibiting chaotic dynamical behaviors is an attractive research topic. In this study, a chaotic system with a 2D system of nonsmooth ODEs has been developed. This system is can exhibit chaotic dynamical behaviors. Its main dynamical behaviors, including time-series trajectories, phase portraits of attractors, and equilibria and their stability, have been investigated. The developed system has been verified by an excessive variety of fascinating chaotic behaviors, such as chaotic attractor, symmetry, sensitivity to initial conditions (ICs), fractal dimension, autocorrelation, power spectrum, Lyapunov exponent, and bifurcation diagram. Analytical and numerical simulations are used to study the dynamical behaviors of such a system. The developed system has extreme sensitivity to ICs, a fractal dimension of more than 1.8 and less than 2.05, an autocorrelation fluctuating randomly about an average of zero, a broadband power spectrum, and one positive Lyapunov exponent. The obtained numerical simulation results have proven the capability of the developed 2D system for exciting chaotic dynamical behaviors. © 2022 Autoctonía. Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia. This paper attempts to use machine learning algorithms to estimate the energy consumption of appliances in a smart home environment. This work aims to promote awareness among smart home systems and users about their appliances' energy consumption and guide them toward energy-saving practices. To achieve this, three machine learning algorithms, namely Decision Forest (DF), Boosted Decision Tree (BDT), and Linear Regression (LR), were chosen for regression tasks to estimate the energy consumption of several appliances accurately. The time-series datasets, namely appliance energy prediction datasets, are used for training and testing the algorithms. The Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) methodology, which comprises six processing phases, was employed in this work. The test is performed by utilizing 10-fold cross-validation. The results obtained assess the models' performance in predicting the appliances' energy consumption. The experimental results indicate that the three models exhibit varying degrees of accuracy in predicting energy consumption, as measured by their respective R-squared values. Among the three models, the random forest model exhibited superior performance by achieving the highest R2 values of 0.62 and 0.54 during the training and testing phases, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.
