Acute respiratory infection (ARI) is the most critical disease in forest fire prone areas. The occurrence of forest fires results in a significant increase in infected cases and an increase in the public health burden. Community tries to cover future medical costs due to the ARI outbreak by paying premiums to insurance as a financial burden to anticipate future expenses. The actuarial profession has encouraged actuaries to determine premiums, because when the premiums are relatively high, there is a high probability that healthy policyholders may not choose this option. On the other hand, when the premium is relatively low, the insurer may not be able to collect enough premiums to create a negative reserve, of course, this is not desirable. This study aims to determine the minimum premium based on the dynamics of ARI disease transmission expressed using the S1S2EIR compartment model. We consider the fractional of each compartment as a probability. The minimum premium obtained is expected to guarantee reserves so that it is sufficient to make future claim payments.

Study on the identification and classification of fish is challenging and valuable because of its role in advancing the marine and agricultural fields. This research has benefits interms of monitoring fish populations and ecosystems in a particular area. Furthermore, this research helps monitor fish that are considered threatened or endangered so that it makes iteasier to map prohibited areas for fishing. This research aims to know performance of MobileNetV2 and VGG16 with parameter tuning process by identifying the value of batch size, epoch, learning rate, and optimizer for fish image dataset. The proposed research phase consists of five main stages, including experimental setup, dataset construction, dataset preprocessing, dataset training and modelling and evaluation. As the result, VGG16 obtained the highest accuracy value. For VGG16 without fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 98.07%. For VGG16 with fine-tuning, the testing accuracy is 96.56%.

This Research Full Paper presents a method to select Learning Objects based on students' cognitive profiles, aiming to facilitate the explained content understanding and programming skills improve. STEM approach has favored the programming skills development in Computer Science courses. Due to initial concepts complexity, many students find it difficult to understand this discipline, causing demotivation or course abandonment. We propose a method using Petri Nets formalism to select a Learning Object that addresses the subject being studied. Petri Nets are formal description techniques used to specify competing systems through graphical and mathematical modeling. Intelligent Agents are computer programs created to automate and perform a certain task or direct interaction with student and propose solutions considered appropriate, based on based on knowledge obtained during the interactions. This research uses the Petri Net to create an Intelligent Agent model, which chooses the Learning Object from answers obtained by applying VAK, an educational questionnaire and results obtained shown to be promising and method was well evaluated by students.

This study explores and compares the capability of Gaussian process machine learning (GPML) with time series analysis techniques, which are autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA), seasonal ARIMA (SARIMA) and cubic spline interpolation, in modeling unemployment rate in Malaysia over the period of 1991 to 2022. Six predictive models are developed based on the observations. The predictive performance of each model is quantified using mean absolute error (MAE) and mean squared error (MSE). GPML demonstrated the best predictive model, exhibiting minimal MAE and MSE compared to the time series analysis techniques. The statistical analysis also concluded no significant mean difference between the GPML model and the actual observations, implying a robust predictive model in predicting the unemployment rate in Malaysia.

One major way that people engage in adaptive problem solving is by imitating others’ solutions. Prominent simulation models have found imperfect imitation advantageous, but the interactions between copying amount and other prevalent aspects of social learning strategies have been underexplored. Here, we explore the consequences for a group when its members engage in strategies with different degrees of copying, solving search problems of varying complexity, in different network topologies that affect the solutions visible to each member. Using a computational model of collective problem solving, we demonstrate that the advantage of partial copying is robust across these conditions, arising from its ability to maintain diversity. Partial copying delays convergence generally but especially in globally connected networks, which are typically associated with diversity loss, allowing more exploration of a problem space. We show that a moderate amount of diversity maintenance is optimal and strategies can be adjusted to find that sweet spot.

The heart is undeniably an essential part of the human body system. The heart's missions are to pump blood to the lungs to expel the waste carbon dioxide that resulted from the respiration and pump blood that will deliver oxygen throughout the human body's circulation system. While the blood that carries oxygen being pumped throughout the human body, the heart will provide the oxygen to all cells. Body cells need to use oxygen to get the energy from food through a process called cellular respiration. Monitoring our heartbeat and pulse rate can increase people’s awareness about their heart’s health, motivating, and encouraging people to maintain a healthy eating plan and exercise. This research will be implemented ECG Sensor. The sensor will then send the data to the android application via HC-06 Bluetooth module.
