Drawn upon patient relationship management, this project focuses on increasing effectiveness of weight loss surgery by managing the relationship between patients and physicians through a Web portal. Data collection from bariatric patients and some discussion among physicians and advisory teams provide some basis for Web portal content. Iterations were and will be made based on the collected data from users. Bariatric patients prefer getting information from physicians and online sources;however, they do not use online WLS resources or websites. The content they would like to access is medical information about WLS, then nutrition and exercise. The supports they prefer to obtain are from family, friends and coworkers. This may lead to unsuccessful support group meetings. Suggested either trust or information overload issue needs to be dealt with.

As the big cities grow, it's more necessary the use of cameras for urban traffic monitoring. The increase in the number of vehicles on the streets makes the traffic congestion, one of the largest metropolis problems, even more often to happen. To avoid this kind of issue, this paper proposes a management system by videomonitoring for the urban traffic. And the goal is to identify the vehicles e count them in period of time using Computer Vision and Image Processing techniques.

This paper proposes a two-level feature selection to improves Naïve Bayes with kernel density estimation. The performance of the proposed feature selection is evaluated on question item set based on Bloom's cognitive levels. This two-level feature selection contains of filter and wrapper based feature selection. This paper uses chi square and information gain as the filter based feature selection and forward feature selection and backward feature elimination as the wrapper based feature selection. The result shows that the two-level feature selection improves the Naïve Bayes with kernel density estimation. The combination of chi square and backward feature elimination give more optimal quality than the other combination.

The achievement of different university degrees (from graduate to the specialization, master's and doctoral) usually is related to the development and presentation of research results conducted by an Academic Advisor. However, their finalization or the results may be adversely affected by the lack of identification of risk that may present themselves during the process of construction and development of the research. To minimize these impacts, the present study was based on the alignment and adjustment of processes present in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBoK), a specific guide that consolidates the best practices of project management from the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the use of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). From such elements and the identification of factors relevant to the educational institution involved and the processes related to the advisory and development of scientific research, it was sought to build a proposed risk analysis in the academic, named Academic Project Risk Management Plan (APRMP). This aims to contribute to the discussion and gathering information that can support the Advisor and the student at all stages of the research (planning, development and conclusion) that downside risks are avoided or minimized and that opportunities become clear and effective possibilities.

This paper presents a new code compression method in which we merge the Huffman algorithm with the formation of patterns of blocks and three dictionaries. We seek two consecutive blocks in two levels, one of them into compressed code and the other related to uncompressed code. We have used simulation with SimpleScalar and programs from MiBench. Our proposal has achieved a compression rate of 32.6% and 31.9%, respectively, for ARM and MIPS processor.

EDITOR'S SUMMARY The 13th Annual SIG/USE Research Symposium focused on ways mobile technologies have influenced information needs, seeking and use. In her keynote address, Caroline Haythornthwaite framed movement as changing contributorship, interactions and participation in multiple knowledge communities. A series of Ignite talks on the common theme of mobility followed, with topics ranging from mobile phones as the preferred Internet access device, credibility of mobile applications and online resources and public libraries' use of social media and mobile applications to mobile apps promoting health information literacy and supporting teleworking. Small groups brainstormed on opportunities, challenges and research ideas inspired by the theme. Annual SIG/USE awards recognized scholars for innovative work on topics including refugees' information seeking, factors influencing scholars' data sharing and drawings as visual representations of information. The symposium closed with encouragement to consider how information on the move influences perspectives and research into information behavior.
