Support vector machine (SVM) is good at classifying high dimensional data. Parameter setting in the SVM training procedure, along with the feature selection, significantly influences the classification accuracy. An improved algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) for feature selection and parameters optimization of SVM (GPSO-SVM) is proposed to improve the classification accuracy and select the number of features as little as possible. Aiming at the problem that the map operation time occupies more resources in the embedded system. By studying the digital map, then the corresponding map is drawn and the map is optimized. Using the GPS/BEIDOU module to locate and use the Dijkstra algorithm to achieve the shortest path of the navigation module design, the use of the map database to remove the corresponding area of the data mapping map information, in a translation to a certain distance when the scene clear the data, draw a map. In this way, there will be no data left in the view. Since the Dijkstra algorithm is based on the graph, it is necessary to link the roads in the area to create an indirect graph to find the shortest path to the end point. If the point of the line as an indirect node, the composition of the indirect map will be very large. Moreover, the use of the line as an indirect node, we can reduce the number of nodes without the map, to improve the efficiency of Dijkstra algorithm traversal. Based on the open system platform and data standard, this paper designs and develops a secure, stable and low cost embedded GPS/BEIDOU navigation and navigation system. The experimental results are optimized. The results show that the proposed method is efficient for navigation.

Adaptive regularized scheme for remote sensing image fusion

We propose an adaptive regularized algorithm for remote sensing image fusion based on variational methods. In the algorithm, we integrate the inputs using a ＂grey world＂ assumption to achieve visual uniformity. We propose a fusion operator that can automatically select the total variation （TV）-LI term for edges and L2-terms for non-edges. To implement our algorithm, we use the steepest descent method to solve the corresponding Euler-Lagrange equation. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves remarkable results.

Handwritten digit string recognition by combination of residual network and RNN-CTC

Recurrent neural network (RNN) and connectionist temporal classification (CTC) have showed successes in many sequence labeling tasks with the strong ability of dealing with the problems where the alignment between the inputs and the target labels is unknown. Residual network is a new structure of convolutional neural network and works well in various computer vision tasks. In this paper, we take advantage of the architectures mentioned above to create a new network for hand- written digit string recognition. First we design a residual network to extract features from input images, then we employ a RNN to model the contextual information within feature sequences and predict recognition results. At the top of this network, a standard CTC is applied to calculate the loss and yield the final results. These three parts compose an end-to-end trainable network. The proposed new architecture achieves the highest performances on ORAND-CAR-A and ORAND-CAR-B with recognition rates 89.75% and 91.14%, respectively. In addition, the experiments on a generated captcha dataset which has much longer string length show the potential of the proposed network to handle long strings. Copyright © 2017, The Authors. The last two decades has seen quantum thermodynamics become a well established field of research in its own right. In that time, it has demonstrated a remarkably broad applicability, ranging from providing foundational advances in the understanding of how thermodynamic principles apply at the nano-scale and in the presence of quantum coherence, to providing a guiding framework for the development of efficient quantum devices. Exquisite levels of control have allowed state-of-the-art experimental platforms to explore energetics and thermodynamics at the smallest scales which has in turn helped to drive theoretical advances. This Roadmap provides an overview of the recent developments across many of the field’s sub-disciplines, assessing the key challenges and future prospects, providing a guide for its near term progress. P systems are a model of hierarchically compartmentalized multiset rewriting. We introduce a novel kind of P systems in which rules are dynamically constructed in each step by non-deterministic pairing of left-hand and right-hand sides. We define three variants of right-hand side randomization and compare each of them with the power of conventional P systems. It turns out that all three variants enable non-cooperative P systems to generate exponential (and thus non-semi-linear) number languages. We also give a binary normal form for one of the variants of P systems with randomized rule right-hand sides. © 2018, Springer International Publishing AG.

Polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) is an advanced imaging radar system, for which the acquired data provide not only the information of each channel but also the correlation between channels. To fully utilize and accurately model the multilook PolSAR data, a novel compound distribution, named the H distribution, is proposed based on the generalized Fisher distribution (GFD). Specifically, the GFD introduces a power parameter to the ordinary Fisher distribution. With one more free parameter, the GFD is flexible and versatile enough to characterize different kinds of texture. Then, by assuming the generalized-Fisher-distributed texture and the Wishart-distributed speckle, the H distribution is derived, whose closed-form expression is obtained with the help of Fox's H-function. As such, the H distribution has a compact form and is conveniently applied to practical problems, such as modeling and classification of PolSAR data. The effectiveness of this method is tested by modeling the multilook PolSAR data and performing image classification. The experimental results demonstrate that the H distribution is a flexible and effective way to model multilook PolSAR data.
