Secure data management and effective data sharing have become paramount in the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, especially with the growing integration of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT). The rise of generative artificial intelligence has further elevated Multi-modal Large Language Models (MLLMs) as essential tools for managing and optimizing healthcare data in IoMT. MLLMs can support multi-modal inputs and generate diverse types of content by leveraging large-scale training on vast amounts of multi-modal data. However, critical challenges persist in developing medical MLLMs, including security and freshness issues of healthcare data, affecting the output quality of MLLMs. To this end, in this paper, we propose a hybrid Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-empowered medical MLLM framework for healthcare data management. This framework leverages a hierarchical cross-chain architecture to facilitate secure data training. Moreover, it enhances the output quality of MLLMs through hybrid RAG, which employs multi-modal metrics to filter various unimodal RAG results and incorporates these retrieval results as additional inputs to MLLMs. Additionally, we employ age of information to indirectly evaluate the data freshness impact of MLLMs and utilize contract theory to incentivize healthcare data holders to share their fresh data, mitigating information asymmetry during data sharing. Finally, we utilize a generative diffusion model-based deep reinforcement learning algorithm to identify the optimal contract for efficient data sharing. Group-wise inhibition based feature regularization for robust classification

The convolutional neural network (CNN) is vulnerable to degraded images with even very small variations (e.g. corrupted and adversarial samples). One of the possible reasons is that CNN pays more attention to the most discriminative regions, but ignores the auxiliary features when learning, leading to the lack of feature diversity for final judgment. In our method, we propose to dynamically suppress significant activation values of CNN by group-wise inhibition, but not fixedly or randomly handle them when training. The feature maps with different activation distribution are then processed separately to take the feature independence into account. CNN is finally guided to learn richer discriminative features hierarchically for robust classification according to the proposed regularization. Our method is comprehensively evaluated under multiple settings, including classification against corruptions, adversarial attacks and low data regime. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve significant improvements in terms of both robustness and generalization performances, when compared with the state-of-the-art methods. This study proposed a lightweight and secure audio steganography system for hiding text messages during transmission over the Internet to address the computational cost exaggeration, and Insufficient levels of security in earlier studies. The paper proposes a two-phase functioning mechanism. Text characters are transformed into ASCII code and then stored in a vector, which is then divided into three sub-vectors. The sub-vectors are scrambled using a two low complexity operation, namely a forwardbackward reading technique and an odd-even index. Two scrambling circuits can be performed: the first on tiny sub-vectors and another on the vector as a whole. In the hiding phase, the speech signal samples were divided into 256 blocks using only 200 values per block, and low complexity Quadratic and the Hénon maps to hide the speech signal in a random manner. This method utilizes the conditional LSB as low complexity algorithm to identify hidden bits and a special hyperchaotic map algorithm for randomly choosing locations. The proposed approach provides good security for a scrambled text message with high SNR and PSNR, small MSE error and PESQ, SSIM near one, BER close to zero, and MOS near five as well as the lowest computational hiding cost. © 2023, The Authors. Modeling Multiple Views via Implicitly Preserving Global Consistency and Local Complementarity

While self-supervised learning techniques are often used to mine hidden knowledge from unlabeled data via modeling multiple views, it is unclear how to perform effective representation learning in a complex and inconsistent context. To this end, we propose a new multi-view self-supervised learning method, namely consistency and complementarity network (CoCoNet), to comprehensively learn global inter-view consistent and local cross-view complementarity-preserving representations from multiple views. To capture crucial common knowledge which is implicitly shared among views, CoCoNet employs a global consistency module that aligns the probabilistic distribution of views by utilizing an efficient discrepancy metric based on the generalized sliced Wasserstein distance. To incorporate cross-view complementary information, CoCoNet proposes a heuristic complementarity-aware contrastive learning approach, which extracts a complementarity-factor jointing cross-view discriminative knowledge and uses it as the contrast to guide the learning of view-specific encoders. Theoretically, the superiority of CoCoNet is verified by our information-theoretical-based analyses. Empirically, our thorough experimental results show that CoCoNet outperforms the state-of-the-art self-supervised methods by a significant margin, for instance, CoCoNet beats the best benchmark method by an average margin of 1.1% on ImageNet. Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) is an automated method for generating, manipulating, and modifying valuable and diverse data using AI algorithms creatively. This survey paper focuses on the deployment of AIGC applications, e.g., ChatGPT and Dall-E, at mobile edge networks, namely mobile AIGC networks, that provide personalized and customized AIGC services in real time while maintaining user privacy. We begin by introducing the background and fundamentals of generative models and the lifecycle of AIGC services at mobile AIGC networks, which includes data collection, training, fine-tuning, inference, and product management. We then discuss the collaborative cloud-edge-mobile infrastructure and technologies required to support AIGC services and enable users to access AIGC at mobile edge networks. Furthermore, we explore AIGC-driven creative applications and use cases for mobile AIGC networks. Additionally, we discuss the implementation, security, and privacy challenges of deploying mobile AIGC networks. Finally, we highlight some future research directions and open issues for the full realization of mobile AIGC networks. © 2023, CC BY.

In the last few years, Arabic Sentiment Analysis (ASA) has become the most important trends topic of market and scientific research in Machine Learning (ML) and Natural Language Processing (NLP) fields. It tries to identify the opinion orientation (positivity, neutrality or negativity) of a piece text in different domains and it has gained significant results especially in the field of education, in other words ASA is utilized to ameliorate education by trying to understand the learning degree of students and monitoring the performance of students. Due to Arabic complexities at the level of orthography, morphology and dialects. Sentiment analysis for Arabic language is very difficult and it considered as a more challenging process compared to other languages like English. In this work, we tried to give a comparative analysis of Arabic Sentiment approaches, together with various powerful existing techniques.

BiSample: Bidirectional sampling for handling missing data with local differential privacy

Local differential privacy (LDP) has received much interest recently. In existing protocols with LDP guarantees, a user encodes and perturbs his data locally before sharing it to the aggregator. In common practice, however, users would prefer not to answer all the questions due to different privacy-preserving preferences for different questions, which leads to data missing or the loss of data quality. In this paper, we demonstrate a new approach for addressing the challenges of data perturbation with consideration of users' privacy preferences. Specifically, we first propose BiSample: a bidirectional sampling technique value perturbation in the framework of LDP. Then we combine the BiSample mechanism with users' privacy preferences for missing data perturbation. Theoretical analysis and experiments on a set of datasets confirm the effectiveness of the proposed mechanisms. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Multi-Update Patterns and Validity Verification for Robust Visual Tracking

The Object tracking is a challenging problem in computer vision field. Now, deep learning has made outstanding achievements in feature extraction. There are already some examples of deep learning applications in visual tracking. But, they almost paid attention to precision and sacrificed efficiency. So we propose a tracker named adaptive combination tracker(ACT), based on neural network model, which gives consideration to both precision and efficiency. Our ACT tracker gets rich features offline through Stacked Denoising Autoencoders (SDAE) and transfers them to online tracking. In tracking, a dynamic particle filter algorithm is proposed to speed up tracking. We update our tracker with different patterns according to the change in appearance. In order to ensure efficiency, our tracker regulates speed adaptively. Our tracker regulates speed precisely to avoid drift caused by fast motion as much as possible, and confirm and optimize the effectiveness of the results by comparison with previous target. We evaluate our tracker on OTB2013 datasets. Extensive experiments on OTB2013 datasets demonstrate that the proposed tracker performs favorably in relation to the state-of-the-art methods. © 2020 Computer Society of the Republic of China. High-Resolution Natural Image Matting by Refining Low-resolution Alpha Mattes

High-resolution natural image matting plays an important role in image editing, film-making and remote sensing due to its ability of accurately extract the foreground from a natural background. However, due to the complexity brought about by the proliferation of resolution, the existing image matting methods cannot obtain high-quality alpha mattes on high-resolution images in reasonable time. To overcome this challenge, we introduce a high-resolution image matting framework based on alpha matte refinement from low-resolution to high-resolution (HRIMF-AMR). The proposed framework transforms the complex high-resolution image matting problem into low-resolution image matting problem and high-resolution alpha matte refinement problem. While the first problem is solved by adopting an existing image matting method, the latter is addressed by applying the Detail Difference Feature Extractor (DDFE) designed as a part of our work. The DDFE extracts detail difference features from high-resolution images by measuring the image feature difference between high-resolution images and low-resolution images. The low-resolution alpha matte is refined according to the extracted detail difference feature, providing the high-resolution alpha matte. In addition, the Matte Detail Resolution Difference (MDRD) loss is introduced to train the DDFE, which imposes an additional constraint on the extraction of detail difference features with mattes. Experimental results show that integrating HRIMF-AMR significantly enhances the performance of existing matting methods on high-resolution images of Transparent-460 and Alphamatting.
