Due to dramatically increasing information published in social networks,privacy issues have given rise to public *** the presence of differential privacy provides privacy protection with theoretical foundations,the trade-off between privacy and data utility still demands further ***,most existing studies do not consider the quantitative impact of the adversary when measuring data *** this paper,we firstly propose a personalized differential privacy method based on social ***,we analyze the maximum data utility when users and adversaries are blind to the strategy sets of each *** formalize all the payoff functions in the differential privacy sense,which is followed by the establishment of a static Bayesian *** trade-off is calculated by deriving the Bayesian Nash equilibrium with a modified reinforcement learning *** proposed method achieves fast convergence by reducing the cardinality from n to *** addition,the in-place trade-off can maximize the user's data utility if the action sets of the user and the adversary are public while the strategy sets are *** extensive experiments on the real-world dataset prove the proposed model is effective and feasible.

BACKGROUND:Skin cancer is one of the highly occurring diseases in human life. Early detection and treatment are the prime and necessary points to reduce the malignancy of infections. Deep learning techniques are supplementary tools to assist clinical experts in detecting and localizing skin lesions. Vision transformers (ViT) based on image segmentation classification using multiple classes provide fairly accurate detection and are gaining more popularity due to legitimate multiclass prediction capabilities. MATERIALS AND METHODS:In this research, we propose a new ViT Gradient-Weighted Class Activation Mapping (GradCAM) based architecture named ViT-GradCAM for detecting and classifying skin lesions by spreading ratio on the lesion's surface area. The proposed system is trained and validated using a HAM 10000 dataset by studying seven skin lesions. The database comprises 10 015 dermatoscopic images of varied sizes. The data preprocessing and data augmentation techniques are applied to overcome the class imbalance issues and improve the model's performance. RESULT:The proposed algorithm is based on ViT models that classify the dermatoscopic images into seven classes with an accuracy of 97.28%, precision of 98.51, recall of 95.2%, and an F1 score of 94.6, respectively. The proposed ViT-GradCAM obtains better and more accurate detection and classification than other state-of-the-art deep learning-based skin lesion detection models. The architecture of ViT-GradCAM is extensively visualized to highlight the actual pixels in essential regions associated with skin-specific pathologies. CONCLUSION:This research proposes an alternate solution to overcome the challenges of detecting and classifying skin lesions using ViTs and GradCAM, which play a significant role in detecting and classifying skin lesions accurately rather than relying solely on deep learning models.

Mental fatigue of the brain will cause the weakening of the psychological and physiological functions of the human body, which increases the risk of mistakes and accidents. This paper designs a mental fatigue detection and mitigation system based on human physiological signals and classical music. Through the fatigue assessment and mitigation experiment on 20 healthy subjects, it is verified that the system is able to judge the mental fatigue state of the subjects and play classical music to mitigate fatigue via acquiring and analyzing (alpha+theta)/beta of electroencephalogram (EEG) and heart rate variability (HRV) of ballistocardiogram (BCG). The designed system realizes signal acquisition and fatigue analysis only through using portable device, this makes it have certain application value in office building, hospital, aircraft driving and other scenes.

Electroencephalogram (EEG) equipped with high time resolution that distracted by incoherent brain sources which including ocular artifacts (OAs) generating by blinks is of great significance. Therefore, these OAs got corrected before extracting information from EEG is indispensable. Improved Moment Matching (IMM) is a high-speed denoising algorithm suitable for removing OA in multi-channel EEG, which is an improvement of the moment matching method used to remove stripe noise in hyperspectral images. On foundation of this, this paper proposes an optimization algorithm for IMM based on Gaussian decay function (IMM_G). In the first place, the construction of the reference signal is optimized via utilizing a Gaussian decay function, thereby preventing the signal distortion caused by the filter. And then, a method for judging the to-be-processed interval is proposed to realizes the individualized processing of different channels. As a result, through quantitative comparison experiments with simulated data and real data from the UAIS laboratory, it was identified that IMM_G showed less time complexity, significantly enhanced arithmetic speed and denoising consequence while the detail retention ability of the original method for the non-blinking region of multi-channel EEG data is maintained. Hence, this method could be extensively used in High-density EEG (hdEEG) OAs removal scene.

Cross-dataset emotion recognition as an extremely challenging task in the field of EEG-based affective computing is influenced by many factors, which makes the universal models yield unsatisfactory results. Facing the situation that lacks EEG information decoding research, we first analyzed the impact of different EEG information(individual, session, emotion and trial) for emotion recognition by sample space visualization, sample aggregation phenomena quantification, and energy pattern analysis on five public datasets. Based on these phenomena and patterns, we provided the processing methods and interpretable work of various EEG differences. Through the analysis of emotional feature distribution patterns, the Individual Emotional Feature Distribution Difference(IEFDD) was found, which was also considered as the main factor of the stability for emotion recognition. After analyzing the limitations of traditional modeling approach suffering from IEFDD, the Weight-based Channel-model Matrix Framework(WCMF) was proposed. To reasonably characterize emotional feature distribution patterns, four weight extraction methods were designed, and the optimal was the correction T-test(CT) weight extraction method. Finally, the performance of WCMF was validated on cross-dataset tasks in two kinds of experiments that simulated different practical scenarios, and the results showed that WCMF had more stable and better emotion recognition ability. HDTCNet: A hybrid-dimensional convolutional network for multivariate time series classification

Currently, transformer-based models dominate time series classification due to their ability to capture global data dependencies. However, their large memory footprint and high computational demands make them less desirable for long multivariate time series modeling. At the same time, convolution-based models promise a desirable performance versus efficiency trade-off for the task. Nevertheless, the popularity of transformer models has impeded exploration of sophisticated convolution-based modeling for time series classification. In this work, we introduce a novel convolution-based model, called HDTCNet, that alternates between 1D and 2D convolutional modes to capture temporal pattern correlations between intra- and inter-sensor variations. We develop a Wavelet Time Convolution block to expand the effective receptive field of the underlying neural model with a small convolutional kernel that embeds a set of 1D convolution operators between a cascade of wavelet decomposition and reconstruction of the input time series. To efficiently represent the local features of multivariate time series, we devise a hierarchical difference convolution network to capture intra- and inter-sensor gradient variations. To refine the feature representation of sensor-level time series and achieve multi-view self-enhancement, we design a self-enhancing module. These innovations enable HDTCNet to achieve superior performance while maintaining efficiency as a purely convolutional model. Experimental results demonstrate that HDTCNet achieves 2.1% accuracy and 1% F1-score performance improvements over state-of-the-art methods on 25 UEA classification datasets and 3 anomaly detection datasets, respectively, while reducing parameter counts by two orders of magnitude. Lane detection embedded in intelligent vehicles can greatly improve the security of automatic driving. This work offers a new approach towards lane detection in the video in real-time combining multi-feature fusion and window searching. As the pre-procession, polygon filling is adopted to locate ROI (Region of Interest) in the video frames, which contain the lane-lines to be detected. To remove the backgrounds in the ROIs, we extract and fuse the features of color, histogram, and gradient of line lanes. Based on the density distribution of the pixels in the line lanes, the initial location is found by homography transformation. Then all candidate pixel points in the whole lane-line are extracted in the way of window searching. Finally, On the basis of the obtained lane-mark coordinates, a curve model is defined, and the model parameters are obtained by Least Square Estimation (LSE). Experimental results show the robustness and instantaneity of the proposed algorithm with the accuracy of 96% and the detecting time of only 20.7ms. software vulnerabilities are usually caused by design flaws or implementation errors, which could be exploited to cause damage to the security of the system. At present, the most commonly used method for detecting software vulnerabilities is static analysis. Most of the related technologies work based on rules or code similarity (source code level) and rely on manually defined vulnerability features. However, these rules and vulnerability features are difficult to be defined and designed accurately, which makes static analysis face many challenges in practical applications. To alleviate this problem, some researchers have proposed to use neural networks that have the ability of automatic feature extraction to improve the intelligence of detection. However, there are many types of neural networks, and different data preprocessing methods will have a significant impact on model performance. It is a great challenge for engineers and researchers to choose a proper neural network and data preprocessing method for a given problem. To solve this problem, we have conducted extensive experiments to test the performance of the two most typical neural networks (i.e., Bi-LSTM and RVFL) with the two most classical data preprocessing methods (i.e., the vector representation and the program symbolization methods) on software vulnerability detection problems and obtained a series of interesting research conclusions, which can provide valuable guidelines for researchers and engineers. Specifically, we found that 1) the training speed of RVFL is always faster than Bi-LSTM, but the prediction accuracy of Bi-LSTM model is higher than RVFL; 2) using doc2vec for vector representation can make the model have faster training speed and generalization ability than using word2vec; and 3) multi-level symbolization is helpful to improve the precision of neural network models.

Context: Contemporary software development is typically conducted in dynamic, resource-scarce environments that are prone to the accumulation of technical debt. While this general phenomenon is acknowledged, what remains unknown is how technical debt specifically manifests in and affects software processes, and how the software development techniques employed accommodate or mitigate the presence of this debt. Objectives: We sought to draw on practitioner insights and experiences in order to classify the effects of agile method use on technical debt management, given the popularity and perceived success of agile methods. We explore the breadth of practitioners' knowledge about technical debt;how technical debt is manifested across the software process;and the perceived effects of common agile software development practices and processes on technical debt. In doing so, we address a research gap in technical debt knowledge and provide novel and actionable managerial recommendations. Method: We designed, tested and executed a multi-national survey questionnaire to address our objectives, receiving 184 responses from practitioners in Brazil, Finland, and New Zealand. Results: Our findings indicate that: 1) Practitioners are aware of technical debt, although, there was under utilization of the concept, 2) Technical debt commonly resides in legacy systems, however, concrete instances of technical debt are hard to conceptualize which makes it problematic to manage, 3) Queried agile practices and processes help to reduce technical debt;in particular, techniques that verify and maintain the structure and clarity of implemented artifacts (e.g., Coding standards and Refactoring) positively affect technical debt management. Conclusions: The fact that technical debt instances tend to have characteristics in common means that a systematic approach to its management is feasible.
