Peoples movements have been interested in from the point of understanding, management and decisions for event organizers and the persons concerned, who will do planning their hospitality and every service plans. To perform modeling of the peoples movements, an effective description will be expected for their systematic analysis. In this paper, the delay differential equations and Markov process model of the peoples movements are developed to catch the rough behavior of the people. Then, the peoples convergence, divergence and approaching to the constant values are shown. Further, this paper proposes the estimation method of the Markov order of the movements computed simply using the number of peoples and their correlations. It is shown that the simulation models based on the differential equations and Markov process are useful for understanding peoples movements. © 2021 IEEE.

In the artificial intelligence, machine learning and neural network fields, many practical use models have been proposed. However, these models are based on a digital Von Neumann model's computer. There are a minority of studies in the field of analog learning neural networks. In our previous study, we used multiple circuits as connecting weights. Multiple circuits calculate the product of the two input values, input signals and connecting weights. However, the working range is very small because of the semiconductor characteristics. When constructing a network, one of the disadvantages is that the input and output range is limited. Furthermore, the circuit operation becomes unstable because of the characteristics of the multiple circuit. In this study, we proposed logarithmic four-quadrant multiple circuits as a connecting weight. From the experimental result, it is shown that this circuit operates stably over a wide range. The model works using pure analog electronic circuits. The learning time is quite short compare to a digital process computer. We improved the number of units and network layers. Moreover, we suggest the possibility of the realization of the hardware implementation of the deep learning model.

In this paper, we propose a novel disaster damage detection method using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) interferometric analysis. SAR interferometric coherence analysis is an effective method for disaster monitoring especially in the urban area, where the amplitude of SAR image changes only slightly unless the damage level is high. One drawback of the interferometric coherence-based analysis is the existence of the Cramér-Rao lower bound. That is, a small spatial window for its ensemble averaging leads significant bias while a large window makes its spatial resolution worse. To solve this problem, we propose to extend the ensemble average window towards temporal domain by increasing the number of interferometric pairs. Conventional methods which use multiple interferometric pairs firstly calculate coherence values independently. Instead, the proposed method unifies the interferograms first. We report some preliminary experimental results showing the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange has changed the tick size. This was done twice in 2014. The phase 1 (PI) was for the high price range, and the phase 2 (P2) was for the low price range only. We measured resiliency at the time of this tick reduction. There were differences in the duration of influence and influence depending on the time and variables. Especially after the tick size reduction, regarding the High Low Range, trading volume, and Amihud's illiquidity measure, PI is convex upward and the effect period is short, and P2 is convex downward, and the effect period is long. However, the impact period was long for stock prices, and the transition was similar. Also, a major contribution in this study was the measurement of the effect of tick size reduction on resiliency, which is one of the liquidity. © 2021 IEEE.

In repeat-pass interferometric synthetic aperture radar (In-SAR), the coherence loss derived from temporal decorrelation can be modeled using an exponential decay function. Many researches have investigated the relationships between decay parameters over various land-cover types for C-band SAR satellites. Although ALOS PALSAR provides many L-band SAR images, its revisit time was insufficient for understanding the rapid exponential drop in temporal decorrelation. Due to the lack of an appropriate archived dataset, analyzing the decay parameters for L-band SAR was a challenging task. In this study, we processed four-year interferometric pairs derived from ALOS-2 PALSAR-2 full-aperture ScanSAR images. This dataset has a 14 day minimum temporal interval. We selected Nairobi, Kenya, in the middle of the East African rift, as the study area and investigated how decay functions differ over multiple land-cover types. In addition, we compared decay models for Sentinel-1 interferograms. This study demonstrates that the decay parameters of L-band coherence completely differs across forest types, whereas C-band coherence is low coherence regardless of forest type.

In recent years, a credit scoring service that based on personal behavioral data has been providing in the world. Alibaba Group's Ant Financial in China developed Sesame Credit and launched its service in 2015 as an additional function of Alipay. Credit score(risk) is mainly used in case of calculating loan limit and loan interest rate. On the other hand, a personal credit score affects not only loans but also to benefit public services, job hunting, and marriage hunting. In many countries, personal credit scores will be created as part of various services and become credit score society as in China. Personal credit scores have been already performed practically, but there is not so much research on academic at present. In particular, there is not research on the personal credit risk using only non-financial data without financial data. Generally, financial data is used principally to measure a company's credit risk. However, the use of financial data to measure a personal credit risk is considered dangerous. Therefore, in the latter case, it's important to calculate credit risk using only non-financial data without using financial data. In this study, we examine the method to calculate personal credit score using non-financial ***, we describe the flow of a customer who purchases a product using relation diagram until it defaults. Secondly, we performed a two-group discriminant analysis using the default variable as the objective variable and adding some default factors to the explanatory variables. As a result of the correct discrimination rate, discrimination was possible, albeit slightly. In addition, it turned out to be meaningful to analyze personal credit using only non-financial data. © 2020 IEEE.

The growing amount of data and advances in data science have created a need for a new kind of cloud platform that provides users with flexibility, strong security, and the ability to couple with supercomputers and edge devices through high-performance networks. We have built such a nation-wide cloud platform, called "mdx" to meet this need. The mdx platform’s virtualization service, jointly operated by 9 national universities and 2 national research institutes in Japan, launched in 2021, and more features are in development. Currently mdx is used by researchers in a wide variety of domains, including materials informatics, geo-spatial information science, life science, astronomical science, economics, social science, and computer science. This paper provides an the overview of the mdx platform, details the motivation for its development, reports its current status, and outlines its future plans. © 2022, CC BY.

Tick size is minimum price unit which investors buy or sell stock shares in stock market. Tick size is reduced with the aim of improving liquidity. Liquidity means how easily investors buy or sell stock shares. Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) introduced new tick size rules twice in 2014. In phase 1 (P1), it enforced on January 14th, 2014. In phase 2 (P2), it enforced on July 22nd, 2014. Actually, liquidity is measured liquidity measures. Danyliv, Bland, and Nicholass proposed new liquidity measure, Liquidity Index (LIX). This is the relationship between price change and trading volume. It shows how much the stock price is moved by trading. As for LIX, there is no study of the impact of tick size reduction. And in previous study, Purwoto and Tandelilin showed the relationship between stock price and liquidity measure when tick size was reduced. Bessembinder also showed the relationship between market value and liquidity measure when tick size was reduced. Additionally, Amihud showed the relationship between stock return and illiquidity. So, in this paper, we have following two research purposes. First, we investigate how much tick size reduction impacts on LIX. Second, we investigate how much stock price, market value, and stock return affect LIX when tick size is reduced. As a result, we got following three results. First, tick size reduction increase LIX in P1, and decrease in P2. Second, there is interaction effect of tick size reduction and stock price in P2. Third, there is interaction effect of tick size reduction and stock return. © 2020 IEEE.
