Tick size is minimum price variation which investors quote stock shares in financial market. Purpose of tick size reduction is to improve liquidity. Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) reduced twice its tick size in 2014. The first time is called phase 1 (P1). Also, the second time is called phase 2 (P2). In previous study, Amihud showed the relationship between stock return and illiquidity. If stock exchanges improve liquidity due to tick size reduction, there is the possibility that stock return will decrease. But Pachare and Rainer find no impact on abnormal return (AR) and cumulative abnormal return (CAR). So, in this paper, our purpose is to investigate long term AR and CAR. As a result, we got following four results. First, there are some positive and negative AR days in P1. Second, there are some negative AR days in P2. Third, CAR is positive in P1. Fourth, CAR is negative in P2. © 2020 IEEE.

In recent years, a credit scoring service that based on personal behavioral data has been providing in the world. Alibaba Group's Ant Financial in China developed Sesame Credit and launched its service in 2015 as an additional function of Alipay. Credit score(risk) is mainly used in case of calculating loan limit and loan interest rate. On the other hand, a personal credit score affects not only loans but also to benefit public services, job hunting, and marriage hunting. In many countries, personal credit scores will be created as part of various services and become credit score society as in China. Personal credit scores have been already performed practically, but there is not so much research on academic at present. In particular, there is not research on the personal credit risk using only non-financial data without financial data. Generally, financial data is used principally to measure a company's credit risk. However, the use of financial data to measure a personal credit risk is considered dangerous. Therefore, in the latter case, it's important to calculate credit risk using only non-financial data without using financial data. In this study, we examine the method to calculate personal credit score using non-financial ***, we describe the flow of a customer who purchases a product using relation diagram until it defaults. Secondly, we performed a two-group discriminant analysis using the default variable as the objective variable and adding some default factors to the explanatory variables. As a result of the correct discrimination rate, discrimination was possible, albeit slightly. In addition, it turned out to be meaningful to analyze personal credit using only non-financial data.

Tourist movement studies have been carried out for understanding tourists decisions for visiting and sightseeing. Knowing tourist interests and wayfinding decision-making affect tourists routes and facilities since the planners and hotel facilities will do planning their hospitality and every service plans using their information. To make the model of the tourist movements, an effective mathematical description will be expected for their systematic analysis. In this paper, Markov process model of the tourist movements are newly developed using information theory. Then, it is shown that the order of Markov process of the movements is estimated using conditional entropies, efficiently and the shuffling operation of Markov process is newly proposed to verify conditional entropies of the Markov process. The stochastic simulation model based on the analysis is useful for the verification of the Markov process with the estimated order of the behavior of tourists movement. © 2020 IEEE.

Peoples movements have been interested in from the point of understanding, management and decisions for event organizers and the persons concerned, who will do planning their hospitality and every service plans. To perform modeling of the peoples movements, an effective description will be expected for their systematic analysis. In this paper, the delay differential equations and Markov process model of the peoples movements are developed to catch the rough behavior of the people. Then, the peoples convergence, divergence and approaching to the constant values are shown. Further, this paper proposes the estimation method of the Markov order of the movements computed simply using the number of peoples and their correlations. It is shown that the simulation models based on the differential equations and Markov process are useful for understanding peoples movements.

Tick size is minimum price unit which investors buy or sell stock shares in stock market. Tick size is reduced with the aim of improving liquidity. Liquidity means how easily investors buy or sell stock shares. Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) introduced new tick size rules twice in 2014. In phase 1 (P1), it enforced on January 14th, 2014. In phase 2 (P2), it enforced on July 22nd, 2014. Actually, liquidity is measured liquidity measures. Danyliv, Bland, and Nicholass proposed new liquidity measure, Liquidity Index (LIX). This is the relationship between price change and trading volume. It shows how much the stock price is moved by trading. As for LIX, there is no study of the impact of tick size reduction. And in previous study, Purwoto and Tandelilin showed the relationship between stock price and liquidity measure when tick size was reduced. Bessembinder also showed the relationship between market value and liquidity measure when tick size was reduced. Additionally, Amihud showed the relationship between stock return and illiquidity. So, in this paper, we have following two research purposes. First, we investigate how much tick size reduction impacts on LIX. Second, we investigate how much stock price, market value, and stock return affect LIX when tick size is reduced. As a result, we got following three results. First, tick size reduction increase LIX in P1, and decrease in P2. Second, there is interaction effect of tick size reduction and stock price in P2. Third, there is interaction effect of tick size reduction and stock return.

The 2011 Thailand Floods heavily impacted 7 industrial complexes, in which 56.7% were Japanese companies. Many notable companies received severe damage until they had to cease their production. Area Business Continuity Management (Area-BCM) implemented in Thailand stems from this disaster which causes both private and public sectors to think about their business sustainability. The Area-BCM project is an on-going implementation in Thailand aiming to enhance collaboration among stakeholders in industrial areas for coping with upcoming threats. One of the most significant factors before launching a plan is to understand individual attitudes and perceptions pertaining to the Area-BCM project for the best practice, effective and continuous outcomes. This study aims to investigate various factors that affect the perceived usefulness (PU) about implementing Area-BCM. Our proposed research model is developed aligning with the behavioral model and factors influencing flood mitigation consisting of Subjective norms, Experience, Worry about flooding, and Flood hazard knowledge. Questionnaires were distributed to employees in the industrial areas which were flooded in 2011. The developed model was tested by Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results consequently show that subjective norms and flood hazard knowledge significantly influence perceived usefulness. This can be implied that, in an organization, major thoughts of related people could shape individual perceptions about using a disaster management plan. Moreover, the governmental and local authorities should be a significant force, that helps support plan implementation and educate people about disaster knowledge. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. In this paper, we propose a cybersecurity exercise system in a virtual computer environment. The human resource development for security fields is an urgent issue because of the threat of cyber-attacks, recently, is increasing, many incidents occurring, but there is a not enough security personnel to respond. Some universities and companies are conducting education using a commercial training system on the market. However, built and operates the training system is expensive, therefore difficult to use in higher education institutions and SMEs. However, to build and operates, the training system needs high cost, thus difficult to use in higher education institutions and SMEs. For this reason, we developed the CyExec: a cybersecurity exercise system consisting of a virtual computer environment using VirtualBox and Docker. We also implemented the WebGoat that is an OSS vulnerability diagnosis and learning program on the CyExec and developed an attack and defense exercise program.
