The purpose of this study is to address the issue of a shortage of caregivers for the elderly in an aging society. Elderly individuals living alone at home may experience various sudden health issues such as falls and emergencies. However, healthcare professionals may not have access to the individuals at that moment. Having access to real-time data can assist medical professionals in making more informed decisions about the patient's conditions. Thus, using FMCW millimeter-wave radar, we track the vital signs of individuals through a non-contact method in point clouds. Additionally, RGB cameras and the human pose estimation tool, OpenPose, are used to monitor and analyze motions and activities in public spaces, detecting special events such as falls and fainting and issuing alerts for immediate rescue to minimize further harm. This approach facilitates the exchange of information between medical professionals and patients, thereby reducing the likelihood of unfortunate incidents and improving patient outcomes.

Planck's constant experiment has been carried out to determine the value of Planck's constant using the regression analysis method. The steps are carried out using the scientific process outlined in the practical work steps. The specification of the experimental equipment uses the Planck constant experimental set with 12v/35w tungsten halogen light, 15v output, +-0.2% accuracy, 220V power requirement, 0.5A fuse rating and red, yellow 1, yellow 2, and red color filters, green and blue. Experiments using the concept of the photoelectric effect phenomenon began by irradiating metallic materials with light using a filter. The wavelength (635, 570, 540, 500, 460) nm is the light filter variation. The wavelength that hits the metal material is selected by placing a light filter on the light propagation path toward the metal material. So the light that passes through the filter is only light with a certain wavelength. After the metal material is irradiated by light with a certain wavelength, then the stopping potential voltage measurement is carried out on the metal material irradiated by light. From the variation of the light filter used, it is possible to calculate Planck's constant using the regression method with the value obtained 6.26x1034. This value is very close to the actual Planck's constant value which is 6.62x1034 so an error value is obtained 4.23%. With 95.77% accuracy, Planck's constant value obtained from the calculation using the linear regression method can be said to be very close to the actual Planck's constant value. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In agricultural water research, the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has emerged as a pivotal approach for large-scale data collection. Water availability in the context of water quality is very important, both for domestic and industrial purposes. For domestic purposes, drinking water and bathing water are separated. Meanwhile, for the palm oil industry, boiler filler is differentiated from additional process water (dilution water). Water quality parameters can be assessed from turbidity and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS). Measurements using measuring instruments separately and repeatedly require significant energy, time, and costs. This research was conducted with the primary objective of presenting a novel method for categorizing water quality with the approach of IoT sensor technology. The research methodology entailed the utilization of an integrated IoT water sensors system in conjunction with manual water categorization. The methods consist of (1) system design, (2) design and installation of sensor and IoT-based microcontrollers, and (3) accuracy and precision testing compared with laboratory measurements. The precision of the integrated IoT water sensors was assessed through a dedicated sensor precision test, resulting in an accuracy rate of 94.4% for the turbidity sensor and 97.5% for the TDS sensor. Notably, this approach successfully discriminated drinking water with valid categorization, while other water types, including groundwater, water with tea, and water with coffee, yielded null categorization results. © 2023 IEEE.

The Plasmodium parasite, which causes malaria, is an acute fever illness that infects people when a female Anopheles mosquito bites them. It is predicted that malaria would claim 619,000 lives in 2021, with 96% of those deaths occurring in the African continent. We can achieve this by using a microscope to examine thick and thin blood smears. The proficiency of a microscope examiner is crucial for doing microscopic examinations. Consider how time-consuming, ineffective, and costly it would be to examine thousands of malaria cases. Consequently, Creating an automated method for detecting malaria parasites is the aim of this study. We employ a MobileNetV2 pretrained model with CNN technology. Because it has been trained on dozens or even millions of data points, this pretrained model is incredibly light but dependable. There are two main benefits of automatic malaria parasite detection: firstly, it can offer a more accurate diagnosis, particularly in locations with limited resources; secondly, it lowers diagnostic expenses. The optimizer utilizes Adam Weight, the criteria uses NLLLoss, and the model is trained using 32 for batch_size. In the fourteenth epoch, we obtained the maximum accuracy score of 96.26% based on the training data. The outcomes of the predictions demonstrate how excellent this score is. EfficienceNet, DenseNet, AlexNet, and other pretrained models are among the alternatives that scientists are advised to try training with.

Within the scope of industry 5.0, mixed reality (MR) is an eminent technology for problem solving and process optimization. The present research aimed to assess how users perceive an augmented reality (AR) application for diagnosis and intervention on industrial equipment. 18 participants with 3 different professional and technological backgrounds (general users (GU), information technology users (SD) and human centered design experts (HF)) took part in this study. Generally, the developed system was valued as slightly positive and some improvement points were identified. The results also revealed differences in the perceived User Experience (UX) between different user profiles. Also, there are important differences in perception depending on the person's analysis experience, with less rigor for new users and higher rigor for people who work with human factors, for example. EXtended Reality (XR) has numerous applications in industrial contexts, including to assist in activities such as preventive maintenance and/or reactive interventions in machinery, wherein time-effectiveness is required to mitigate the costs of inactive production lines or the need to subcontract specialized technicians to perform those operations. However, developing an Augmented Reality (AR) application capable of being user-friendly and truly serviceable for aiding in the referred context requires keeping in mind human factors as key aspects and, as such, interaction must be a concern to address, namely, considering user feedback. Therefore, starting from a previous AR system oriented to industrial interventions that was developed and assessed with users and considering the feedback of the participant, the duly alterations were done and a new test was conducted, with a total of 27 participants, divided into 2 groups: 11 users who participated in the first experience and 16 general users who had never contacted with the solution before. A qualitative improvement in the user experience was noticed from the questionnaires feedback. Points such as fluidity, responsiveness, ease, speed, and intuitiveness were highlighted. Digital technology is currently a vital medium to influence consumers with diverse behaviours and a high level of sensitivity when purchasing goods and services. The purpose of this study is to analyse the impact of exposure to digital technology and user-generated content on the brand purchase intention of travel packages in the Bali tourism sector. As digital technology changes the way we communicate or convey information to attract consumers, one of the methods used to attract consumers is user-generated content (UGC) to create a more intimate engagement between products, services, and consumers. A total of 200 tourists who bought tour packages were used as respondents using accidental sampling. The results of the study explain that digital technology and user integration center have a significant influence on brand purchase intention, and brand exposure and brand familiarity have a considerable positive influence on brand purchase intention. A different influence is found: brand knowledge and attitude have a negative impact on brand purchase intention. The results of this study can enrich knowledge about the currently developing topic of e-marketing aimed at academics. From a practical perspective, this research can provide marketers with insight into the effectiveness of content as an advertising platform in the travel and tourism industry.

Since the emergence of Pokémon Go in 2016, the world has been introduced to Augmented Reality (AR) games. Many IT companies have begun developing augmented reality (AR) games due to the great commercial potential in this industry. Certain products may have managed to remain viable in the market, while others were forced to close due to one or two factors. Since the emergence of Pokémon Go, no other game has managed to surpass its unprecedented success. The company responsible for developing Pokémon Go has decided to shut down one of their games due to a lack of consumer interest. The technology of augmented reality (AR) is consistently associated with the concept of immersion. Immersion is a key aspect of the game that allows users to deeply engage and feel fully involved in the experience. This study will employ a quantitative methodology, utilising a questionnaire that will be distributed to and completed by those who have engaged in augmented reality (AR) games. The data will be analysed using Smart PLS to examine the impact of user experience on immersion, which in turn influences intention. After gathering over 200 participants by spreading google form questionnaires and doing data analysis, the findings indicate that only a few aspects of user experience, namely Brand Experience and User Need Experience, have an impact on reasons. Niantic, the developer of Pokémon Go, was unable to replicate their success with a similar augmented reality game called Harry Potter: Wizards Unite. The initial release occurred on June 21, 2019, and the shutdown took place on December 21, 2021. In the beginning, they shown a profound enthusiasm for the game but were unable to sustain it, much as Pokémon Go. According to Niantic CEO John Hanke, the primary reason for the game's shutdown was its immersion. This article explores open-source intelligence (OS-INT) to identify the vulnerabilities and loopholes in power grid systems, focusing on an electrical distribution company operating in Turkey. The study emphasizes the potential risks of sharing publicly available information on social media accounts, websites, reports, and press releases which most companies overlook. It highlights that individuals or adversaries can exploit this information to harm companies and countries that may not be fully aware of these vulnerabilities. OSINT tools can efficiently gather interpretable data on a company, which companies unknowingly share. By refining the collected data, the study aims to understand the technologies used, their software versions, and any associated vulnerabilities. Web scraping tools extract data from the company's website, which may contain critical information about updates, ongoing systems, and technologies. The article provides a comprehensive understanding of the potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with sharing sensitive information and the various OSINT tools and techniques that can be used to identify and address these vulnerabilities. The importance of vigilance against the potential harm that remote or unrelated individuals can inflict using OSINT capabilitiesis underscored. This study shows how easy it is to detect vulnerabilities in a critical infrastructure system using OSINT tools. © 2023 IEEE.
