Power dissipation and energy consumption are key factors for the performance improvement of modern technology systems. In recent years, several strategies have been proposed to solve the power management issues on embedded systems. In this paper, we classify the state of the art of those techniques. Classification is done based on run-time, activation, and idle state of the different components of the network on chip (NoC). We illustrate the requirement of power management based on several important parameters. A highlight is put on the drawbacks and benefits. Also, classification is done based on different NoC abstraction levels. However, by this paper, we intend to guide the researchers and application developers in getting insights about the strategies of power management techniques that will lead to the design of more efficient high performances in embedded systems of the future. © 2023 IEEE.

Due to the frequency of eye illnesses, effective and precise diagnostic instruments are required. This work suggests an approach that uses low quality fundus images with deep transfer learning more precisely, the EfficientNetB0 architecture to improve eye health diagnosis. We tackle the problem caused by the quality of fundus photographs that are commonly found in clinical settings, which frequently display noise and abnormalities. Our methodology consists of pretraining the EfficientNetB0 model on a sizable dataset of excellent fundus photos, followed by fine-tuning it on a dataset of poor fundus photos. By employing this transfer learning technique, the model enhances its diagnostic capabilities by learning to identify significant features from the low-quality images. We ran tests on a variety of datasets that included fundus photos of varying degrees of deterioration in order to assess our approach. As compared to conventional techniques, the results reveal a significant improvement in diagnostic accuracy, demonstrating the effectiveness of deep transfer learning for improving eye health diagnosis from difficult fundus images. With fused features from MobileNet and DenseNet-121 models, the ANN specifically achieved accuracies of 98.5% for cataracts, 99.1% for diabetic retinopathy, 99% for glaucoma, and 99.5% for normal conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper proposed Scalability in Autoencoder-based Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) communication system. In the previous research, only the comparison between IEEE802.11a and Autoencoder by the conventional OFDM communication system was performed, and it was proved that the communication system created by Autoencoder exceeded the performance of the conventional system. Therefore, in this paper, it uses IEEE802.11n and compare whether it can be improved by expanding the bandwidth and using ***802.11n standard has an FFT length of 128, a subcarrier number of 114 (108 for data), and modulation schemes of Quadrature Phase Shift Keying(QPSK), 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (16QAM). The GI length is 800ns and the symbol length is 4000ns. In the simulation, a computer simulation was performed using a conventional OFDM communication system and a communication system generated by Autoencoder. Assuming that the simulation environment had an Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) of 0 to 30 and an amplitude r of 0.0 to 1.0, the Symbol Error Rate (SER) status for each SNR was output. As a result of computer simulation, QPSK converged at SNR 27 at IEEE 802.11a, but was able to reduce SER overwhelmingly to SNR 12 at IEEE 802.11n. Also, in 16QAM the convergence at r=0.0 is the same as for SNR22 , but in IEEE 802.11a it does not converge after r=0.6, but in IEEE 802.11n it does not converge only at r=0.9 and r=1.0. As a future task, it will use IEEE802.11ac, which enables communication speeds several times faster than IEEE802.11n, examine whether it is possible to further improve accuracy. And it will continue our research to correspond MIMO communication. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper discusses intelligent constellation generation based on autoencoder communication system. In previous studies, the amplitude was set to fluctuate between r=0.0 and 1.0. However, when checking the generated constellation, distortion was confirmed instead of the conventional symbol arrangement. Therefore, in this paper, it compares the case where the amplitude is constant, the case where the average amplitude within a Minibatch is 1, and the case where the average amplitude is 1 for Interval time. The communication standard used in this research is IEEE 802.11a, assuming wireless Local Area Network (LAN) specifications. The IEEE 802.11a standard has an Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) length of 64, a subcarrier number of 52, and Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) and 16 Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM), modulation methods. A guard interval of 800 ns is added and the symbol length is 4000 ns. First, a simulation was performed under the condition that the amplitude was kept constant. QPSK with 4 symbols, constant amplitude model is rounded more than previous research result. 16QAM with 16 symbols is arranged regularly like lined up on a line. Second, the simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within the minibatch was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, appears to rotate clockwise. 16QAM with 16 symbols has a more uniform symbol placement than previous research result. Third, a simulation was performed under the condition that the average amplitude within Interval time was set to 1. QPSK with 4 symbols, is the closest to square among QPSK output results so far. The direction is slightly tilted, but if it can be rotated a little more, it may be possible to reproduce the same symbol arrangement as before. 16QAM with 16 symbols, the symbol arrangement is biased as a whole. Early diagnosis of the brain condition known as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) could significantly reduce the high healthcare costs typically involved with treating ASD. Autism's fiscal toll emphasizes the importance of developing easy and effective detection instruments. Therefore, a quick ASD evaluation is essential to helping healthcare professionals and letting people know if they should seek a formal clinical diagnosis. Currently, there are very few autism datasets related to screening accessible, most of which are based on genetics. To expose critical information about autism screening, this work suggests applying a novel machine learning framework that contains vital characteristics and performing predictive analysis utilising a Support vector machine, logistic regression, K-nearest neighbour, and random forest. The main objective of this study is to develop a system for the early detection of children at risk for autism spectrum disorders (ASD).

The widespread adoption of blockchain technology has amplified the spectrum of potential threats to its integrity and security. The ongoing quest to exploit vulnerabilities emphasizes how critical it is to expand on current research initiatives. Thus, using a methodology based on discrete blockchain layers, our survey study aims to broaden the existing body of knowledge by thoroughly discussing both new and known attack vectors inside the blockchain ecosystem. This survey proposes a novel classification of blockchain attacks and an in-dept. investigation of blockchain data security. In particular, the paper provides a thorough discussion of the attack techniques and vulnerabilities that are specific to each tier, along with a detailed look at mitigating techniques. We reveal the deep dynamics of these security concerns by closely investigating the fundamental causes of attacks at various blockchain tiers. We clarify mitigation methods for known vulnerabilities and offer new information on recently developed attack vectors. We also discuss the implications of quantum computing in blockchain and the weaknesses in the current technology that can be exploited in the future. Our study advances the field of blockchain security and privacy research while also contributing to our understanding of blockchain vulnerabilities and attacks. This survey paper is a useful tool for readers who want to learn more about the intricacies of blockchain security. It also invites researchers to help strengthen blockchain privacy and security, paving the way for further developments in this dynamic and ever-evolving field. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. Quantum computing has been on the rise in recent years, evidenced by a surge in publications on quantum software engineering and testing. Progress in quantum hardware has also been notable, with the introduction of impressive systems like Condor boasting 1121 qubits, and IBM Quantum System Two, which employs three 133-qubit Heron processors. As this technology edges closer to practical application, ensuring the efficacy of our software becomes imperative. Mutation testing, a well-established technique in classical computing, emerges as a valuable approach in this context. In our paper, we aim to introduce QCRMut, a mutation tool tailored for quantum programs, leveraging the inherent Quantum Circuit structure. We propose a randomised approach compared to previous works with exhaustive creation processes and the capability for marking immutable positions within the circuit. These features facilitate the preservation of program structure, which is crucial for future applications such as metamorphic testing. © 2024, CC BY-NC-SA.

Phishing and spam emails are evolving threats in today's digital landscape, posing significant risks to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Despite the growing demand for email security solutions, SMBs often face barriers such as high costs and complexity. To address this gap, this study introduces a cost-effective, multi-layered email security solution leveraging machine learning. The proposed system comprises four core components: (1) spam detection using natural language processing (NLP) to analyze email content, (2) phishing URL and QR code detection by identifying malicious patterns and attributes, (3) attachment security analysis to detect malware and harmful scripts, and (4) suspicious URL detection focusing on JavaScript obfuscation. The model was trained and validated on publicly available datasets, achieving an overall accuracy of 85% and demonstrating effectiveness in identifying diverse email threats. Designed as an email client, this tool empowers SMBs to secure communication with an accessible and robust defense against email-based attacks

This study aims to analyze the impact of user interface (UI) design on customer satisfaction and loyalty in SaaS e-commerce applications, using a quantitative approach to measure the perceptions of SaaS e-commerce application users and determine how visual aspects and interface functionality contribute to the user experience, with data analysis conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, indicating that an intuitive and responsive interface design significantly influences increased customer satisfaction, which in turn strengthens their loyalty to the application; the study seeks to provide insights that developing an effective user interface is crucial for building long-term relationships with customers and reaffirms the importance of integrating good interface design in e-commerce application development strategies, and further suggests that incorporating user-centered design principles and continuously collecting user feedback can enhance the user experience, thereby allowing developers to create interfaces that not only attract users but also retain them, essential for e-commerce businesses aiming to improve user engagement and loyalty in a highly competitive market.

Contrast is very important in analyzing medical images, and some contrast enhances the methods that could be very helpful when the image contrast is not good. The enhancement of Deep Super-Resolution (EDSR) is the deep learning (DL) technique that improves the quality and resolution of low-resolution images. Within this study, a transfer learning method grounded in a convolutional neural network (EDSR-Modified) is leveraged for enhancing contrast in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMR). The study conducts experiments at the S7 ISP and ACDC datasets, utilizing the S7 ISP dataset for training and the ACDC dataset for testing the assessment enhancement. This study aims to combine EDSR-Modified with transfer learning to improve CMR image quality, which is used to diagnose cardiovascular diseases. Qualitative comparisons are performed using mean squared error (MSE), peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), and SSIM evaluation metrics. It is observed that the proposed technique outperforms the other techniques.
