Melanoma is a malignant form of cancer that affects the skin and has a particularly high mortality rate, so it requires early detection to increase the level of safety for users. Diagnosis and detection of skin cancer are usually done through manual screening and visual inspection. This process requires a long time, has high complexity, is subjective, and is prone to errors. CNN is one of the algorithms with advantages in accurate classification. In this research, early detection and classification of melanoma cancer were carried out based on two classes, namely benign and malignant using the Convolutional Neural Network method. Our proposed method yields an accuracy of 81.11% for the validation data. The accuracy results obtained can be improved by using more datasets and increasing the number of layers used. This study uses the CNN method using MobileNet V2 architecture to detect melanoma skin cancer. The class used is benign and malignant. © 2023 IEEE.

Emotion is a mental condition that appears spontaneously based on self-conscious effort and usually followed by physiological changes. Emotion is especially caused by stimulation. The related information with emotional condition by someone is communicated to all body through ECG. Therefore, it is important to conduct a research in analysis of emotion based on the measurement of ECG. Data emotion was categorised according to the stimulation that had been given to the subject by using video and music as long as ECG recorded. ICA method analysis with FastICA algorithm could be developed to obtain emotion feature. Feature classification was based on statistical approach from the independent component with higher of kurtosis value. The proposed method in classification was based on decision tree using Random Forest algorithm. The classification result shows that the emotional recognition based on ECG signals can be well implemented by system. The developed method successfully classifies the emotional condition from ECG signals. The method achieves the accuracy of 92.2% for identification of neutral emotion, 93.9% for negative emotion and 92.1% for positive emotion. The value of ICSI is obtained about 81.2% for neutral conditions, 88.3% for negative emotions and 85.1% for positive emotions, it means that the system is successfully to classify individually and effective for overall. © 2014 IEEE.

Digital image processing aims to improve the quality of an original image so that it can display an image that is relatively better than the original image, so as to obtain the detailed information needed for an analysis need. Quality degradation Biomedical images in computerization usually experience changes in brightness, blur, and contrast stretching. Because of the deterioration in the image quality, doctors and patients cannot obtain the information needed for analysis, therefore the need for biomedical image processing techniques with spatial domain methods to improve the quality and details of information in the image so that it helps doctors in diagnosing. Data analysis is biomedical images like X-ray images, CT-Scan (Computer Tomographic Scan) images, and USG (Ultrasound Graphic) images. A focused study on improving image quality can be done with digital spatial domain image processing techniques. Digital domain image processing is digital image processing based on the manipulation of pixel values in the image directly, in the form of point processing and mask processing. Process testing for each image for Blur level is CT-scan images with a value of 0.98436, ultrasound images with a value of 0.9875, X-ray images with a value of 0.9836. This value is blur level value get near to 1 which means the image becomes clearer. The analysis results prove that the spatial domain method can clarify the object image in this study. The biomedical image quality processing model is proven to be able to improve the quality of the image that is declining due to the digitization process and assist the user in analyzing the biomedical image. © 2021 IEEE.

Good air quality is very important in human health. However, air pollution has been polluted everywhere, whether in the house, in cities. This is caused by a growing industry that produces air pollution. Room air pollution and various cities will contribute to air pollution, which will cause problems for human health. This work measures the carbon monoxide level using the MQ-7 sensor and measures the air's carbon dioxide level with the CCS811 sensor and MH-Z19 sensor. All three sensors are connected to the NodeMCU ESPS266, and we call it a NodeMCU module. Tests are carried out in three rooms in the house, and then three NodeMCU modules are used so that the three modules will send data alternately. Raspberry Pi3 (RPi3) functions as a server that collects data and acquires information data from sensors. Data from the CCS811 (TCOV) sensor, MH-Z19 (co2), will be processed first with fuzzy logic rules to make decisions about CO2, which are right, moderate, nasty conditions. The process is carried out on the Raspberry Pi 3 server with MQTT using publication, customer, fuzzy logic, and broker services. The value of the sensor's measurement results can be accessed via a smartphone and provides good air control values. © 2021 IEEE.

Aims this study to analyze rehabilitation exercises using sensor data embedded in smartphones is widely used to recognize human activities regularly to gain a better understanding of human behavior. However, it is rarely used to measure accelerators of patient movement in hospital wards. This paper proposes an optimized neural network-based feature extraction approach based on the Long Short Term Memory technique to recognize human activity using data from a tri-axial accelerometer. The activity to be measured is the Range of Motion for patient rehabilitation, and rehabilitation exercises are one of the most important steps for recovery. The results of the softmax regression trained on the dataset set have 1, 076, 105 records and 12 class attributes (class distribution). The experimental results on the SAR dataset show that our Long Short Term Memory-based approach is practical and successful, with an accuracy of 89.74%. © 2021 IEEE.

Learning process at the information Systems study program in the Open University is independently performed and integrated with printed teaching materials that have been provided for students. However, printed teaching materials alone are not enough to assist the students to learn detachedly. Many students need additional explanations related to the contents of the printed teaching materials. Therefore, an interesting virtual application is required to assist the students to conveniently learn the printed teaching materials, anytime anywhere. The expectant application is a web-based virtual learning application, while the courses that would be presented in the form of web-based virtual learning are those requiring virtual explanation like computer network courses. In making this web-based virtual learning application, the researcher would use the SDLC (software development lifecycle) method. Prior to making the application, a design is required in which this design would be sent to the application developer. In this study, the results of the conducted design are an application design document that could be understood 100% by the developer, so that it could be used as a reference in developing this virtual learning application.

This systematic literature review (SLR) study aims to analyze the role of New Media as a Tool to Improve Creative Thinking, with relevant articles from 2018 to 2023 taken from reputable international journals. It uses three research questions (RQ) to explore New Media's relevance in stimulating creativity. The results indicate that interactive platforms such as social media and online collaboration tools positively influence creative thinking skills. Interaction through New Media allows individuals to share ideas, discuss, and be exposed to various points of view, all of which stimulate creative thinking. In addition, New Media also facilitates the creative process of solving problems and generating original ideas. The immersive experiences offered by this technology can enhance the exploration of ideas and increase the ability to think out-of-the-box. While New Media offers great potential to enhance creativity, there are also potential risks, such as false information, media addiction, and privacy concerns. Therefore, awareness of the wise use of New Media needs to be increased, especially in education and everyday life. Overall, this literature review provides in-depth insight into the role of New Media in enhancing creative thinking skills and driving innovation. With the right approach, New Media can be an effective tool in stimulating creative thinking and encouraging the creation of original ideas beneficial for future social and technological developments. © 2023 IEEE.

In recent years, assistive technologies have been adopted rapidly worldwide to increase quality treatments for individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including in Indonesia. However, adaption to a local context, e.g., using a local language, is needed to optimize the benefits. This study proposes an Indonesian version of an application technology called the media of visual communication for children with ASD (MIKA). The application development integrates agile scrum and user-centered design methodologies. The design and implementation are tested multiple times in the sprint reviews and usability evaluation to assure that the end product meets the standards of a therapy tool. MIKA offers a communication learning facility based on treatment and education of autistic and communication handicapped children (TEACCH) principles, a progress tracking and reporting feature, and a personalized content management tool based on user history and learning progress. ASD professionals, i.e., therapies and counselors, who participated in the sprint reviews and evaluations, acknowledged the advantages of using a tech-based therapy tool and the willingness to adopt MIKA. The MIKA project is in progress, targeting better facilitation of early childhood special education, and is now focusing on corrective maintenance and perfective improvements based on feedback from users and evaluators. © 2022 ACM.

Planck's constant experiment has been carried out to determine the value of Planck's constant using the regression analysis method. The steps are carried out using the scientific process outlined in the practical work steps. The specification of the experimental equipment uses the Planck constant experimental set with 12v/35w tungsten halogen light, 15v output, +-0.2% accuracy, 220V power requirement, 0.5A fuse rating and red, yellow 1, yellow 2, and red color filters, green and blue. Experiments using the concept of the photoelectric effect phenomenon began by irradiating metallic materials with light using a filter. The wavelength (635, 570, 540, 500, 460) nm is the light filter variation. The wavelength that hits the metal material is selected by placing a light filter on the light propagation path toward the metal material. So the light that passes through the filter is only light with a certain wavelength. After the metal material is irradiated by light with a certain wavelength, then the stopping potential voltage measurement is carried out on the metal material irradiated by light. From the variation of the light filter used, it is possible to calculate Planck's constant using the regression method with the value obtained 6.26x1034. This value is very close to the actual Planck's constant value which is 6.62x1034 so an error value is obtained 4.23%. With 95.77% accuracy, Planck's constant value obtained from the calculation using the linear regression method can be said to be very close to the actual Planck's constant value. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
