ICMIT 2005: Mechatronics, MEMS and Smart Materials

Heart disease is one of the main diseases that threaten the health and lives of human beings. At present, the normal remote ECG monitoring system has the disadvantages of a short testing distance and limitation of monitoring lines. Because of accident and paroxysmal disease, ECG monitoring has extended from the hospital to the family. Therefore, remote ECG monitoring through the Internet has the actual value and significance. The principle and design method of software of the remote dynamic ECG monitor was presented and discussed. The monitoring software is programmed with Delphi software based on client-sever interactive mode. The application program of the system, which makes use of multithreading technology, is shown to perform in an excellent manner. The program includes remote link users and ECG processing, i.e. ECG data's receiving, real-time displaying, recording and replaying. The system can connect many clients simultaneously and perform real-time monitoring to patients.

Dynamic scenes implementation for radio detector echo simulator

Up to now, the dynamic scene echo simulator for radio detector is still difficult to implementation with computer simulation. In this report, one dynamic scene implementation scheme was presented which was based on the radio detector scene models constructed by 3ds Max (3D studio Max) 2010. The idea is that the scene could be set up with more geometric data, material properties and other auxiliary information. Then, the scene must be converted into geometric data files and VRML 97 format files. The two file are actually the data version and VRML version and could be used separately from 3ds Max 2010. Thus, they could be integrated into the simulator constructed by our research project. During the simulation progress, the objects in the scene could have different location and movement states. And, these location and movement information could be updated timely in the geometric data files and VRML 97 scenes. Thus, the dynamic scene could be displayed by most VRML 97 browsers when the simulation last for a period time. At last, the echo simulator of radio detector verified the dynamic scene. © 2012 Asian Network for Scientific information.

According to the characteristics of telemetry system,a simple and reliable solar PV charge controller is designed,which has the function of over charging and discharging *** controller uses MSP430 microcontroller and other low power consumption integrated circuit and can reduce power consumption through the intermittent control *** segmented PWM charging mode is applied to reduce the separated gas of battery and the impact on the *** high side current measurement and control technology are applied to improve the measurement accuracy of the charging and discharging *** using interrupt technique,the design simplifies the self-starting protection circuit of the over current and *** and discharging data can be collected and the control parameters of the charger can be set up in this ***,the remote monitoring of PV system through the telemetry system can be realized.

In this paper, a mathematical model of flight pattern and flight attitude is established and analyzed. The flight pattern of the power patrol flight is analyzed. Based on the original linear quadratic optimal control algorithm, the motion and optimal control model of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) patrol process is established to meet the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inspection constraints, then a linear quadratic optimization Control based optimal control algorithm is proposed. In this paper, four-rotor aircraft as an example for simulation research, different motion models with different optimization control, and add different interference signals and the corresponding filter algorithm for antijamming performance testing. The simulation results show that the UAV can obtain good control effect by the linear quadratic optimal control, and its stability and anti - jamming performance can be improved obviously. © 2017 IEEE.

For solving global optimization problems, a new algorithm, which is called Fractal Algorithm, is presented. Feasible region is partitioned by fractal combining with golden section. Bad region is deleted gradually and finally optimal solution is remained. The full advantage of the local fine structure of fractal and the quick convergence of golden section method were taken. Hence it is high efficient and high speedy. The algorithm has following character: strong adaptability, adapting to a class of complex function. It needs only that the object function has one order derivative. The minimum can be found at any precision at which a computer can work. On the other hand, this method needs so little memory that it almost can be implemented on any personal computer and its efficiency is not almost influenced. The proof of convergence of the algorithm is given. The illustrations show the algorithm is effective. © 2006 IEEE.

To seek for new ways of measuring paper cutting to substitute traditional touched measuring methods, an untouched image localization for paper cutting system is proposed in this paper, which makes use of techniques of image segmentation, image match and measurement. The method of image processing in this system is discussed. The precision of the system and the factors that result in measurement errors are analyzed. Experiment results indicate that the measurement time is less than 0.5s, and the precision of measurement is 7mm, which verify the validity of the method. The method provides a new idea for online measurement and localization of objects. © 2006 IEEE.

An adaptive decentralized asymptotic tracking control scheme is developed in this paper for a class of large-scale nonlinear systems with unknown strong interconnections,unknown time-varying parameters,and ***,by employing the intrinsic properties of Gaussian functions for the interconnection terms for the first time,all extra signals in the framework of decentralized control are filtered out,thereby removing all additional assumptions imposed on the interconnec-tions,such as upper bounding functions and matching ***,by introducing two integral bounded functions,asymptotic tracking control is ***,the nonlinear filters with the compensation terms are introduced to circumvent the issue of“explosion of complexity”.It is shown that all the closed-loop signals are bounded and the tracking errors converge to zero *** the end,a simulation example is carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

To address the issue of grid-configured wind turbines being unable to provide adequate voltage support during instances of grid voltage dips and reactive load fluctuations, a grid-configured permanent-magnet direct-driven wind turbine generators (DWTG) voltage regulation control strategy with energy storage on the DC side has been proposed. Firstly, a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control strategy is adopted in the grid-side converter, which can provide reactive power support at the instant of grid voltage change. Secondly, by configuring the energy storage system on the DC side, the DC-side voltage is stabilized to the reference value rapidly when the grid voltage dips, and the machine-side converter is operated stably in the maximum power tracking mode. In tracking mode, the machine-side converter is stabilized in the maximum power tracking mode. In power tracking mode, the grid-side converter can generate additional power, thereby enabling the wind turbine to provide voltage support. Finally, the effectiveness of the strategy is verified by building a single-machine system and a four-machine and two-region system simulation through the MATLAB/Simulink platform. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to intelligent central management of all kinds of separate high frequency vibrating screen, the network system is developed. The master uses industrial personal computer (IPC), the slave uses PIC16F877 MCV. Concrete hardware connection, serial communication program flow about MCV and serial communication program about IPC by using Visual Basic 6.0 are given. The system has been put into use. The practice shows that it has reasonable design and has good performance. © 2009 IEEE.

In this paper, a method of forming the motion trajectory for the working tool of a manipulator, which processes flexible parts fixed on a universal fixing device, is presented. This method takes into account the appearance of deformations in the process of fixing these flexible parts. To do this, the fixed flexible part is first scanned using a vision system, which results in is created its 3D polygonal model. Since this part can be deformed in the process of fixing it, an automatic search is performed for deformed areas through which the motion trajectory of the manipulator working tool passes. Automatic search is performed by comparing the scanned polygon model with the reference CAD model of this part. After that, the base points of the working tools trajectory are shifted on the deformed areas of the flexible part using the developed algorithm based on the representation of the reference CAD model in the form of a dynamic cloth model. This cloth model moves in such a way that it fits close on the scanned polygon model of the part, while simultaneously moving the trajectory of the manipulator working tool. © 2020 IEEE.
