This research aimed to design, produce, and assess a snoring detection neck pillow for elderly individuals with snoring symptoms. The research process began with finding information on snoring. The data obtained were used to design a snore detection neck pillow in the form of a U-shaped neck pillow. The functional principle was that when the microphone module detects the snoring sound, it activates a vibrating motor to alert the snorer to awake or change sleeping positions and stop snoring. There was a program to control the operation. The results of the snoring detection neck pillow test with a sample size of 20 people showed an average efficiency of 80%. © 2023 IEEE.

Automated text summarizing helps the scientific and medical sectors by identifying and extracting relevant information from articles. Automatic text summarization is a way of compressing text documents so that users may find important and useful information in the original text in reduced time. We will first review some new works in the field of summarization that uses deep learning approaches, and then we will explain the application to COVID-19 related research papers. The ease with which a reader can grasp written text is referred to as the readability test. The substance of text determines its readability in natural language processing. We constructed word clouds using the abstracts' most commonly used text. By looking at those three measurements, we can determine the performance measures of ROUGE-1, ROUGE-2, ROUGE-L, ROUGE-L-SUM. Our findings indicated that Distilbart-mnli-12-6 and GPT2-large outperform than others considered. © 2022 IEEE.

In offshore aquaculture operations, personnel equipped with diving gear are often necessary to inspect the underwater net cages for damage, particularly on the sea floor. This manual inspection process is time-consuming and complex. To overcome this problem, this paper proposes a computer vision solution for identifying damage in underwater net cages to address the inefficiencies and challenges of traditional manual inspections. The proposed scheme utilizes a high-performance multi-branch computational architecture designed based on ShuffleNet architecture to detect net cage damage more efficiently. Experimental results demonstrate that this work performs well on the ImageNet ILSVRC-2010 dataset and achieves an accuracy of 88.54% in underwater net damage detection.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L∗a∗b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%. © 2022 IEEE.

A Novel Machine Learning Classifier Based on Genetic Algorithms and Data Importance Reformatting

In this paper, a novel classification algorithm that is based on Data Importance (DI) reformatting and Genetic Algorithms (GA) named GADIC is proposed to overcome the issues related to the nature of data which may hinder the performance of the Machine Learning (ML) classifiers. GADIC comprises three phases which are data reformatting phase which depends on DI concept, training phase where GA is applied on the reformatted training dataset, and testing phase where the instances of the reformatted testing dataset are being averaged based on similar instances in the training dataset. GADIC is an approach that utilizes the exiting ML classifiers with involvement of data reformatting, using GA to tune the inputs, and averaging the similar instances to the unknown instance. The averaging of the instances becomes the unknown instance to be classified in the stage of testing. GADIC has been tested on five existing ML classifiers which are Support Vector Machine (SVM), K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN), Logistic Regression (LR), Decision Tree (DT), and Naïve Bayes (NB). All were evaluated using seven open-source UCI ML repository and Kaggle datasets which are Cleveland heart disease, Indian liver patient, Pima Indian diabetes, employee future prediction, telecom churn prediction, bank customer churn, and tech students. In terms of accuracy, the results showed that, with the exception of approximately 1% decrease in the accuracy of NB classifier in Cleveland heart disease dataset, GADIC significantly enhanced the performance of most ML classifiers using various datasets. In addition, KNN with GADIC showed the greatest performance gain when compared with other ML classifiers with GADIC followed by SVM while LR had the lowest improvement. In this research, the design of the earthworm rearing house was presented. Internet of Things, in which the research has designed houses and various equipment to be designed. The results showed that the traditional way of raising earthworms by walking to check the humidity in the cultured basin by touching and regularly watering compared to using the IOT system to measure the moisture. And there is a notification when the humidity drops below or above the specified threshold. and has an automatic watering system when the humidity is below a specified threshold It was found that the IOT-based method was more productive than the traditional method. © 2023 IEEE.

This study is dedicated to a critical investigation of the existing approaches toward a data visualization management platform based on Fast Health Interoperability Resources (FHIR). Despite the growing popularity of FHIR, the available evidence provides a compelling reason to believe that its use is still accompanied by a significant number of technical challenges. Therefore, the development of tools to ensure its convenient visualization remains a pressing need for a variety of stakeholders operating in the healthcare industry. Results of the systematic literature review that included 26 studies provide valuable information about the most popular instruments in this area, such as the OpenEHR CKM approach. The review offers a critical discussion of the most important advantages and disadvantages of different approaches. It provides valuable recommendations for further research as well as practical recommendations concerning the best ways to utilize data visualization platforms based on FHIR. It defines the tradeoff of functionality versus the ease of dissemination as one of the most important problems facing most platforms and suggests avenues for developing additional tooling support for visualizing FHIR. The results of the research could be useful both for scientists and practitioners. © 2022 IEEE.

This research explores the vital role of penetration testing in cybersecurity, specifically its alignment with ISO 27001:2022, COBIT 2019, and NIST CSF standards in the context of crypto asset exchange management. In agricultural water research, the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has emerged as a pivotal approach for large-scale data collection. Water availability in the context of water quality is very important, both for domestic and industrial purposes. For domestic purposes, drinking water and bathing water are separated. Meanwhile, for the palm oil industry, boiler filler is differentiated from additional process water (dilution water). Water quality parameters can be assessed from turbidity and Total Dissolve Solid (TDS). Measurements using measuring instruments separately and repeatedly require significant energy, time, and costs. This research was conducted with the primary objective of presenting a novel method for categorizing water quality with the approach of IoT sensor technology. The research methodology entailed the utilization of an integrated IoT water sensors system in conjunction with manual water categorization. The methods consist of (1) system design, (2) design and installation of sensor and IoT-based microcontrollers, and (3) accuracy and precision testing compared with laboratory measurements. The precision of the integrated IoT water sensors was assessed through a dedicated sensor precision test, resulting in an accuracy rate of 94.4% for the turbidity sensor and 97.5% for the TDS sensor. Notably, this approach successfully discriminated drinking water with valid categorization, while other water types, including groundwater, water with tea, and water with coffee, yielded null categorization results. © 2023 IEEE.

Sports science is an interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary science that strives to increase athletic performance and endurance. Sport science recognizes and prevents injuries. Sensors and statistics formalize Sports science. Runners need coaches and teams to support them before, during, and after the run race. Coaches generate running training plans to boost performance. Running race performances may be impacted by air pollution exposure while training, so coaches should consider limiting air pollution exposure when training. One of the external factors is Particulate Matter (PM2.5 and PM10). Sensors connecting to the Internet can record external factors and produce csv data. The foundation of supervised machine learning is the labeling process. Labeling a set of data is one of the laborious and time-consuming phases in every machine-learning application because it requires verifying the accuracy of the labels and making any necessary revisions. This research aimed to find a solution to automatically label numerous air particulate matter raw data using a rule based on parameters to reduce manual work, human errors and faster processes. This labeled data will later be used for supervised machine learning classification to support the coach in generating training programs for the runners in a Sports information System. Based on Indonesia Air Quality index rule-based approach, labeled text data in csv has been generated and tested with PM2.5 and PM10 parameters in three scenarios with a 100% success rate. It was possible to automate the labeling process, and it explained how automation results in fast and accurate results. © 2023 IEEE.
