Design Securing Online Payment Transactions Using Stegblock Through Network Layers

The aim of this work is designing a safe online payment activities scheme using steganography techniques with stegblock concept. These works are implemented at the computers network layers. The stegblock will convert the transactions data which sent among network into other data's form, it means the data such as ID Number, Account Number, Passwords and others are converted with other data called cover. Finally, the system sends the cover without the real data, it just represented data and able to read by the receiver. The result shows that this design provides data security, undetectability, and integrity for payment transactions using networks.

This paper intended to classify land cover of high-resolution satellite image using supervised classification method. The object of this research was the land cover image of the central java area in Indonesia which chosen as an area observed with the cloud cover consideration. The Satellite image was obtained from Sentinel-2 through https://***. Supervised Classification and ArcMap 10.5 was used to classified image object. This research classified the land cover into four classifications class namely Water, Forest, Urban and Bare Land due to show the main classes in the Land Cover Classification of RSNI-l National Standardization Body of Indonesia, RSNI-l was used as reference for classification process. The confusion matrix used to calculate classification accuracy value. Subsequently, confusion matrix results compared to the truth information. The truth information was derived from the actual value of RASTERVALUE obtained from Google Earth. This research shown supervised classification maximum-likelihood classification has been classified land cover into four class (forest, water body, urban and bare land) with overall accuracy = 1 and kappa value = 0.4896. This result showed this research got moderate kappa accuracy value but high overall accuracy value. High accuracy value reached due to fully supervised experiment during classification process.

EBITDA is a measure of a company's financial performance. It can determine the direction of business decisions for the organization, can be used to analyze and compare profitability among companies. By its linear and non-linear combination, appropriate forecasting technique must be determined. The aim of this paper is to propose a methodology for forecasting EBITDA. We propose a three-steps methodology which is composed of data preparation, forecasting model comparison and evaluation steps. The results from using 10 years monthly data of the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) reveal that the best model is ARIMA-ANN hybrid model. Thus, this model can be used to forecast the other time series data such as Selling Expenses, Operating Expense, General and Administrative Expenses in the future.

One main cause of inaccurate forecasts is that data may contain noises and outliers. In the case of the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA), the inaccuracy of analyzing and forecasting the number of water users is due to outliers contained in data sources. Some branches of PWA collected errors such as the very high or very low number of water users. This has a direct impact on the quality and reliability of the predictive accuracy output. The removal of the “outliers” is thus critical for accurate interpretation of the data. The purpose of this paper is to detect outliers in water consumption time series data. We examined two techniques: (1) a method based on autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) time series modeling and (2) median absolute deviation (MAD). A clustering technique (K-Mean) is used as a pre-processing step in order to identify appropriate parameters for the two outliers detection techniques. The results showed that, with the precise parameter values obtained from K-Mean, both ARIMA and MAD performed very well on water consumption time series data. The two techniques are able to generate high sensitivity and specificity outputs.

KAGRA, the underground and cryogenic gravitational-wave detector, was operated for its solo observation from February 25 to March 10, 2020, and its first joint observation with the GEO 600 detector from April 7 to April 21, 2020 (O3GK). This study presents an overview of the input optics systems of the KAGRA detector, which consist of various optical systems, such as a laser source, its intensity and frequency stabilization systems, modulators, a Faraday isolator, mode-matching telescopes, and a high-power beam dump. These optics were successfully delivered to the KAGRA interferometer and operated stably during the observations. The laser frequency noise was observed to limit the detector sensitivity above a few kilohertz, whereas the laser intensity did not significantly limit the detector sensitivity.

In response to numerous programs seeking to advance quantum education and workforce development in the United States, experts from academia, industry, government, and professional societies convened for a National science Foundation-sponsored workshop in February 2024 to explore the benefits and challenges of establishing a national center for quantum education. Broadly, such a center would foster collaboration and build the infrastructure required to develop a diverse and quantum-ready workforce. The workshop discussions centered around how a center could uniquely address gaps in public, K-12, and undergraduate quantum information science and engineering (QISE) education. Specifically, the community identified activities that, through a center, could lead to an increase in student awareness of quantum careers, boost the number of educators trained in quantum-related subjects, strengthen pathways into quantum careers, enhance the understanding of the U.S. quantum workforce, and elevate public engagement with QISE. Core proposed activities for the center include professional development for educators, coordinated curriculum development and curation, expanded access to educational laboratory equipment, robust evaluation and assessment practices, network building, and enhanced public engagement with quantum science. © 2024, CC BY.

The decision to determine whether or not a journal to be published in Majalah Kedokteran Nusantara can be decided by using the Decision Support System with certain methods. One of methods used is fuzzy logic method and is applied to the Microsoft Visual Basic programming language. From the results of the research, the first step that must be done in determining a journal is published was to identify the problem and to determine how to evaluate the quality of the journal which is done by calculating the parameter values of the variables that have been determined by the editorial board. The parameters used in the calculation were title of articles, abstract, background, content, conclusions and bibliography. The conclusions obtained from the research is to building a decision support system to determine a journal published in Majalah Kedokteran Nusantara using fuzzy logic method was not so difficult to do, because it utilized Fis Sugeno Matlab application and by using fuzzy logic methods and utilizing fuzzyfication to get linguistic variables were very helpful in determining how a journal is published. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In Indonesia rice is a staple food as a major source of carbohydrates. Rice is also a staple food of the people of most countries in Asia and even most of the population in the world. Food security for Indonesia is closely linked to the adequacy of rice provision. The indicators of national food security are (1) the availability of food every time; (2) the ability or purchasing power of the people towards food; (3) guarantee of distribution and supply of food; and (4) the ability to import in urgent conditions. Rice as a rice-producing crop is a very important commodity for Indonesia, besides being the main food producer, rice commodity is also the main source of income from millions of farmers. The availability of rice at affordable prices to communities is an important factor for national security, security and stability. Indonesia has a large population, the fourth largest in the world after China, America and India. Dependence on rice imports has a high risk not only of food dependency on other countries, but also limited availability of rice in the international market. In 1977 Indonesia imported 2 million tons of rice and accounted for one third of the rice available on the international market, affecting the price of rice. Increased rice production can be achieved through increased productivity with the application of technology varieties and better cultivation and expansion of planting areas with increased intensity of planting and printing or opening of new rice cultivation area. Based on the above explanation, the researcher uses Data Mining Clustering with K-Means to get the assessment result of all rice production provinces. With this method the results of the research can be used as a model of decision makers for the government to give priority attention to areas that have the potential to increase rice production.

This review presents a comprehensive perspective on the genomic surveillance of SARS-CoV-2 in Taiwan, with a focus on next-generation sequencing and phylogenetic interpretation. This article aimed to explore how Taiwan has utilized genomic sequencing technologies and surveillance to monitor and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We examined databases and sources of genomic sequences and highlighted the role of data science methodologies in the explanation and analyses of evolutionary data. This review addressed the challenges and limitations inherent in genomic surveillance, such as concerns regarding data quality and the necessity for interdisciplinary expertise for accurate data interpretation. Special attention was given to the unique challenges faced by Taiwan, including its high population density and major transit destination for international travelers. We underscored the far-reaching implications of genomic surveillance data for public health policy, particularly in influencing decisions regarding travel restrictions, vaccine administration, and public health decision-making. Studies were examined to demonstrate the effectiveness of using genomic data to implement public health measures. Future research should prioritize the integration of methodologies and technologies in evolutionary data science, particularly focusing on phylodynamic analytics. This integration is crucial to enhance the precision and applicability of genomic data. Overall, we have provided an overview of the significance of genomic surveillance in tracking SARS-CoV-2 variants globally and the pivotal role of data science methodologies in interpreting these data for effective public health interventions.

This paper reports on the basic findings and future perspectives of a capacity building project funded by the European Union. The International Master of science on Cyber Physical Systems (MS@CPS) is a collaborative project that aims to establish a master program in cyber physical systems (CPS). A consortium composed of nine partners proposed the project. Three partners are European and from Germany, UK and Sweden; while the other six partners are from the South Mediterranean region and include: Palestine, Jordan and Tunisia. The consortium is led by the University of Siegen in Germany who also manages the implementation of the work packages. CPS is an emerging engineering subject with significant economic and societal implications, which motivated the consortium to propose the establishment of a master program to offer educational and training opportunities at graduate level in the fields of CPS. In this paper, CPS as a field of study is presented with an emphasis on its importance, especially with regard to meeting local needs. A brief description of the project is presented in conjunction with the methodology for developing the courses and their learning outcomes.
