PC computer is a flexible electronic device and can receive and process data quickly and accurately, and can also store data for a long time. There is a time when the PC hardware is damaged. So that it annoys the user. In connection with the problems that occur, the researchers aim to build an Expert System application to diagnose damage to PC computers using the Certainty Factor method by using Visual Studio 2010 applications and using Microsoft Access 2013 as a database. Applications that are built can be an alternative in knowing the type of damage and provide alternative solutions in handling damage to PC computer hardware.

The purpose of this research is to know how influence of mixture of pertamax with Tuak Nias (Tuonifaro) to fuel consumption at 125 cc engine To prove that Tuak Nias or Tuonifaro can be used as fuel mixture on motorcycle and examine how big influence of mix between Tuak Nias or Tuonifaro with Pertamax, conducting research by literature study method or literature study. Many authors use various supporting / input factors and supporting books related to the titles discussed. because Tuak Nias or tuonifaro contain low 4-5% ethanonic elements and contain 90% alcoholic elements so that the fuel easily burns easily in the combustion chamber and produces great power. Berkah Mart is one of the new minimarkets in Pekanbaru city which began to develop as a retail business to meet the needs of the community. In his operation, Berkah Mart still uses the traditional store management perception that the placement of product layout on sale shelves has not been through sales analysis. Existing products have not been reviewed from the consumer's point of view, whereas the marketing economics concept provides a variety of product and consumer management methods for business management in Berkah Mart, including market bucket analysis techniques and various itemset search algorithms. In this research, Market Basket Basket Analysis with FP-Growth algorithm is proposed to determine the layout and planning of goods availability. The application of FP-Growth algorithm proved to be useful in generating many and informative association rules to find out the consumer spending pattern at Berkah Mart in Pekanbaru. Moreover, from the rules of the customer association can be segmented separately to meet the specific needs of customers with cost-effective by using some special promotions for the general group. The experimental results show that FP-Growth algorithm can analyze quickly and efficiently informing consumer shopping pattern at Berkah Mart and can increase Berkah Mart revenue. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

We develop a concept for a waveguide that exploits spatial control of nonlinear surface-polaritonic waves. Our scheme includes an optical cavity with four-level N-type atoms in a lossless dielectric placed above a negative-index metamaterial layer. We propose exciting a polaritonic Akhmediev breather at a certain position of the interface between the atomic medium and the metamaterial by modifying laser-field intensities and detunings. Furthermore, we propose generating position-dependent polaritonic frequency combs by engineering widths of the electromagnetically induced transparency window commensurate with the surface-polaritonic modulation instability. Therefore, this waveguide acts as a high-speed polaritonic modulator and position-dependent frequency-comb generator, which can be applied to compact photonic chips. Copyright © 2019, The Authors. This study aims to determine whether students’ increasing mathematical communication skills, who received the Problem-Based Learning assisted by GeoGebra 3D Augmented Reality based on Culture, was higher than the increase of mathematical communication skills students who did not receive the problem-based learning model assisted by culture-based Augmented Reality. The students’ mathematical communication skills included connecting natural objects, pictures, and diagrams into mathematical ideas, expressing mathematical ideas orally, writing and describing them to symbols or visuals, using language, notation, and mathematical structures to present and communicate ideas to conclude. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a population of all students of SMP Muhammadiyah 04 Medan, Indonesia. Two classes were selected randomly from the available courses. The experimental class was treated with a culture-based Augmented Reality-assisted problem-based learning model. In contrast, the control class did not give any treatment. Data analysis was performed by t-test. The results showed that the increasing mathematical communication skills students taught through a culture-based Augmented Reality-assisted problem-based learning model was higher than the rising mathematical communication skills of students who did not receive a culture-based Augmented Reality-assisted problem-based learning model.

Depth Image-Based Rendering (DIBR) is an approach to generate a 3-D image by the original 2-D color image with the corresponding 2-D depth map. Although DIBR is a quite convenient to convert 2D images to 3D ones, there is a disadvantage in DIBR system that it cannot reach real-time processing due to the computing time. Against this, this paper proposes a method which is based on discrete wavelet transform and adaptive edge-oriented smoothing process, to speed up the computing of the system. The proposed method still preserves the original texture and thus the proposed method not only preserves the vertical texture but also reduces at least 60% of the computing time of the DIBR system. © 2018 computer Society of the Republic of China. There are several ways to deal with security issues of confidential data sent via the internet, including using cryptographic techniques and steganography. Steganography is the science and art of concealing information / messages in a media in such a way that its existence is not detected by other parties who are not entitled to the information. Instead, cryptography disguises the meaning of a message, but does not hide that there is a message because the file looks suspicious. The Steganography technique used here was End Of File (EOF). The EOF technique described how to add data or files at the end of the image file. For this technique, the size of data or files that will be hidden could be larger than the size of the image file. The hidden data will be inserted at the end of the file so that it will not affect the image. This steganography application is also equipped with a cryptographic function Data Encryption Standard (DES) at the time of insertion of data that functions as a generator code and encrypts data, so that the security of a data in the file is more protected and protected from those who are not entitled to know the data. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
