Human-computer interaction influences the effectiveness of e-learning knowledge transfer, so it is necessary to pay attention to user engagement and achievement. The aim of this research is to examine the factors that support e-learning knowledge transfer through achievement and user engagement (self-efficacy, self-confidence, self-esteem). The research method was carried out by surveying e-learning users, namely students, data from students was collected through quantitative questionnaires. The data is then processed using the SmartPLS tool through two tests, namely the PLS Algorithm and Boostrapping. The model was tested using inner and outer tests, and the data was analyzed based on the research hypothesis design. Student interactions with e-learning influence several behaviors that can support e-learning knowledge transfer performance. The research results prove that student e-learning achievement has a positive impact on e-learning knowledge transfer. Several supporting factors play a role in increasing e-learning achievement, namely self-efficacy, self-confidence and self-esteem of students. However, the supporting factors for students are only self-efficacy and self-confidence which are directly able to increase e-learning knowledge transfer. It is known that students who are less able to respect themselves in interacting with e-learning are unable to support knowledge transfer. The rules of human-computer interaction play a role in supporting e-learning knowledge transfer, studies on user behavior need to be considered, especially self-efficacy and self-confidence to support online learning academic performance. © 2024 IEEE.

The purpose of this research is to help save electricity within organizations and workplaces that use computers. Due to the behavior of general users today, they do not give importance to saving electricity. The researcher has developed an automatic computer shutdown system. with image processing via a webcam By using image processing techniques (Image Processing) applied to a webcam. By using a webcam to capture the user on the computer screen. Then the images are analyzed and examined with the principles of image processing with the Face Detection technique using the algorithm of Haar-like Features to detect human faces and ROI. Define a specific area of interest The system will then check the amount of inactivity on the screen. or does not show the face image within 10 minutes, the system will automatically turn off the computer. with image processing This research can make it easier to turn off computers when not in use. and helps to save electricity for the organization or agencies as well.

This paper proposes a perspective analysis of the barriers that inhibit the uptake of modular phones as well as feasible design and market opportunities. Electronic waste (e-waste) increases yearly, and precious materials are often improperly recycled. A few thought leaders have proposed modular electronics as a solution to reduce waste and harmful GHG emissions at all stages of the smartphone lifecycle. However, obstacles exist, such as planned obsolescence business strategies that tend to dominate the current market and technical challenges associated with sealing modular devices. To compete with existing smartphone products, such as iPhone and Samsung devices, the ingress protection ratings of the more repairable modular devices should be comparable. The paper will propose potential solutions to each of the identified obstacles.

The purpose of this research was to design, produce and evaluate a stray child warning system. The device has been designed by using 2 ESP8266 boards to receive signals as specified. The system will notify the information via Line Notify to let users know how far the board that acts as a Client is from the board that acts as an Access Point. Expressed in meters (m) in the notification line notify process. The test results of the system in terms of signal transmission between the Access Point and the Client can work well. Buzzer speaker and LED notification light according to the specified distance every time. Notifications to LINE Notify to mobile phones can be done every time.

Retail Sukuk is a product of State Sharia Securities (Sukuk) issued by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in this case the Ministry of Finance and sold to individuals or individuals of Indonesian Citizens through Selling Agents in the domestic Primary Market. This research contributes to the government and the Bank to be able to do the maximum promotion for the next sukuk issuance. The data used is data from the Ministry of Finance. These data are sukuk sales data with series 002-010 based on regional groups. The algorithm used in this study is Artificial Neural Network with Backpropogation method. Variabel masukan yang digunakan adalah kelompok wilayah bagian barat selain Jakarta (X1), kelompok Jakarta (X2), kelompok Indonesia Bagian Tengah(X3), dan kelompok Indonesia Bagian Timur (X4) dengan model arsitektur pelatihan dan pengujian sebanyak 4 arsitektur yakni 4-2-1, 4-3-1, 4-2-3-1 dan 4-3-2-1. The best architectural model is 4-3-1 with epoch 266, MSE 0.009918 and 100% accuracy rate. From this model, predictions of retail country sukuk will be made by region. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Reentrant hybrid flow shop scheduling with stockers in automated material handling systems using deep reinforcement learning

In smart factories, automated material handling system (AMHSs) replace manual material handling to increase production efficiency, in which stockers serve as the temporary storage for work-in-process inventories. Furthermore, costly machines and complex processes in advanced manufacturing lead to the need for multiple reentrant processes of the same workstation. However, previous works on scheduling problems rarely considered the function of stockers and reentrant processes, and their approaches were mostly based on metaheuristic algorithms. Recent advances in artificial intelligence enable the possibility of solving scheduling problems using deep reinforcement learning (DRL). Therefore, this work investigates the reentrant hybrid flow shop scheduling problem with stockers (RHFS2) inspired by AMHSs, and solves it by DRL. Firstly, the states, actions, and rewards of the Markov decision process for this problem are designed;and then, two deep Q network (DQN) approaches based on the actions for determining machines and jobs, respectively, are proposed. Simulation results demonstrate that our proposed DQN approaches outperform for finding better solutions of different-scale problems than classical metaheuristic algorithms. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

In the era of the global village, frequent cross-border trade in goods has made container transportation a significant part in delivery of cargo. However, rollover accidents of container trucks often occur because of tall truck height, improper cargo stowage or crooked roads. Therefore, how to find the optimal center of gravity (CG) of the packed cargo remains an issue that the transportation industry should not neglect. To optimize cargo stability and reduce the incidence of rollovers, this paper proposes a genetic algorithm that scores the cargo stacking process to find the best CG of the cargo based on the CG of the vehicle. According to the deviation angle and the point closest to the best CG, we can Figure out the optimal cargo stacking method. © 2022 IEEE.

Today's pluralistic and globalized society requires a global perspective in how we think, view ourselves, and relate to others to collaborate successfully with people with different cultural backgrounds. To support the development of a global perspective, universities cultivate international co-operations to enable international mobility for students, faculty, and staff. However, in-person mobility can be inhibited due to various reasons. To support a wider pool of students gaining international experience, modern digital mediated course formats can be used to offer virtual instead of in-person mobility. This contribution evaluates a digital mediated course for mechanical engineering students (Global Engineering, GE) held in co-operation between an US and a Portuguese university, where internationally mixed student groups working on design projects in an Hyflex setting. Asides a literature driven discussion about the need for Global Engineers and a detailed description of the GE course, a longitudinal analysis was performed to assess the impact of the GE course on the students' development of a global perspective. The longitudinal analysis showed strong statistical support that the digitally mediated GE course improved the participating students' global perspective, assessed with the Global Perspective Inventory (GPI), tremendously. The observed improvements were in three of the six GPI dimensions comparable to an in-person semester abroad. Limitations of the study and future investigations are discussed. © 2023 IEEE.

This article explores open-source intelligence (OS-INT) to identify the vulnerabilities and loopholes in power grid systems, focusing on an electrical distribution company operating in Turkey. The study emphasizes the potential risks of sharing publicly available information on social media accounts, websites, reports, and press releases which most companies overlook. It highlights that individuals or adversaries can exploit this information to harm companies and countries that may not be fully aware of these vulnerabilities. OSINT tools can efficiently gather interpretable data on a company, which companies unknowingly share. By refining the collected data, the study aims to understand the technologies used, their software versions, and any associated vulnerabilities. Web scraping tools extract data from the company's website, which may contain critical information about updates, ongoing systems, and technologies. The article provides a comprehensive understanding of the potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with sharing sensitive information and the various OSINT tools and techniques that can be used to identify and address these vulnerabilities. The importance of vigilance against the potential harm that remote or unrelated individuals can inflict using OSINT capabilitiesis underscored. This study shows how easy it is to detect vulnerabilities in a critical infrastructure system using OSINT tools. © 2023 IEEE.

Economic and technological developments are increasing over time, this affects environmental conditions and there have been real problems such as air pollution and plastic waste. This study aims to examine the positive influence of green brand image, green awareness, green advertising, ecological knowledge, environmental attitude and altruism toward green purchase intention. This study has six variables with the target population with the criteria of being at least 18 years old, and consumers who have used environmentally friendly products and consumers who are in Indonesia. Data collection in this study using online questionnaire to 170 respondents and used purposive sampling as a sampling method. The data analysis method for this study uses PLS-SEM with the Smart-PLS application. The results show that green brand image has a positive effect on green purchase intention, green awareness has a positive effect on green purchase intention, ecological knowledge has a positive effect on green purchase intention, and alturism has a positive effect on green purchase intention and the results of this study also show that green advertising and environmental attitude do not have a positive influence on green purchase intentions
