Innovative safety in the workplace is vital as the high safety risks associated with electrical engineering construction can lead to injuries or even fatalities. Using computer vision technology, we experimented with scenarios such as 'normal operations' and 'unexpected incidents' to enhance safety measures. We integrated an Internet of Things system into the setup, enabling the system to quickly detect and alert to unexpected events in real-time, thereby improving workplace safety. © 2024 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) is an environment in which digital equipment is augmented with sensors to share and receive data through network. When devices share data it can be effected by anomalies or any attack due to corrupted data or by any other uncertainty and ambiguity in data. The data can also be corrupted through a damage in device. These attacks or anomalies damage the working of the IoT networks. The anomalous data can be detected through detection techniques however most anomaly detection techniques depend upon labelled data but for IoT datasets, usually class labels are not available. Labeling is performed by a manual process which is time consuming and also costly. As data in IoT increases day by day so there is a need to label and classify data for future unseen data. In this paper a hybrid algorithm is proposed in which both clustering and classification techniques are applied for automatic labeling and classifying on IoT dataset. The model contains two function. In the first phase k-means clustering is employed for labelling dataset instances as normal or anomalous. In the second phase labelled dataset is used to train Random Forest model to detect anomalies in IoT networks. The results show that the proposed model is detecting anomalies in IoT networks with an accuracy 98%, precision 98 %, recall 98%, and F-meausre 0.98%. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper presents EVisionary, a system platform that analyzes the impact of climate factors on electric vehicle charging demand and predicts the charging capacity of electric vehicles. The platform utilizes big data statistical analysis methods and implements seven machine learning and deep learning time series prediction models to forecast short-to-medium-term electric vehicles’ charging demand. A case study of the electric vehicle charging data set in Dundee, Scotland is used to explore the relationship between climate factors and charging demand. Performance comparisons of the prediction models are conducted, and the platform enables users to set data analysis and forecast parameters for valuable analysis and forecast results.

The ATT&CK MITRE framework serves as an expansive repository of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures. Given the sheer volume of these intricate attack patterns, the conventional manual navigation method proves to be time-intensive and less efficient for security analysts. As a remedy, there arises a compelling necessity to present the rich content encapsulated within the ATT&CK MITRE repository through interactive visualizations. In this paper ATT&CKViz an interactive web-based cyber-Attack patterns visualization tool is presented that aims to empower security analysts with the ability to effortlessly explore the repository from diverse angles, which facilitates deep insights into cyber threats. The aim is to understand cyber threat efficiently with a timely response. The empirical evaluations depict that effectiveness and user-friendliness of ATT&CKViz. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the authors investigate the current state of the lighting design and control sector in Thailand's creative industry. The government aims to promote the creative industry as a key source of income, but there needs more skilled professionals in the industry. The authors have found that successful cases have used the Internet for remote controlling in the creative industry in other countries. Therefore, the paper will explore the potential of using technology to improve professional efficiency and assess the feasibility of implementing remote lighting control systems via the Internet with Thai lighting designers and lighting console operators. Data will be collected through qualitative in-depth interviews and quantitative surveys. The results have shown a promising acceptance rate of wireless devices for lighting control due to their mobility, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and positive attitudes toward adopting Internet technology. The authors have also proposed a concept design for an internet-based control system tailored to Thai users, focusing on simplicity, ease of connection, and user-friendliness to accommodate those with limited network configuration knowledge. The proposed system aims to reduce professionals, save time, and increase convenience, leveraging Thailand's extensive wireless internet coverage. These systems could significantly benefit Thailand's creative industry by addressing the shortage of skilled professionals and improving efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

In this research, the system that detects administrative behavior, credit card and developing corruption from credit cards through LINE applications. The objective of this research 1) To develop a risk notification system or suspect to be corruption of credit cards through the connection channels of LINE application 2) to measure the accuracy of the system developed. This research presents a classification between spam and non-spam messages by removing duplicate sentences or words. meaningless word and various marks The data is then classified by machine learning techniques and compared by differences between the data sets. Smart Home technology offers technological concepts that can be controlled through smart devices to make it easier for the community. Therefore, smart home technology is starting to seize the home electronics market in Indonesia, especially in the city of Jakarta. This study aims to determine the integration of conventional technology into smart home technology for people in Jakarta. The research model in this study uses UTAUT2 which analyzes nine variables, namely Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Cost, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, Perceived Compatibility, Trust, Perceived Pleasure, and Effort Expectations, Intention to Use Smart Home technology. After the responses were received, data analysis was carried out using the PLS-SEM approach with the SmartPLS application. The results of this study show that there are many people who live in Jakarta who are helped by the presence of smart home technology. However, there are some people who don't really know how to use a smart home because of a lack of knowledge about this technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Climate crisis is real if no movement for change are made. The outcome is disastrous and will affect numerous aspects including businesses and international trade between countries. Therefore, the objective of this research is to find whether there is a significant influence towards green purchase intention of environmental knowledge and environmental concern mediated by environmental attitude. The research type is quantitative and associative to find the causal relationship. 228 respondents who live in Jakarta and have purchased green products are obtained by purposive sampling method. The findings show purchasing intentions for environmentally friendly products or "green"purchases are significantly influenced by environmental knowledge, environmental care, and environmental attitude. The mediating variable, environmental attitude played a great role and strengthened the relationship compared to the sole direct effect. However, environmental concerns influence green purchase intention more significantly compared to environmental knowledge. information about how bad the current environment should be more disseminated and informed more efficiently and effectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Zero trust in cybersecurity: managing critical challenges for effective implementation

Purpose: This study investigates the challenges of adopting Zero Trust (ZT) as a security strategy in contemporary organizations, where traditional security measures are insufficient. This paper aims to provide a robust and objective framework for managing ZT implementation through an integrated approach. Design/methodology/approach: An expert panel of 29 professionals contributed to identifying and weighting key management criteria for ZT adoption. This study used fuzzy Delphi to achieve consensus and the CRITIC (Criteria Importance through Intercriteria Correlation) method to ensure objectivity in determining criteria importance. Findings: The results reveal four critical dimensions – culture, operations and processes, compliance, and investments – along with 33 specific criteria essential for successful ZT implementation. This study highlights the potential for reversal of rank under dynamic decision-making conditions, emphasizing the necessity for continuous refinement and adaptation. Practical implications: The insights derived from this research offer valuable guidance for security leaders, professionals and consultants in navigating the complexities of ZT adoption. By addressing managerial challenges and providing a structured approach, this study contributes to a smoother transition from traditional cybersecurity models to ZT frameworks. Originality/value: This research offers a novel contribution to ZT management by applying an innovative, management-centered methodology to systematically identify and prioritize the critical challenges involved. It provides a structured framework that enables security managers to prioritize critical areas – cultural, financial, operational and compliance – essential for the successful implementation of ZT. © 2025, Emerald Publishing Limited.
