Deep learning has excellent learning and feature classification abilities, extracting features in massive, multi-source, and high-dimensional measurement data. It also diagnoses and generalizes models without relying on manual intervention. Thus, it is widely used in equipment fault diagnosis. We introduce the common models of deep learning: deep confidence network, convolutional neural network, and automatic encoder. Using deep learning, the fault diagnosis of rolling bearings is executed, and the result provides the basis for future development. © 2023 IEEE.

This research aims to find out the effect of social media and green brand knowledge on its purchase intention through attitude as intervening variable. The method used in this research is quantitative method, by using nonprobability sampling-purposive sampling technique and multiple regression analysis. Researchers spread questionnaires to 211 respondents and use path analysis to determine the influence between variables. The results of this research are significantly: social media affect attitude, green brand knowledge affect attitude, attitude doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention, social media doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention, green brand knowledge affects green cosmetics purchase intention, social media doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention through attitude, and green brand knowledge doesn't affect green cosmetics purchase intention through attitude. © 2023 IEEE.

This research study presents an algorithmic approach for the detection and identification of key components on license plates, including numerical digits, province codes, vehicle colors, and vehicle makes and types. The methodology integrates image processing techniques and deep learning methodologies to achieve comprehensive image analysis. The algorithm incorporates image preprocessing techniques to optimize the input images, followed by a deep neural network trained on a large annotated dataset. The algorithm utilizes image segmentation and character recognition techniques to detect and classify numerical digits on license plates. Similarly, it employs segmentation and classification processes for identifying province codes, vehicle colors, makes, and types. Extensive training ensures the algorithm's accuracy and robustness under varying conditions. The proposed algorithm demonstrates the potential for accurate license plate component detection and identification, with applications in law enforcement and traffic monitoring systems. . ©2023 IEEE.

The concept of Digital Twin has been widely used by researchers to represent physical entities in computer-generated reality in the metaverse. In this research, a novel concept of 'Mobile Twin' is coined. Mobile Twin serves as a replica of a mobile device in the virtual environment enabling communication. The purpose of introducing Mobile Twin in the metaverse is to bring mobility and benefits similar to tangible mobile devices while eliminating the need for individual energy sources, storage limitations, resource usage, and efficiency. The true benefits of a mobile twin can be achieved with an architecture where computing nodes are decentralized, data processing is near the network's edge with faster response times and reduced latency. For this purpose, the mobile twin-based applications of metaverse are built over edge computing-based network architecture. This idea introduced the aspect of 'Revolutionary Ultra-low latency (RULL)' in the metaverse. © 2024 IEEE.

Deep gaining knowledge is a synthetic intelligence approach used to recognize complex facts. It uses many facts to recognize the complicated relationships between various factors. With deep learning, models can be built which might be capable of understanding the complicated patterns within big datasets. In this paper, we can explore using deep mastering in regression and type tasks on large datasets. In particular, we can use deep learning strategies to build a regression model that predicts a target value primarily based on the functions in a massive dataset and a classification version that can classify an object into one of the many classes of an extensive dataset. We can then discuss the overall performance of the fashions in comparison to standard models and talk about capability areas for development. Moreover, we will analyze the scalability of deep mastering strategies used on large datasets and discuss exceptional practices for building deep mastering fashions on massive datasets. Finally, we will summarize our findings and offer our conclusions approximately the use of deep studying in regression and type obligations on large datasets. © 2023 IEEE.

This study aimed to evaluate user satisfaction with a data visualization system designed to analyze agricultural product price trends for China trade. The system was developed using public data and Microsoft Power BI, employing the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process. By incorporating China's economic data and agricultural product prices, the system supports entrepreneurs in making informed trading decisions. The research assessed the system's effectiveness and usability, gauging its potential impact on China's agricultural trading market. This comprehensive approach to developing and evaluating a data visualization system for agricultural product price trends ultimately seeks to enhance trading efficiency with China. The study's findings provide valuable insights into the system's potential to improve decision-making processes in the context of China-focused agricultural trade.

Personal Health Record (PHR) allows individuals to access, manage, and share health-related information while actively participating in personal care management. The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and changes imposed by the government on the population enhanced the disparities among citizens’ ability to access healthcare. Thus, the purpose of this study was to provide an operating mechanism for understanding the effects of COVID-19 on individuals’ PHR adoption intention based on an extended research model, including the Innovation and Diffusion Theory and technology Acceptance Model. Structural equation modeling was employed to analyze the research model, using 390 valid responses from Taiwan. Findings indicated relative advantage, compatibility, ease of use, and personal innovativeness significantly influence perceived usefulness. Second, relative advantage, compatibility, ease of use, personal innovativeness, and perceived threat of COVID-19 significantly affect attitude toward PHR. Third, perceived usefulness and attitude positively influence PHR adoption intention. The current study provides policymakers insight into how Taiwanese individuals’ psychological, technological, and pandemic-related threat affect their willingness to use the PHR system during the pandemic to receive better care that could eventually improve their quality of life. © 2023 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.

In recent years, the global elderly population has been on the rise, and Taiwan is projected to enter the super-aged society by 2025. The health of the elderly has become a crucial global issue, particularly with diseases like sarcopenia affecting cognition and physical functions. In response to this trend, the government has actively promoted senior fitness clubs;however, the quantity of these clubs is insufficient for the elderly population, and some seniors find it challenging to participate. Traditional home-based exercise programs also tend to be monotonous or tedious. Therefore, this study introduces a supportive mechanism using serious games, incorporating image recognition technology to provide customized home-based physical training games for the elderly. The system features a senior-friendly gaming environment, is non-wearable, and easy to set up. It dynamically adjusts difficulty levels through real-time data, ensuring both safety and engagement in training. In summary, the system aims to offer the elderly a safe, enjoyable, and personalized platform for physical training assistance, addressing the ongoing challenges of maintaining health in aging populations. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).
