The automatic detection of outliers during the post-processing of the data collected by multibeam system is considered. A median filtering algorithm based on the mass-gravity model has been presented for the detection process. The stationary condition of the mass-gravity model is used to determine whether the detected point is an outlier. By using iterative method, we use only mormal points to modify the values of the errorneous points. The proposed algorithm is tested and evaluated using synthetic as well as real field multibeam data with the standard median filtering and the distance weighted median filtering. The experimental results obtained show that the proposed algorithm achieves better filtering effect on the multibeam data process.

Bathymetric data collection accompanied by all sorts of interference, the depth of these disturbances will bring the quality of the data and must be removed. In this paper, the effectiveness of an algorithm based SVM in identifying the potential outliers in multibeam data is proposed. The normal data detected according to 3σ rule are used as training sample. The errorneous data have been reconstructed by the SVM method. The SVM algorithm performance based different kernel function is discussed by experiment. The algorithm is tested and evaluated using synthetic as well as real field multibeam data. The results obtained show that the algorithm that detects most of the outliers with minimal data degradation is feasible and effective.

Pervasive computing is characterized by the integration with communication and digital media technology embedded to the people's living space. People can transparently access the digital service anywhere. Wireless sensor networks are a novel technology and have broad application prospects. With the maturity of the wireless sensor networks technology, pervasive computing is becoming a reality. It is become a new technology challenge to process the data streams of sensor networks for pervasive environment efficiently and to find useful knowledge in these data streams. A k-means data stream clustering algorithm based on sensor networks is presented. The main idea of this algorithm is to select the initial centroids according to the aggregation gain of the node, then to cluster the data stream using the average square error. The experimental results are showed that this algorithm is effective and efficient.

An estimate cost based algorithm for data aggregation routing in wireless sensor networks

Wireless sensor network should decrease the power costs of redundancy information and delay time. The technology of data aggregation can be adopted. Data aggregation by sensor nodes may reduce data redundancy and hence curtail network load. In this paper, we proposed a novel estimate cost-based aggregation spanning tree routing algorithm (ECAA), which adopted directed transmission model and message route mechanism. The idea of this algorithm is optimization of data aggregation route by estimate cost about energy, distant and aggregation gain, then realizes data aggregation trade-off in energy and delay. The benefits of the algorithm were verified through simulation experiments. © 2009 Binary information Press August, 2009.

FPGAs are increasingly being used to design high-end computationally intense microprocessors capable of implementing floating-point operations based hardware accelerators. In this paper, the throughput was improved by increasing the number of pipelining stages of the floating-point adder, and the feasibility of advancing the system clock rate was researched by making the most of plenty of flip-flops in FPGAs. The multi-paths floating-point adder/subtractor architecture that was the separate exponents/mantissas operations and the separate addition/subtraction datapaths was presented. On Altera's Stratix II series FPGA, we achieved throughput rates more than 375MHz (329MHz) for single (double) precision operations by 8(12)-stages deeply pipelining units. © 2008 IEEE.

Wireless sensor network should decrease the power costs of redundancy information and delay time. The technology of data aggregation can be adopted. A routing algorithm for data aggregation based on ant colony algorithm (ACAR) is presented. The paper applies directed transmission model and message route mechanism. The main idea of this algorithm is optimization of data aggregation route by some cooperation agents called ants using the three heuristic factors about energy, distant and aggregation gain. For realizing data aggregation by positive feedback of the ants, the nodes of wireless sensor networks should not maintain the global information. The algorithm is a distributed routing algorithm and realizes data aggregation trade-off in energy and delay. The analysis and the experimental results show that the algorithm is efficient.

Recent developments in processor, memory and radio technology have enabled wireless sensor networks, which are deployed to collect useful information from an area of interest. Since various sensor nodes often detect common phenomena, there is likely to be redundancy in the data. Data aggregation is an essential paradigm by combining the data coming from different sources reroutes - eliminating redundancy, minimizing the number of transmissions and thus saving energy. Inspired by the social behaviors of ant colony and the technology of intelligent entity agent, in this paper, we proposed a data aggregation routing optimization method based on ant colony algorithm using agent collaboration and migration. A number of ant-like mobile agents traverse the Wireless sensor network (WSNs) in search of data aggregation paths between given source-destination node pairs while seeking to optimum migrate probability based on updating pheromone. Also, we presented an evaluation Ant colony optimation (ACO) algorithm with data aggregation gain. Our simulation results show that our algorithms perform well in energy efficient compared with LEACH and PEGASIS.

Tree formation algorithm for data aggregation based on estimate cost in sensor networks

Wireless sensor network is a novel technology, and can be applied to both abominable and military environments. During gathering the data, wireless sensor network should decrease the power costs of redundancy information and delay time. The technology of data aggregation can be adopted. A tree formation algorithm for data aggregation based on estimate cost is presented. The paper applies directed transmission model and message route mechanism. The idea of this algorithm is optimization of data aggregation route by estimate cost about energy, distant and aggregation gain, then realizes data aggregation trade-off in energy and delay.
