The article considers in the intellectual processing of information, moving from a large unit of measurement to a smaller, more important unit of measurement, selecting sets of informative symbols and classifying symbols, developing modern recognition systems that help specialists in the field, as well as evaluating the states of objects to be classified, developing a classification algorithm for multi-class cases of educational samples. The development of a multi-class algorithm for symbol classification serves to develop the theory of symbol recognition. It deals with the construction of a decision rule construction algorithm. Its main purpose is to determine which of the given classes the recognized object belongs to. The complexity or simplicity of the proposed algorithm depends on the number of classes participating in the study sample. If the number of classes is two, then the formulation of decision rules is simple. That is why the classification algorithms proposed by most authors are solved for cases where the number of classes is three or more, the decisive rule in the matter of classification of objects is solved by making two classes. The construction of a multi-class decision rule for classification, which takes into account all classes at the same time, is a complex and urgent issue. In the article, in the classification of objects, a multi-level complex structured decision rule was developed based on special inequalities, and two-, three- and multi-class classification algorithms were developed.

The paper is formulated and tested a fuzzy approach to the formation of a lexicological dictionary of intermediate language in bilingual education. To estimate the degree of assimilation of the new term it is selected block of evaluation criteria, which based on observations students range marks and aggregated for subsequent assignment of the degree of comprehensibility concerning to this term as part of lexicological dictionary.

The overwhelming acceptance of social media creates opportunities to learn about facts and events that are echoed in posts, tweets and messages uploaded by users. Analysis of these data can lead to interesting observations and conclusions. Of special importance are aspects related to temporal and dynamic nature of these findings. This paper presents a simple fuzzy-based approach of pre-processing and analyzing Twitter hashtags. The obtained fuzzy clusters are further examined in order to gain insight related to temporal trends and patterns of hashtags' popularity.

Evaluating student performance is important for universities and institutions in the current student education landscape because it helps them create models that work better for students. The automation of various features related to fundamental student traits and behaviours that manage massive amounts of data efficiently processes these. To handle student records that included information about students' behaviour and how it related to their academic performance, the companies employed models of classification with mining concepts. Additionally, the quality of result classification can be substantially improved by using learning analytics and Educational Data Mining (EDM). The educational establishments are making an effort to lower the low student performance. To address this issue, numerous methods for assessing student performance have been devised, allowing the relevant faculties to intervene and enhance the final product. Three classes - Low Performance Student, Average Student, and Smart Student - were created using the K-Mean Clustering methodology for classifying student records. Features including grade point, number of deficits, student attendance, medium of education, and board of education are taken into account when classifying the data. In this case, the WEKA tool is also utilized for implementing the model and outcome assessments. © 2024 IEEE.

The nonlinear adaptation algorithm is considered as applied to stabilization of the center of mass of a moving object subject to nonrandom noise in the control variable. An unknown disturbance is a bounded and continuous function of time. To solve the problem of its modeling and suppression, the following result is used: continuous functions can be described as partial solutions of some differential equations. The developed control algorithm guarantees full compensation of the external disturbance under certain conditions. The simulation result of the obtained control is applied to a manipulation object.

For whatever reason, formal methods remain one of the more contentious techniques in industrial software engineering. Despite some improvement in the uptake of formal methods, it is still the case that the vast majority of potential users of formal methods fail to become actual users. A paper by Hall in 1990 [31] exaznined a number of ‘myths’ concerning formal methods, assumed by some to be valid. Preconditioning is a crucial operation in gradient-based numerical optimisation. It helps decrease the local condition number of a function by appropriately transforming its gradient. For a convex function, where the gradient can be computed exactly, the optimal linear transformation corresponds to the inverse of the Hessian operator, while the optimal convex transformation is the convex conjugate of the function. Different conditions result in variations of these dependencies. Practical algorithms often employ low-rank or stochastic approximations of the inverse Hessian matrix for preconditioning. However, theoretical guarantees for these algorithms typically lack a justification for the defining property of preconditioning. This paper presents a simple theoretical framework that demonstrates, given a smooth function and an available unbiased stochastic approximation of its gradient, that it is possible to refine the dependency of the convergence rate on the Lipschitz constant of the *** Codes 65K10 © 2023, CC BY.
