Nearly the whole Indonesian Archipelago is threatened by earthquake hazards, both on a small and large scale. This indicates Indonesia's susceptibility to earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and other geological calamities. With the assistance of other pertinent ministries and institutions, the National Disaster management Agency (BNPB) in Indonesia is in charge of carrying out disaster management at the national level. In order for mitigation to function effectively and efficiently, this research is vital since it is based on the establishment of an evaluation model for an urban knowledge management system in Indonesia. The goal of the project is to create an assessment model for Indonesian urban knowledge management systems that can be applied to the deployment of autonomous socialization programs for disaster mitigation. Factor analysis and regression analysis are the primary techniques used in this work. Regression analysis is used to create a model that can represent the current state of mitigation socialization and be used to develop implementation strategies in the future. Factor analysis is used to identify dominant factors in the implementation of knowledge management systems that support independent socialization. © 2024 IEEE.

The important role of information Systems in a company is to support business processes so that they become more effective and efficient, but information technology performance factors are also important to know so that the contribution of information technology infrastructure in the company can be truly measured with certainty. This study was conducted to provide an overview of how to determine key performance indicators in performance measurement through the IT Balance Scorecard. The Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) approach was used to process the data, several respondents were asked to provide their opinions through a questionnaire built with the development of research instruments based on the IT Balance Scorecard measurement theory. The results of the study showed that there were 4 (four) new factors that could be used as key performance indicators related to the four perspectives in measuring IT Balance Scorecard performance, namely: quality of information activities, application usability, IT division support, and information system integration. In particular, the usability of the application system proved to be an important element that influenced application performance. However, existing applications are generally criticized for providing inadequate quality information. The impact of this study will increase understanding of information technology performance measurement because the formation of a picture of the current measurement model that can be used to determine better implementation strategies in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

The main objective of the Indonesian government's 'Making Indonesia 4.0' program is for Indonesia to become the nation in Southeast Asia with the greatest potential for a digital economy. The necessity for changes in technical development that boost efficiency is one of many obstacles that must be solved. Seribu Islands' Pramuka Island is one of the DKI Jakarta Province's possible tourist sites. The Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-dept.'s data support this (Sudin Parekraf). Digital literacy must be used and carried out in a measured way to sustain the performance of this tourism attraction and to further develop it. Given the close relationship between digital literacy and socioeconomics, this study measures how well tourism destinations function when they employ digital literacy. The research methodology employed is the factor analysis method, which looks for factors that contribute to the success of tourist destinations. Regression analysis and digital literacy are used to create mathematical models that represent current conditions and predict future ones, which can then be used to inform development and simulation strategies. © 2024 IEEE.

The phenomenon of social commerce, demonstrated by platforms like TikTok, is seeing significant and rapid growth in the present day. Following the discontinuation of the commerce function on TikTok in Indonesia, an interesting occurrence happened, as both merchants and customers experienced a significant and intimate level of relationship. This is the basis for the conducted research. The objective of this research is to investigate the mechanisms via which closer engagement established. Previous research has identified four crucial aspects: Brand Trust, Influencer Trust, Gift Giving, and Sales Campaign. These factors are combined to develop a new research model that integrates the online consumer engagement model. Out of the 339 responders, a total of 207 were utilized for the analysis. SmartPLS was utilized to process the data. The study revealed that the interactivity factor has a significant impact on fifty-six percent (the highest) of customer engagement. This presents an explanation for the phenomena that takes place. This research holds significant value for the advancement of social commerce in the future. © 2024 IEEE.

This research paper investigates the brand health of local beauty products in Indonesia's e-commerce sector by analyzing consumer perception and market dynamics. Local brands have gained significant traction as the beauty industry flourishes in Indonesia, presenting a formidable challenge to international competitors. The rise of e-commerce has transformed how consumers engage with beauty products, making it essential to understand the factors influencing brand health in this digital landscape. Utilizing a mixed-method approach that combines quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, this study explores critical aspects of brand health, including brand awareness, loyalty, perceived quality, and brand associations. Additionally, it examines the impact of socio-cultural factors, marketing strategies, and product innovation on brand performance, highlighting how these elements contribute to consumer decision-making in an online shopping environment. This research provides valuable insights for local beauty brands seeking to enhance their competitiveness and strengthen their market position in Indonesia's rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape. While the study offers significant implications for strategic brand management, market positioning, product development, brand communication, and consumer education, it also acknowledges limitations such as sample size constraints and challenges in generalizing findings beyond the studied context. Ultimately, this research underscores the critical role of brand health in helping local beauty brands adapt to consumer demands and leverage e-commerce opportunities for sustainable growth in Indonesia's vibrant beauty market.

Wireless sensors and actor networks (WSANs) have been widely used in various fields, from basic data collection to precise real-time control and monitoring, including battlefield monitoring, rescue, and exploration. The actor nodes in a WSAN play a key role in processing and transmitting data, and because of the harsh environmental conditions encountered, network node failures are prone to occur. The failure of an actor causes a loss of connectivity with its neighbor nodes, resulting in network splits and failure to deliver messages between nodes. Therefore, determining how to quickly and autonomously recover network connectivity while minimizing the moving distance of backup nodes and the number of relocated nodes is crucial. In this paper, we propose a dynamic weight-based connectivity recovery (DWCR) method to minimize the total moving distance of actor nodes, the number of relocated nodes, the total messages sent, and the coverage loss rate. The proposed DWCR method involves selecting a backup node for each critical node by dynamically adjusting the weight. If a critical node fails, the backup node starts to move to restore the connectivity of the failed node. The simulation results indicate that the proposed DWCR method outperforms the recovery through inward motion (RIM) method and other methods in terms of minimizing the total moving distance, the number of relocated nodes, and the total messages sent. However, because the RIM algorithm requires the relocation of more nodes during the network process, the DWCR algorithm is slightly inferior to the RIM algorithm in terms of coverage loss rate. Nevertheless, the DWCR algorithm still outperforms the distributed actor recovery algorithm and the distributed autonomous connectivity restoration method based on finite state machine algorithm. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature.

The utilization of installment payment services, such as paylater, is currently experiencing a significant surge in popularity. This feature is provided by all forms of internet commerce. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge that this service does not just yield positive outcomes. A recent study revealed that a total of 200 students encountered difficulties with the payment option. Additionally, another study indicated that a total of 311 pupils encountered difficulties with the paylater service. The objective of this study is to conduct a comprehensive analysis to ascertain the challenges faced by pupils. The present study employed the Stressor-Strain-Outcome (SSO) framework. The study employed quantitative methodologies, including structural equation modeling and partial least squares techniques. A survey was conducted among 295 university students who are users of the paylater service. The study revealed that there are significant variables, such as the students' low understanding of financial risk (24.8%), other variables used in this study such as the variables of hedonism, urgent needs, service quality, user interface and user experience, which require attention. This study also found the need for UI/UX development in existing applications because the UI/UX variable that affects the actual use of installments (paylater) has a value of -15.4%. The research identified additional areas in the program that need improvement. © 2023 IEEE.

Team management is essential to achieve common goals. Although it sounds important, many organisations do not have appropriate framework to support developing an effective teamwork. As a result, organisations face high dissatisfactions, poor quality of work and high turnover. The article takes a case study of Spectrum Radio-Frequency Monitoring (SRFM) department, Ministry of communication and information, Pangkal Pinang, Riau. The SRFM has around 25 staff (divided into 6 task forces) are provided around 104 tasks to complete annually. There was no proper task management structure is found to manage those tasks. The stress level amongst staffs is quite along with dissatisfactions and high turnover. The article proposes improving collaboration mechanism by using MDA (gamification) method. The gamification is selected due to its popularity in promoting motivation and morale of staff in business. The outcome is expected to provide effective teamwork to reach common goals.

It is impossible to overestimate the critical significance that Human Resource information Systems (HRIS) play in enabling Human Resource management (HRM) operations using information technology to manage human resources within a business. This study uses the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) methodology to evaluate the effectiveness of an HRIS in an Indonesian manufacturing organization. The IT Balanced Scorecard and HRM features are used in the research as essential tools. A survey was carried out with 185 employees who were using the HRIS program. The results identify four factors-poor information quality, information systems integration, application usability, and IT division support-that have a major impact on HRIS performance. Notably, the application system's usability turns out to be a significant factor influencing HRIS performance, yet the current HRIS application is widely criticized for its inadequate information quality. The results of this study contribute to the body of knowledge by indicating the possible efficacy of HRIS in industrial organizations under ideal circumstances. Moreover, the parameters that have been found can provide significant insights for enhancing HRIS effectiveness in future scenarios.

With the advancement of technology, people constantly use IT through the Internet. In this modern living environment, many individuals exploit this technological landscape for illegal gains and criminal activities. Judicial investigation units gather relevant evidence from the crime scene and process it when a crime occurs. When the medium used in criminal activity involves information technology, it is referred to as digital evidence. Unlike traditional evidence, which leaves traces if moved or altered, digital evidence can be copied without any detectable changes, posing challenges to maintaining its integrity and accuracy. This article explores how digital identification can ensure that the content of a report matches the evidence seized at the scene. It also addresses how the validity of digital evidence, as presented by the investigating authority, can be upheld in court. Additionally, it discusses the use of digital evidence and electronic handwritten signatures to enhance evidence preservation measures. © 2024 IEEE.
