COLARADO (an acronym for collision avoidance radar able to distinguish obstacles) is a system for use in the control of autonomously driven vehicles, having static radar antennas. By combining the echos, resulting from 2 continuously emitting transmitters and 3 receivers, it is possible to compute the locations of obstacles in 3 dimensions. The main problem is to separate the real obstacles from ghosts amongst noise and clutter, up to a distance of 12.8 m. This paper discusses the signal processing algorithms as well as the related real-time parallel computer hardware and system software. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 1999.

This paper presents a novel biological neural networks based on memristive Tabu learning neuron (MTLN) model influenced by electromagnetic radiation. Despite the model having an unstable equilibrium plane, numerical investigation without the influence of electromagnetic radiation reveal that when increasing the memristor strength induces complex phenomena, including the coexistence of infinite bubbles of bifurcations, offset plane coexistence of various attractors. Furthermore, electromagnetic radiation can significantly impact the system's behavior, giving rise to hyperchaotic dynamics. A decent understanding is seen between the mathematical outcomes, approved through trial execution on an Arduino microcontroller-based. The insights gained from neural dynamics could pave the way for applications in neuromorphic computing, engineering, and brain-machine interfaces. Based on the complex dynamics of the model, a data privacy of biomedical data has been build and reveals good results, and enable to resist to robust attacks. © 2024 The Author(s)

A robust pattern classifier algorithm for the variable symmetric plane model, where the driving noise is a mixture of a Gaussian and an outlier process, is developed. The veracity and high-speed performance of the pattern recognition algorithm is proved. Bioluminescence tomography (BLT) has recently gained wide acceptance in the field of in vivo small animal molecular imaging. So that it is very important for BLT to how to acquire the highprecision region of interest in a bioluminescence image (BLI) in order to decrease loss of the customers because of inaccuracy in quantitative analysis. An algorithm in the mode is developed to improve operation speed, which estimates parameters and original image intensity simultaneously from the noise corrupted image derived from the BLT optical hardware system. The focus pixel value is obtained from the symmetric plane according to a more realistic assumption for the noise sequence in the restored image. The size of neighborhood is adaptive and small. What's more, the classifier function is base on the statistic features. If the qualifications for the classifier are satisfied, the focus pixel intensity is setup as the largest value in the ***, it will be ***,pseudo-color is added up to the result of the bioluminescence segmented image. The whole process has been implemented in our 2D BLT optical system platform and the model is proved. © 2009 SPIE.

With the development of artificial intelligence technology, the robot arm will be applied in more fields, undertake more work, and become an important assistant of humans. Especially in the manufacturing industry, if a perfect human-robot cooperation (HRC) model can be developed, in which the engineer is responsible for complex operations and monitoring the production process and the robot arm is responsible for highly repetitive and tiring work, the flexibility of the manufacturing process can be improved, the risk of personnel injury can be reduced, and the production line productivity can be improved. To realize the human-robot collaboration system that can be applied in various fields, the technologies of robot arm control, human-robot interaction (HRI), Radio Frequency Identification, machine-to-machine communication, and automatic speech recognition (ASR), etc. are combined in this research. Besides, the HRC in intelligent manufacturing is taken as the demonstration result of this research. In this application example, the human-robot interaction function is realized through smart hand gesture and speech recognition technology, which enables the user to communicate commands to the robot arm most intuitively and easily. The robot arm can execute specific actions, provide processing prompts, or read corresponding motion control command macros according to different commands, to realize various processing contents required by users. © 2020, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society. As the third generation of artificial neural networks(ANNs), spiking neural networks(SNNs) have many advantages over the traditional ones. Selecting proper spiking neuron models for the design of SNNs is important. In this paper, schematic and training algorithm of spiking integrated and fired(IAF) neuron model and probability spiking neuron model(pSNM) are introduced. By comparing the classification results for mobile robots' corridor-scene-classifier based on IAF model and pSNM,and the control results of mobile robots' wall-following controller based on spiking IAF model and pSNM, the similarities and differences between the two models are discussed. The similar and different features of the two spiking neuron models are obtained. IAF model is more suitable for the design of mobile robots controller than that of pSNM. While pSNM has better noise robust than IAF model. Spiking IAF model and pSNM are suitable for different situations.

Person re-identification has been a hot research issues in the field of computer *** recent years,with the maturity of the theory,a large number of excellent methods have been ***,large-scale data sets and huge networks make training a time-consuming *** the same time,the parameters and their values generated during the training process also take up a lot of computer ***,we apply distributed cloud computing method to perform person re-identification *** distributed data storage method,pedestrian data sets and parameters are stored in cloud *** speed up operational efficiency and increase fault tolerance,we add data redundancy mechanism to copy and store data blocks to different nodes,and we propose a hash loop optimization algorithm to optimize the data distribution ***,we assign different layers of the re-identification network to different nodes to complete the training in the way of model *** comparing and analyzing the accuracy and operation speed of the distributed model on the video-based dataset MARS,the results show that our distributed model has a faster training speed.

The paper proposes a data visualizing technique for analyzing social networks in order to identify and counteract inappropriate, dubious and harmful information. The proposed technique is based on the force-layout technique of drawing graphs in which the parameters of vertices and edges are calculated depending on the number of links. The paper provides an example of using the proposed data visualization technique for social networks analysis on the basis of visual analytics of several groups in the "VKontakte" social network in four display modes: without using the technique, in 2D, in 3D and in augmented reality. In this paper, we consider the unknown non-affine nonlinear systems with the input deadzone and external disturbance. To solve the deadzone effects, a Radial Basis Function Neural Network (RBFNN) is introduced to approximate the deadzone effects and improve the robustness of the system. Moreover, we estimate the disturbance in another RBFNN. Based on the Lyapunov stability analysis and the support of high-gain observer, the adaptive neural network control is developed via both full-state feedback and output feedback. Simulation studies are proposed to illustrate the control performance. The semiglobally uniform boundedness is guaranteed in the closed-loop systems under the proposed control.
