Education is one of the main indicators in national development efforts. The government in its efforts to realize national goals to educate the nation's life has made a policy for compulsory 9-year schools, namely elementary and junior high schools. To find out how many residents use the education facilities provided by the government can be seen through school enrollment rates (SPR). A high School Participation Rate (SPR) means showing greater opportunities to access education in general. This study aims to optimize artificial neural networks with the One Step Secant (OSS) algorithm. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) is part of the artificial intelligence system (Artificial Intelligence, AI) which is one of the artificial representations of the human brain that always tries to simulate the learning process in the human brain. The sample data used for optimization is SPR Indonesia data by province. Using 4 architectural models with 5 input variables, 1 shadow layer and 1 output. The best results obtained between architectures 5-4-1, 5-8-1, 5-16-1 and 5-32-1 are architectures 5-16-1. Obtained prediction accuracy comparisons using the One Step Secant (OSS) algorithm and standard algorithms namely 96.97% and 100%. The standard algorithm is superior in accuracy, the One Step Secant (OSS) algorithm is superior in terms of iterations.

It is crucial for the community including the government and health workers to collaborate to halt the spread of Covid-19. The idea of developing the mobile application surfaced from the previous findings. Previous researches have implemented and developed different features to better the application. The development of a mobile application to provide a platform that will assist people with information regarding patients that are around the perimeter of users to help notify them. With the help of the notification, users will be able to avoid the chances of them being in contact with the people (ODP), patients that are under surveillance (PDP) confirmed patients. All patients including ODP and PDP are required to have the application therefore, the Minister of Health will be able to track the geolocation of patients. Moreover, people will be able to be aware of patients that are around their perimeter. Therefore, with the help of the application, it will be able to help assist the community for them to be aware of and to be able to avoid being in contact with the infected patients.

Data that has many attributes or higher dimensions will affect the performance of the K-NN classification algorithm. In this study, the Gain Ratio implemented for selecting and reducing the dataset attributes to form a new dataset for the classification process is carried out with the K-NN. The dataset used in this study are the Breast Cancer Coimbra dataset and Hepatitis C Virus dataset obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The results showed that the Breast Cancer Coimbra dataset, Gain Ratio can improve the performance of K-NN with average value 0.535596 TPR, TNR = 1, NPV = 0.608279, FNR = 1, FOR = 0.391721, Accuracy = 72.85%. In Hepatitis C Virus dataset also managed to improve the performance of K-NN with average value TPR = 0.665596, TNR = 0,876667, NPV=0,738279, FNR=0,88, FOR=0,521721, and Accuracy=86,25%.

The data mining process requires a data set that can be used in determining a number of specific patterns to gain new knowledge. Large data sets (Big data) require special methods to get effective results. Included in this study are using big data related to the earthquake in Lombok. Earthquake research, especially in Lombok, is needed because Lombok is on three active plates in Indonesia, so that the danger of earthquake damage can be minimized. Earthquake data obtained from the Geophysical Station (BMKG) of Mataram has different characteristics and is complex, an appropriate method is needed, namely by detecting a non-parametric method with the Multivariate Adaptive Regression Spline (MARS). The use of the backward stepwise algorithm with the Conical Quadratic programming (CQP) framework of MARS, referred to as CMARS (Conic Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines), is used for optimizing the results. The conclusions of this study are 1. A mathematical model with a total of 12 basis functions (BF) has contributed to the prediction analysis of the PGA dependent variable. 2. Contributions of the influence of independent variables on the PGA value are the epicenter distance (Repi) of 100% and the Magnitude (Mw) of 31.08608%, while the temperature of the incident location (SUHU) of 5.48525% and depth (Depth) of 3,52988%. 3. Acquired areas that have earthquake hazard levels in the order of the most vulnerable are Malaka, Genggelang, Tegal Maja, Senggigi and Mangsit.
