In this paper is presented the improvement of the hardware and the optimization of the algorithm of a system for short-time weather forecasting, developed by the authors. With a purpose of reading of more parameters there are proposed some solutions, related with giving of more accurate forecasts. The features of the system are extended and by means of Wireless communication and access to Internet for connection with other similar systems and/or Internet servers for meteorological information. The algorithm of work of the system is optimized as for base methods for prediction are accepted the Trends and Persistent methods, and the read of the surface effects are reduced to the influence of the wind, the humidity and the clouds cover. This leads to reducing of the requirements for processing resources of the used microcontroller and the volume of the processed statistical data. Under account are taken some modern methods for atmosphere sounding, and by them to increase the accuracy and to extend the range of the given forecasts.

The ontological aspects of designing the efficient control systems of technological objects, which are operating in uncertain environment have been demonstrated in the research work. Design and monitoring of the control system have been outlined as the two basic tasks on the basis of the covered subject and problem domain of the research as well as the life cycle of the system. The subject domain, which consists of the ontology of objects and processes, has been described with the use of the system and ontological approach. The peculiarity of the developed ontological system lies in the knowledge on the uncertainty of technological objects and the conditions of their operation. The ontological system, which underlies the further development of an intelligent decision support system, has been formed alongside with the ontology of objectives. The advantage of the ontology based design lies in the scientific novelty of the knowledge presentation model and the practical relevance for designers, developers, and researchers of the control systems for technological objects operating in uncertain environment. © 2021, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In this paper is described the design and implementation of a device for non-contact ultrasonic studying of materials. Presented is a scheme solution of the device, into which are provided several key features for work with purpose for greater versatility. There are presented block diagrams of algorithms of the software necessary for some modes of work of the device with microcontroller PIC16F84A. These modes are related to the way for excitation of the ultrasonic transmitter and the synchronization of measurement. The principle of work of the system is described in details. The main feature of ultrasound waves is their high frequency, allowing to be broadcast in the form of a narrow beam of rays and their distribution to be examined by the methods of geometrical optics. This allows ultrasound to be used for scientific and applied research. By the nature of distribution and absorption in gases, liquids and solids can be obtained valuable information about the structure and properties of substances. This paper addresses the obstacle avoidance problem of formation control for the multi-agent systems modeled by double integrator dynamics under a directed interconnection topology. The control task is finished by a leader-follower formation scheme combined with an artificial potential field(APF) *** leader-follower scheme is carried out by taking the desired trajectory with the desired velocity as virtual leader, while the APF method is carried out by dealing with the obstacles as the high potential points. When the obstacle avoidance tasks are finished, the artificial potential forces degrade the formation performance, so their undesired effects are treated as disturbances, which is analyzed by the robust H∞performance. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, it is proved that the proposed formation approach can realize the control objective. The result is also extended to the switching multi-agent formation. The effectiveness of the proposed formation scheme is further confirmed by simulation studies.

Currently healthcare is one of the main problems in Indonesia, particularly with the primary care provided by hospitals. Problems that often occur at hospitals in Indonesia was shown from the high malpractice rate in Indonesia, this problem made public confidence to the hospital was decline, this is indicated by the increasing number of Indonesian citizens who choose to seek the treatment at the hospital in neighboring countries. The suspected problems related to the knowledge management capability of the hospital. This study aims to reveal the role of knowledge management capabilities on the performance of hospital services and provide a prototype system that can improve the knowledge management capabilities of the hospital. The sample for this study are hospitals located in Jakarta. Where the respondent is the head of the hospital. The research method that will be used in this research is qualitative and quantitative method. This research generated a framework strategy to improve knowledge management capability at hospital by looking at factors influencing knowledge management capability of hospital in Indonesia, especially Jakarta. © 2018 IEEE.

The business opportunities in after-sales services such as condition based maintenance were noticed by many vendors of process and automation equipment before adequate standards and architectures became available. Consequently, at a client's premises there are many units of process equipment, software modules and Internet connections that have been installed by different vendors, and this uncoordinated work has created serious interoperability, maintainability and security problems. This paper proposes an open standards-based service architecture for industrial telematics that supports interoperability, software component lifecycle management and secure execution and communication of components in a multi-vendor environment. © 2004 IEEE.

Ensuring secure communication in large scale wireless networks is a challenging issue, especially when the nodes participating in the network itself cannot be trusted fully. This situation is very much pertinent in the case of multi-hop wireless cooperative networks, where the nodes co-operate with each other to support multi-hop communication in the network. In such networks, assuming the presence of a trusted third party to provide key exchange and authentication services in the network is not viable. Additionally, the classical Diffie-Hellman based key establishment mechanism as such cannot be used because of Man-In-The-Middle and impersonation attacks, as the nodes participating in a multi-hop path from source to destination cannot be trusted. In this paper, we investigate the use of the multi-paths and secret sharing in multi-hop cooperative adhoc networks to provide practical secure communication between the nodes in the network. We propose a couple of routing algorithms that give multiple-paths to send different segments of information required to be communicated securely, under various behavioral models of the participating nodes. The simulation results show that the majority of times, we are able to find the multiple paths in the network through which the different segments of a piece of information can be sent to achieve desirable security. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In order to meet QoS demands from customers, currently, ISPs over-provision capacity. Networks need to continuously monitor performance metrics, such as bandwidth, packet loss etc., in order to quickly adapt forwarding rules in response to changes in the workload. The packet loss metric is also required by network administrators and ISPs to identify clusters in network that are vulnerable to congestion. However, the existing solutions either require special instrumentation of the network or impose significant measurement overhead. Software-Defined Networking (SDN), an emerging paradigm in networking advocates separation of the data plane and the control plane, separating the network’s control logic from the underlying routers and switches, leaving a logically centralized software program to control the behavior of the entire network, and introducing network programmability. Further, OpenFlow allows to implement fine-grained Traffic Engineering (TE) and provides flexibility to determine and enforce end-to-end QoS parameters. In this paper, we present an approach for monitoring and measuring online per-flow as well as per-port packet loss statistics in SDN. The controller polls all the switches of the network periodically for port and flow statistics via OpenFlow 1.3 multipart messages. The OpenFlow compliant switches send cumulative statistics of sent and received packets to the controller that includes raw packets (control, non-user generated packets responsible for network management);which, although not being part of the end-to-end data traffic, get counted and act as noise in the statistics. The proposed method takes into account the effect of raw packets and thus, hamper the accuracy of methods. Other implementations propose approaches for per-flow packet loss only. In SDN based networks, for network management such as monitoring, performance tuning, enforcing security, configurations, calculating QoS metrics etc. a certain fraction of traffic is responsible. It consists of packets for many network protocols such as DHCP, MLD, MDNS, NDP etc. Most of the time these packets are created and absorbed at midway switches. We refer to these as raw packets. Cumulative statistics of sent and received traffic is sent to the controller by OpenFlow compliant switches that includes these raw packets. Although, not part of the data traffic these packets get counted and leads to noise in the measured statistics and thus, hamper the accuracy of methods that depend on these statistics such as calculation of QoS metrics. In this paper, we propose a method to estimate the fraction of the network traffic that consists of raw packets in Software Defined Networks. The number of raw packets transferred depends on the number of switches and hosts in the network and it is a periodic function of time.
