The configuration item values of each component within the autonomous driving system (ADS) are mutually constrained and complexly associated, which leads to problems such as configuration logic faults and memory overflow easily occurring during the configuration process, thus triggering the frequent occurrence of system configuration faults. This paper proposes a dynamic fuzzing method for configuration parameters based on static analysis of source code, through mapping and extracting configuration constraints within the system, realizing dynamic fuzzing for configuration parameters based on source code characterization, and completing the diagnosis of configuration defects and assistive repair functions. The experimental results show that the fuzzing method is effective in detecting and localizing configuration parameter defects under a variety of ADS anomalies, which not only dramatically improves the coverage rate of system configuration defect detection, but also achieves a configuration defect detection rate of 89.9%. © ICST Institute for computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2025.

Native jamming mitigation is essential for addressing security and resilience in future 6G wireless networks. In this paper a resilient-by-design framework for effective anti-jamming in MIMO-OFDM wireless communications is introduced. A novel approach that integrates information from wireless sensing services to develop anti-jamming strategies, which do not rely on any prior information or assumptions on the adversary's concrete setup, is explored. To this end, a method that replaces conventional approaches to noise covariance estimation in anti-jamming with a surrogate covariance model is proposed, which instead incorporates sensing information on the jamming signal's directions-of-arrival (DoAs) to provide an effective approximation of the true jamming strategy. The study further focuses on integrating this novel, sensing-assisted approach into the joint optimization of beamforming, user scheduling and power allocation for a multi-user MIMO-OFDM uplink setting. Despite the NP-hard nature of this optimization problem, it can be effectively solved using an iterative water-filling approach. In order to assess the effectiveness of the proposed sensing-assisted jamming mitigation, the corresponding worst-case jamming strategy is investigated, which aims to minimize the total user sum-rate. Experimental simulations eventually affirm the robustness of our approach against both worst-case and barrage jamming, demonstrating its potential to address a wide range of jamming scenarios. Since such an integration of sensing-assisted information is directly implemented on the physical layer, resilience is incorporated preemptively by-design.

This paper analyzes the joint Rate Distortion Function (RDF) of correlated multivariate Gaussian sources with individual square-error distortions. Leveraging Hotelling's canonical variable form, presented is a closed-form characterization of the joint RDF, that involves a system of nonlinear equations. Furthermore, for the special case of symmetric distortions (i.e., equal distortions), the joint RDF is explicitly expressed in terms of two water-filling variables. The results greatly improve our understanding and advance the development of closed-form solutions of the joint RDF for multivariate Gaussian sources with individual square-error distortions.

Currently, many researchers aim to achieve automatic depression level prediction via speech and video behavior analysis. However, previous works have struggled to decompose audio and video sequences into the information related to and unrelated to depression scores, hindering the model's perception of depression cues. Besides, previous works implement multimodal fusion using attention mechanisms or linear layers, but failed to simultaneously consider the Euclidean relationship among tokens and the non-Euclidean relationship among channels, which bring limitations in capturing depression cues. In response to the above issues, we propose a depression scale dictionary decomposition framework, which mainly includes a Bidirectional Dictionary Decomposition (BDD) module and a Bidirectional Multimodal Fusion (BMF) module. The BDD module can use the dictionaries generated based on the depression scale to semantically decompose audio and video sequences into the information related to and unrelated to depression scores along token and channel dimensions for promoting depression cue perception. Moreover, considering the respective characteristics of tokens and channels, the BMF module uses linear layers and graph convolution to achieve cross-modal mixing, which is used to aggregate audio and video sequences for predicting depression levels. The validation on AVEC 2013, AVEC 2014 and DAIC-WOZ datasets demonstrates our method's superiority. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

For most institutions, the World Wide Web has been the main source of information in recent years. Evaluation of a website reveals the overall and actual performance of that website. Identifying a website's strengths and weaknesses is significantly important to any institution. Therefore, in this study, we seek the answer to the question 'When evaluating a website, what kind of questionnaires can be used?' The purpose of this article is to give an overview of different questionnaires for the evaluation of web pages. In addition, it explains how these questionnaires can be used. With the introduction of artificial intellectual ability life choice machine learning, how has decision-changed? As labor shortage increases in the health sector, the demand for assistive robotics grows. However, the needed test data to develop those robots is scarce, especially for the application of active 3D object detection, where no real data exists at all. This short paper counters this by introducing such an annotated dataset of real environments. The captured environments represent areas which are already in use in the field of robotic health care research. We further provide ground truth data within one room, for assessing SLAM algorithms running directly on a health care robot.

Accurate prediction of ligand-bound conformations in protein-ligand complexes only from ligand information is expected to be useful in drug design. In this study, we compared the conformations obtained by a conformational search algorithm and the geometry optimization based on quantum chemical calculations with the ligand-bound conformations obtained by the constrained geometry optimization. Conformational searches for ligands of 25 atoms or less in the Platinum Diverse Dataset were performed using the reservoir algorithm and MMFF94s force field. The geometries of the obtained conformations were optimized using quantum chemical calculations at the level of ωB97X-D/6-31+G (d,p). The ligand-bound conformations were obtained by the geometry optimization at ωB97X-D/6-31+G(d,p) with fixed dihedral angles. The environment around the ligand was considered by implicit solvation models, and better results were obtained when aqueous solvents were specified than in the case of no solvent effects or octanol solvent. The RMSD means of the most similar conformation and the ligand-bound conformation were 0.534, 0.449, and 0.427 Å for no solvent effect, octanol, and water, respectively. The result indicates the importance of incorporating the effect of the surrounding environment in the prediction of the ligand-bound conformation.

Due to intrinsic properties such as transparency, immutability, decentralization, and cryptographic security, blockchain has emerged as a revolutionary technology. Despite its widespread application, blockchain is not used to store huge data due to the restricted storage capacity offered by each block. Furthermore, because the data contained in a block must be duplicated on many other nodes on the network, storage space is wasted. Off-chain storage is therefore required to store significant volumes of data while preserving the efficiency and performance of the network. Additionally, off-chain solutions such as Inter-Planetary File System (IPFS) would reduce the cost requirements of blockchain nodes as data stored and processed by these nodes would be reduced. Hence, strong decentralized storage is provided by IPFS that is a P2P-based content-addressed file sharing system that uses cryptographic hashes to store data. As a result, by combining blockchain with IPFS, an efficient file sharing system would be created. This paper presents a comprehensive IPFS architecture, a simplified version of this integrated approach, and potential applications that might assist to maximize the worth of both systems. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
