Multiple scattering effects are commonly ignored in the detection and estimation of scatterers in signal processing research, because the energy of the first-order scattering is much larger than that of higher-order components. Although multiple scattering can significantly increase the estimation precision of point scatterers, it does not always lead to an improvement. Identifying conditions under which multiple scattering is beneficial or detrimental to estimation in a general setup is still an open problem. In this paper, we consider the effects of multiple scattering on the localization of two point scatterers. By comparing the Fisher information matrix on location parameters when multiple scattering exists and does not exist, we show analytically that information on ranges can benefit estimating directions of arrival via multiple scattering when the two scatterers are in far-field and well resolved.

In this study, we proposed a new method to determine the fuzzy boundary of natural language based on big data. According to the principle of natural language recognition, the acoustic characteristics of the analysis, natural language acoustic model and statistical model is established, Viterbi decoding algorithm has been applied for natural language decoding, and take this as the basis, we implemented deep learning methods for natural language feature extraction, and used the support vector machine method for classification, according to the characteristics of natural language significant division, in accordance with the constraints, combined with large data analysis method, to determine the natural language fuzzy boundary. Experimental results indicate that using the proposed method, compared with existing methods the recall and accuracy rate have been improved. © 2017 ISSN.

This paper investigates the method for estimating the domain of attraction of the origin for a class of fractional order system subject to actuator saturation with the fractional order 0 < α < 1. The sufficient condition on the asymptotic stability are obtained using Lyapunov direct approach and fractional order inequality. The method for the estimation on the contractively invariant ellipsoid is derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs), and hence can be easily adopted for controller synthesis. Two numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.

The temperature sensor network in intelligent building classified collection of big data processing has the problem of big data redundancy interference, which results in unable to determine the fixed filter thresholds. This paper proposed Chaos differential disturbance based fuzzy C-means clustering model for big temperature sensing data classification tasks. It requires to analyze temperature sensor in the intelligent building big distributed structure model of data in a database storage system, the big data information flow feature fusion and time series analysis. Based on traditional fuzzy c-means clustering processing, we introduced chaos disturbance to avoid the classification into local convergence and local optimum, and therefore improve the performance of data clustering. The testing results show that our proposed classification method effectively reduces the error rate for classification tasks of temperature data in intelligent building and have achieved the best performance among the existing algorithms. © 2016 ACM.

A Generalized Piecewise Quadratic Lyapunov Function Approach to Estimating the Domain of Attraction of a Saturated System

This paper revisits the problem of estimating the domain of attraction of a saturated system with an algebraic loop. A piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function of an augmented state vector composing of the system state and the saturated input has been proposed for use in estimating the domain of attraction for a saturated system. Considering the relationship between the system states and the saturation function, we propose in this paper a generalized piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function, which results from adding a term that characterizes the regional sector condition of the saturated input to the piecewise quadratic Lypunov function. The matrix associated with the generalized piecewise quadratic Lyapunov function is not required to be positive definite, and thus a set of less conservative stability conditions are established, from which a larger estimate of the domain of attraction can be obtained. Simulation results indicate that the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method. © 2015

In this paper, the problem of rudder-roll damping control for a class of cruise keeping ships subject to both actuator fault and state saturation is investigated. A manoeuvring and rudder control model of marine vessels is firstly reviewed based on the existing literature. Actuator faults which including partial loss of rudder effectiveness and actuator-bias faults are considered in the model. Then a switching control strategy is developed to compensate for the actuator faults and to guarantee the stability of the rudder-roll damping control system. Moreover, some relationship regarding state saturation bounds, actuator fault limits and control parameters are analyzed in this paper. Finally, simulation results are given to illustrate the proposed procedures and their effectiveness.

Cluster analysis is important in scientific and industrial fields. In this study, we proposed a novel chaotic biogeography-based optimization(CBBO) method, and applied it in centroid-based clustering methods. The results over three types of simulation data showed that this proposed CBBO method gave better performance than chaotic particle swarm optimization, genetic algorithm, firefly algorithm, and quantum-behaved particle swarm optimization. In all, our CBBO method is effective in centroid-based clustering.
