Coreference resolution is targeted at collecting all mentions of an entity within a text into a single cluster. Various approaches for this task have already been proposed but the problem is still challenging. RU-EVAL-2014, an evaluation of anaphora and coreference resolution, renewed interest for this task for the Russian language. We try to follow this trend;our work can be viewed as an extension to recent approaches. Thorough manual feature engineering allows us to significantly improve current state-of-the-art results. Additionally, we compare applicability of various clustering algorithms to building coreference groups. That is essentially the second part of the approach.

Modern virtual machines for JavaScript use just-in-time (JIT) compilation to produce binary code. JIT compilers cannot perform complex optimizations. In contrast, static compilation has unlimited capabilities for complex optimizing transformations, but it cannot be efficiently applied to dynamic languages, such as JavaScript. In this paper, a general approach to the ahead-of-time compilation of programs in dynamic languages is proposed, and this approach is used for improving two virtual machines JavaScript- Core and V8. In the implementation of the improved JavaScriptCore engine with ahead-of-time compilation, the specifics of using JavaScript programs as a part of locally stored applications for the ARM platform were taken into account. In the V8 engine for the x86-64 platform, the ahead-of-time compilation is implemented by caching an optimized internal representation in a separate file.

The paper proposes the architecture of distributed multilevel detection system of malicious software in local area networks. Its feature is the synthesis of its requirements of distribution, decentralization, multilevel. This allows you to use it autonomously. In addition, the feature of autonomous program modules of the system is the same organization, which allows the exchange of knowledge in the middle of the system, which, unlike the known systems, allows you to use the knowledge gained by separate parts of the system in other parts. The developed system allows to fill it with subsystems of detection of various types of malicious software in local area networks.

Numerous studies have investigated dietary approaches to prevent chronic lifestyle-related diseases, including hypertension. Spent brewer's yeast is the second largest byproduct originated by the brewing industry and it deserves considerable attention because of its high nutritional value, ca. 40% of its dry mass is rich in protein which can be hydrolyzed into biologically active peptides. To upgrade this byproduct, the aim of this study was initially in vitro assessment of biological properties, e.g. ACE inhibition and antioxidant activity, and then, the in vivo effect in short-term oral antihypertensive effect of hydrolyzed yeast fractions on a well characterized model to study hypertension - Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats (SHR). Here, it was demonstrated that the fraction with molecular weight below 3 kDa containing tri and tetra- peptides with hydrophobic amino acid residues - SPQW, PWW and RYW, causes the most noticeable decrease in systolic, diastolic and mean blood pressure of SHR and shows highest antioxidant effect. These properties highlight the potential use of yeast extract as nutraceutical or functional food ingredient for the management and treatment of hypertension with antioxidant effect.

Lightweight virtualization technology has emerged as an alternative to traditional hypervisor-based virtualization. Containers based on an operating system level virtualization have shown superior performance and more flexibility than virtual machines. Both factors encourage their fast adoption and wide use in cloud environments. Container technology guarantees efficient interaction with hardware through system calls and isolation of tasks execution. The portability and ease of deployment enable containers to execute a variety of jobs. Several techniques have been used to address the problem of job allocation on containers. In this paper, a set of allocation strategies is proposed to distribute the workload to multiple OS containers that are running on several servers. We address two objective scheduling problem: minimizing energy and a number of SLA violations. We propose seventy-two strategies and analyze their performance by comprehensive simulation. We demonstrate that proposed techniques outperform previous works in terms of both the energy savings and QoS.

Wind energy is an important part of renewable energy sources in many countries. In the last decades, the flow simulation for wind turbines have been studied more because it is a very good alternative for producing energy. The community of researches is normally focused on studying behavior and performance of wind farms, spectral contents of the power fluctuations, different methods of quantifying effects of turbulence-generated loads on wind turbine blade, influence of atmospheric turbulence on the fatigue loads. This paper is focused on turbulent flow modeling for 2 and 12 wind model turbines using Large-eddy simulation and Lagrangian-averaged scale-independent dynamic Smagorinsky model. Analyses of vortex behavior along turbine wake and analyses of normalized horizontal velocity profiles behind the wind turbine, as well as fractal dimension calculation for turbulent wake were performed using ImaCalc program. Normalized horizontal velocity profiles were compared with experimental results obtained in wind tunnel in well-known Blind Test. A satisfactory agreement was obtained.

This paper considers various aspects of static analysis of C# programs in order to detect the maximum number of software bugs in an acceptable time. A complete cycle of software static analysis is described with the main focus being placed on the specifics of the C# language. Some methods are discussed that take into account popular features of C# at all levels of analysis: call graph and control flow graph construction, dataflow analysis, as well as context- and path-sensitive interprocedural analysis. A symbolic execution method is proposed, which is based on the works devoted to the Bounded Model Checking (BMC) and the Saturn Software Analysis Project. A memory model is described that enables an accurate intraprocedural analysis and allows one to create compact representations of error conditions associated with functions, which are essential for interprocedural analysis. A special attention is paid to the optimizations that occur during path-sensitive analysis of error conditions. The conditions need to be optimized in terms of size, because path-sensitive interprocedural analysis requires saving a large number of conditions for each analyzed function. The conditions are resolved using advanced SMT solvers (such as the Microsoft Z3 Prover). This paper also considers various approaches to modeling the behavior of library functions: based on a summary containing a set of properties required for analysis, or based on simplified implementations in C#. All the discussed solutions are implemented in the SharpChecker static analysis tool and are tested on a number of open-source projects from 1.5 thousand to 1.35 million lines of code.

Loss-of-function mutations in SMAD3 cause Loeys-Dietz syndrome type 3 (LDS3), a rare autosomal-dominant connective tissue disorder characterized by vascular pathology and skeletal abnormalities. Dysregulation of TGF-beta/SMAD signaling is associated with abnormal skeletal features and bone fragility. To date, histomorpho-metric and ultrastructural characteristics of bone with SMAD3 mutations have not been reported in humans and the exact mechanism by which SMAD3 mutations cause the LDS3 phenotype is poorly understood. Here, we investigated bone histomorphometry and matrix mineralization in human bone with a SMAD3 mutation and explored the associated cellular defect in the TGF-beta/SMAD pathway in vitro. The index patient had recurrent fractures, mild facial dysmorphism, arachnodactyly, pectus excavatum, chest asymmetry and kyphoscoliosis. Bone histomorphometry revealed markedly reduced cortical thickness (-68 %), trabecular thickness (-32 %), bone formation rate (-50 %) and delayed mineralization. Quantitative backscattered electron imaging demonstrated undermineralized bone matrix with increased heterogeneity in mineralization. The patient's SMAD3 mutation (c.200 T > G;p.I67S), when expressed from plasmid vectors in HEK293 cells, showed reduced phosphorylation and transcription factor activity compared to normal control and SMAD3 (p.S264Y), a gain-of -function mutation, somatic mosaicism of which causes melorheostosis. Transfection study of the patients' SMAD3 (p.I67S) mutation displayed lower luciferase reporter activity than normal SMAD3 and reduced expression of TGF-beta signaling target genes. Patient fibroblasts also demonstrated impaired SMAD3 protein stability. Osteo-clastogenic differentiation significantly increased and osteoclast-associated genes, including ACP5 (encoding TRAP), ATP6V0D2, and DCSTAMP, were up-regulated in CD14 (+) peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) with the SMAD3 (p.I67S) mutation.
