An attempt has been made to establish a time-discrete neuron model which ir applied to build Radial Basis Function and Multilayer Perceptron networks with distributed dynamics. The well known delta-rule is extended to the dynamic delta-rule in order to optimize network parameters. Both network types were used to identify empirical parametrical models of a turbocharger of a Diesel engine which comply with the demanded accuracy properties to a high degree. The performance of both network types is compared according to required number of parameter approximation accuracy and computational effort.

New algorithm for infrared small target image enhancement based on wavelet transform and human visual properties

The key to the wavelet based denoising teehniquea is how to manipulate the wavelet coefficients. By referring to the idea of Inclusive-OR in the design of circuits, this paper proposes a new algorithm called wavelet domain Inclusive-OR denoising algorithm（WDIDA）, which distinguishes the wavelet coefficients belonging to image or noise by considering their phases and modulus maxima simultaneously. Using this new algorithm, the denoising effects are improved and the computation time is reduced. Furthermore, in order to enhance the edges of the image but not magnify noise, a contrast nonlinear enhancing algorithm is presented according to human visual properties. Compared with traditional enhancing algorithms, the algorithm that we proposed has a better noise reducing performanee , preserving edges and improving the visual quality of images.

Traditional flight control systems adopt CPU mode, which is expensive, power-consuming and limited to thermal redundancy switching. To overcome this shortcoming, a reconfigurable dual-core parallel computing flight control system based on SOPC technology is proposed, which has the characteristics of high reliability, low power consumption and miniaturization. Dual-core parallel processing is used. In order to improve the efficiency of operation and processing of flight control system, dynamic reconfigurable technology based on SOPC is used to realize cold backup and data recovery in failure mode of flight control system. In this paper, the architecture, hardware platform, reconfigurable design and hardware-software co-design method of the system are described in detail. Finally, the method of data interaction between two cores and the reconfiguration strategy are given. © 2019 IEEE.

Traditional rocket control computing platform use hardware redundancy more ways to promote the reliability, the same hardware redundancy of common cause failure, unable to cope with complex environment against.the shortcomings, is proposed based on heterogeneous architecture arrows control platform, by using SOPC, FPGA and DSP three core components to build a new generation of control computing platform, has high reliability, strong adaptability to environment, etc. With SOPC as the core, the heterogeneous platform completes data transmission through high-speed serial transmission, supports dynamic logical reconstruction, and utilizes dynamic reconstruction technology to realize self-recovery under abnormal state. In this paper, the platform architecture, data transmission and synchronization methods, dynamic reconstruction strategy and control methods are described in detail. Finally, the correctness of the platform design is verified by experiments and simulations. © 2021 IEEE.

The design and performance analysis of networked control systems with random network delay in the forward channel is proposed, which are described in a state-space form. A new control scheme is used to overcome the effects of network transmission delay, which is termed networked predictive control （NPC）. Furthermore, three different ways to choose control input are discussed and the performances are analyzed, respectively. Both real-time simulations and practical experiments show the effectiveness of the control scheme.

This paper analyzes the zero dynamics of three-phase current source inverters fed from a voltage source and connected to a local resistive load or the electrical power grid. The zero dynamics is the remaining dynamics of a system when it exactly meets the control objectives. It is important for understanding the system behaviour, and its limitations, and designing efficacious controllers. The analysis concludes that, when the power source is modelled from its Thévenin equivalent circuit, some stability problems occur in the dc link if the control scheme only tracks the output voltage. The paper includes an alternative nested-loop controller that overcomes the internal dc-current inst.bility. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the delay-independent rule, the problem of optimal guaranteed cost control for a class of Takagi-Sugeno （T-S） fuzzy descriptor systems with time-varying delay is studied. A linear quadratic cost function is considered as the performance index of the closed-loop system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of guaranteed cost controllers via state feedback are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities （LMIs）, and the design of an optimal guaranteed cost controller can be reduced to a convex optimization problem. It is shown that the designed controller not only guarantees the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop fuzzy descriptor delay system, but also provides an optimized upper bound of the guaranteed cost. At last, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method and the perfect performance of the optimal guaranteed cost controller.

This paper describes a new gait phase detection sensor (GPDS) and its application together with a functional electrical stimulation (FES) system for subjects with a drop-foot walking dysfunction. The gait phase detection sensor (sensors and processing unit) is entirely embedded in a shoe insole and detects in real time four gait phases (events) during the gait cycle: stance, heel-off, swing and heel-strike. The gait phase signal is used in a finite state control scheme to time the electrical stimulation sequences in order to generate a motion in the affected leg that is close to a physiological motion. The GPDS uses a miniature gyroscope that measures the rotational velocity of the foot and three force sensitive resistors that measure the force load on the shoe insole. Contrary to other systems using only force sensors, our system can easily differentiate between true walking and weight shifting from one leg to the other during standing. This is achieved through the combination of force sensors and a gyroscope sensor.

This paper addresses the problem of designing robust output tracking control for strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown nonlinear functions and unknown virtual coefficient nonlinear functions using radial basis neural networks. By defining desired control, a smooth and singularity-free adaptive controller is firstly designed for a first-order plant. Then, an extension is made to high-order nonlinear systems using neural network approximation, adaptive backstepping techniques and robust control. No upper bounds of unknown virtual coefficient functions are required in this paper. The effects of approximation error and unknown upper bounds of virtual coefficient functions are counteracted by adaptive robust terms. It is shown that under the proposed adaptive control the tracking error of the controlled system converges to a small neighborhood around zero. Simulation examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
