The paper proposes the stable design of a new generation of fuzzy control systems using Mamdani PI-fuzzy controllers (PI-FCs) in four control system structures based on the combination beetween feedback control structures and Iterative Learning Control (ILC) algorithms. The design is backed up by a stability analysis method expressed in terms of the specific matrix approach with nonlinearity vectors defined in the matrix space. Part of the theoretical results is validated in controlling servo systems considered as second-order integral type benchmarks.

Integration of distributed software systems is an important issue in enterprise computing. Assembling of loosely coupled services via XML based protocols is a frequently used technique today. To overcome the struggle between safety of a strong typed interface and flexibility of generic parameters, we present a novel approach that uses model-typed interface parameters together with the idea of model compatibility verification. It respects separated ownerships of service provider and consumer interfaces, and adds a mediating connector based on platform-independent, model-based functional interface reconciliation. Given a pair of compatible interfaces an interface connector that integrates related services can be realized automatically. The concept of rule-based compatibility verification can also increase the efficiency of service repository lookups significantly.

The paper is concerned with new resonant converter configurations, belonging to the previously published dual channel dc-dc converter family. On one hand, the new configurations solve a significant shortcoming of the original ones, namely, the output midpoint potential was floating in comparison with the input midpoint. This caused a high-frequency oscillation of the output midpoint, often significantly limiting the application fields. Common ground can be used at the input and output sides at the new configurations. In addition, two of the new topologies also include electrical isolation, performed by an isolating high-frequency transformer. This property is often necessary in order to fulfill the strict industrial requirements against the power converters.

Projects are living entities. They are born with the project idea and end with the project termination. The time in between can last for many years, in most of the cases, requiring continuous implementation and management effort. Over the time project changes on requirements change the implementation process and in turn the management process, the maintenance process and so on. In order to maintain qualitative and quantitative project results both the project implementation and management processes need to be adjusted in the overall project changes and environment. This adjustment can be made by using agile project management methodologies, defining processes based on the identification of the project goals, constraints and expatiations. Unfortunately that is not enough, and projects, especially software projects are still in implementation and management crisis. This paper presents a novel strategy for the vector control of IPMSM, without signal injection. The overall performance of the motion-sensorless control depends strongly on the accuracy of the rotor position and speed estimation. The proposed state observer is based on the concept of the ldquoactive fluxrdquo (or ldquotorque producing fluxrdquo), which ldquoturns all the salient-pole rotor ac machines into nonsalient-pole onesrdquo. As well as giving a detailed explanation of the concept, the paper demonstrates, through a wide range of experimental results, the effectiveness of the active flux observer under half full rated torque operating conditions in 2 rpm-1000 rpm speed range.

Web-based software systems access some resources while executing the requests of the clients, typically several requests arrive at the same time, thus, competitive situation is established for the resources. In case of modeling such situation queueing model-based approaches are widely recognized. In our work, novel models and algorithms have been proposed to model the queue limit performance factor. In addition, the computational complexity and the limit analysis of the proposed models and algorithms have been provided. Moreover, the practical application of the results has been shown.
