Many research works were carried out in the field of material science;these researches show that the composite materials are better than the conventional materials due to their enhanced mechanical properties. The recent manufacturing trends, aluminium based composite materials are popular in most of the application like automotive, aircraft, military, and others. The carbon fiber reinforced aluminum metal matrix composites are highly potential materials for aerospace and electronic industries. In the present work, an open die casting method is used to fabricate the AA 6061 based composite material. The AA 6061 is used as a base metal, and the uncoated continuous long spool-type pitch-based carbon fibers are used as reinforcement. The carbon fibers were placed in the format with two-levels of weight percentage 5% and 10%;the carbon fibers were reinforced with a certain distance with AA6061 aluminium alloy;the composite is fabricated with the help of an electric furnace. The composite's mechanical properties were studied by the various mechanical tests and they were compared with the base alloy of AA 6061. The morphological characteristic was studied by the SEM images, which exhibit the uniform distribution of carbon fibers in the composite material. © 2020 Elsevier Ltd. Published by Elsevier Ltd. A new solution has been introduced to reduce the weight of the concrete in the structures and to reduce the span of the concrete slab. This system was developed during the early 19900s inn Germany and it gained its acceptance throughout the world. Switch gear robustness has a significant impact on power distribution system efficiency. The engineering factors that influence fire safety performance in commercial and government buildings have been investigated. During project work, all factors such as building structure, fire prevention compartments from damage, impression on people's evacuation routes, control design for being on fire, and further stable fire protection facilities are considered for fire safety design. The fire safety of commercial and government buildings is frequently impacted by renovation engineering. This article summarizes the Diesel fire pump, Battery, and Water pumping system classifications, as well as the factors influencing fire performance. © 2022 IEEE.

The exceptionally quick development in worldwide mobile data traffic there is a prompt need to have components to use the accessible spectrum to the possible extent. Cognitive radio (CR) is a likely innovation to tackle the spectrum shortage issue for future wireless frameworks. Spectrum sensing, spectrum mobility (handoff), spectrum decision, and spectrum sharing are utmost parts in the CR. Spectrum handoff is a basic part of cognitive radio systems to offer strong assistance for secondary users. There is a lot of literature available about spectrum sensing, however, there is limited research available about spectrum handoff technique (to the best of authors' knowledge). As a result, the majority of this study focuses on the spectrum handoff approach, including its forms, literature, system model research difficulties, and obstacles. This study may be very valuable for scholars interested in cognitive radio, especially spectrum handoff technology. © 2023 IEEE.

Named entity recognition is a natural language processing technique that effectively recognizes and categorizes named entities in a document. The named entity recognition helps to bring out dynamic information about a document or gather critical data to store in a database. Deep learning helps to develop over time, while NLP examines the structure and standards of language and produces an automated system that can discern meaning from text. Mining the essential entities in a text helps identify related data, which is vital when functioning with enormous datasets. The proposed system has a feature that can retrieve and identify sensitive data such as PAN numbers, bank account numbers, and Aadhar numbers from unstructured text data.. The proposed model is designed using Hybrid CNN and it attains 95% F1-Score, 97.5% precision, and 98.3% recall. © 2023 IEEE.

Analysis of an Arc detection system consider the standards, responsibility, sensitivity, security of overall system protection methods. This arc flash detection system coordinate different sections like as relay section, circuit breaker section, switchgear components withstanding capability at fault level, load section, neutral grounding section. The fast Arc detection and trip times are evaluated by Present state of optical fault detection sensors are implemented for fast identification and tripping of arc functions. Optical fault detection Sensors have some disadvantages are compare to conventional and other types. This sensors not only detect the Arc lighting sometimes it will detect lightning flash or welding. Conventional types are taking more time for tripping compared to sensor types. The combinational study needed for each type of arc detection schemes to avoid the nuisance tripping because it will affect the overall stability of the system. Different fault levels before and after arc ignition system need to maintain reliability of the system safely and securely. © 2020 IEEE.

A large amount of heat is produced in the IC engine during the combustion process, which directly affects the performance, fuel efficiency, and life of the engine. Extended surfaces are extensively uised in many engineering applications as they are simple to design, consume less space, weigh less. Implementation of high emissivity nanoparticles increases the heat transfer by increasing the surface area of the component. In this research, a plasma coating technique was used to provide a coating of silicon carbide (SiC) nanoparticles on 4-stroke IC engine fins. Furthermore, a Finite Element model identical to the test rig was generated and a numerical simulation was carried out using the FEA technique to investigate the heat dissipation, total heat flux and directional heat flux under applied temperature conditions. The emissivity and heat transfer results obtained from the test rig showed improvement in emissivity and enhancement in heat transfer through the fins. © 2022 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.

The transportation sector is a key component of tackling global climate change, which facilitates sustainable development. An effective and environmentally friendly way to decarbonize the transportation industry is through electric vehicles (EVs). This paper proposes EV charging station, using hybrid converter technique along with Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) approach. In this work charging of EV is accomplished by Photovoltaic (PV) system. The voltage from PV system is boosted with the support of Cuk-Zeta converter. Furthermore, Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) based MPPT approach is established to control the converter along with maximum extraction of PV voltage. Finally, the voltage across DC link is transferred to EV battery from where, it is offered for Vehicles for charging. The exhaustive construction is examined and validated using MATLAB, proving that the proposed setup results in improved performance with 95.32% converter efficiency respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) components' mechanical properties reflect processing parameters' effectiveness. Tensile Strength's parameter sequence of a FDM 3D-printed Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (Abs) material specimen is examined. Design Expert tools were utilized to conduct a variance analysis (ANOVA) to assess tensile strength components and interactions. Four FDM processing parameters-layer thickness, raster angle, infill pattern, and infill width-are examined using the Taguchi DOE. The ASTM D638-compliant specimen measurements were compared to the 3D computer-aided design model. When there are ranges of processing parameters and no linear processing criteria, design of experiments (DOEs) become difficult to determine. Identifying the best processing parameters requires a certain number of specimens. Optimum tensile strength of ABS component was 9.22 MPa at 0.3 mm layer thickness, 60° raster angle, infill width of 0.25 mm. Copyright © 2023 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
