During the complex application development, it is necessary to deploy various programming languages in order to utilize their strengths. The paper presents Matlab code generation for the purpose of signal filtering by means *** creation. Stress is put on the speed of a code execution and independence of a virtual machine (Matlab Runtime). Comfortable and quick code development in Matlab environment is able to unburden a programmer from a detailed study process of quite often complicated physical principle of the problematics and makes possible to deploy once developed and debugged code in a new environment, too. Two ways of a code generation are presented: automatic and manual. The automatic way was easy and represented an immediate use of the generated code but only in case of 64bit version. Contrary to this, the automatic generation of a 32bit version had its drawbacks. We proposed a manual universal way for overcoming all of these drawbacks irrespective to the 32bit or 64bit version. Moreover, the paper presents the side of the Matlab code consumers, too. All of the presented principles could serve for other purpose, not only for a signal filtering. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Training summarization models requires substantial amounts of training data. However for less resourceful languages like Hungarian, openly available models and datasets are notably scarce. To address this gap our paper introduces HunSum-2 an open-source Hungarian corpus suitable for training abstractive and extractive summarization models. The dataset is assembled from segments of the Common Crawl corpus undergoing thorough cleaning, preprocessing and deduplication. In addition to abstractive summarization we generate sentence-level labels for extractive summarization using sentence similarity. We train baseline models for both extractive and abstractive summarization using the collected dataset. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the trained models, we perform both quantitative and qualitative evaluation. Our dataset, models and code are publicly available, encouraging replication, further research, and real-world applications across various domains. © 2024 ELRA Language Resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

There are many fields of communication where a certain words - technical terms - occur in a courses of technological university study. In this note we give a few areas of a) appearing 3-dimensional 2-parametric geometric object anuloid, named also toroid, b) using of synograph meanings - in a software engineering, linguistics, medicine, mainly in geometry/physics interdisciplinary fields, where planar coordinate systems, kinematic curves and dynamical systems are of a leading role. This approach is - on the author's best known - unfamiliar in a literature and offers useful domains of next recognition. The modest aim of our consideration is to show a) links joining the tori mathematics with diverse applications of scientific fields, especially with robot motion planning, the area important for technological university students, majoring in automation;and b) connexions of the word synograph with the dynamical systems area. © 2012 IEEE.

IoT devices can advantageously be used to monitor various variables. IoT communication is usually limited to shorter distances. The presented IoT device design allows use for areas where the data needs to be secured over longer distances and the frequency of sending is uncritical for control. It can be used for farmers or for cities where data sending can be done by multiple, must secure the communication of IoT device over long distances. LoRaWAN is one option to provide this type of communication. The demonstration is an IoT device that monitors soil moisture and provides data collection. The prepared IoT device can be used for designing IoT devices where data transmission over longer distances needs to be achieved. Collecting data using an IoT device, in this way, allow data to be obtained for analysis. The protocol can impact the power consumption of a device. The design of the IoT device is implemented in a way that it can be functional for as long as possible on battery power. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The main goal of the paper is to provide a drawn up methodic for proposal of technical system optimization in terms of maximizing its reliability at given sum of financial costs or minimizing finance to achieve set reliability. The system reliability, respectively causal relationships between system failures and its elements faults are analyzed and illustrated by using special method called fault tree analysis (FTA) and technical system is represented by fault trees. Subsequently, the genetic algorithms are appropriately applied on the constructed diagram. The part of this paper is the proposal and description of individual steps of genetic algorithm in order to optimize fault tree analysis. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Developments in the production sector during recent years have led to rapid growth in usage of automated systems when it comes to communication and data exchange. Such systems help businesses with acquiring new customers, while also providing means to react to sudden changes in product demand and competition with the rest of the market. These circumstances put pressure on small to medium businesses to implement expensive systems into their production infrastructure without proper integration with the rest of the available hardware or software. Installing such systems often leads to further expenses in operator education and training. This paper touches upon the problems faced by these businesses, which if left neglected, could in certain extreme cases lead to unrecoverable financial losses. The proposed solutions help with lightening the pressure by incorporating fully automated integration strategies. Using various experiments, the applicability of these strategies has been verified using the Witness Horizon simulator which incorporates a Digital Twin of the AFB Festo production line. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

We are currently witnessing a gradual increase in interest in digital shadow and digital twin solutions in the field of industrial automation. These solutions require advanced approaches in the process of their creation and are gradually becoming an integral part of industrial automation. This paper focuses on the creation of a digital shadow of a physical robotic cell and progressively goes through all the phases from the analysis of communication problems through the design of possible solutions to the actual implementation of one of the proposed solutions. The connection between the virtual robotic cell and the industrial camera is based on the processing of the data sent by the camera located above the physical robotic cell. This data is processed by a program in the PLC and then transferred to the virtual environment of the digital shadow by communication between the two OPC servers. This paper provides a more detailed overview of one possible technique for connecting the virtual environment with the physical robotic cell. © 2023 IEEE.

Internet of Things (IoT) devices are not just simple devices anymore. The introduction of industry IoT (IIoT) and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) creates new challenges in terms of communication. The presented comparation shows the advantages and disadvantages of two communication protocols, which are suitable for new coming generation of IoT devices. Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) and Representational State Transfer (REST) can provide extended functions for data acquisition and they offer different options in terms of data transfer. A demonstration of the integration of IoT devices is shown, based on both protocols and there are classified from the functional perspective in terms of Industry 4.0. The experiment is built on the ESP32 S3 development board and data are processed by Node-Red flow. Data are acquired and saved into relation database. Verification of data transfer is performed and is visible on the dashboard. The transfer of data and connections were also recorded. The IoT device sends three data types, which are produced by sensors. Data types were selected to demonstrate a possibility how to work with standard data types like char variables or numerical values but main topic is to show how to transfer binary or complex data structures like JavaScript Object Notation (JSON). The experiment also demonstrates how communication protocol can impact the power consumption of a device. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The article is focused on presenting the possibilities of using modern approaches in the design and implementation of applications in the field of industrial robotics. From a set of modern approaches, the focus is on virtualization in the process of creating a robotic cell control system. Virtualization is part of the design stage of the control system in the offline programming of robotic manipulators as action elements of a given cell. Virtualization is also used in the implementation phase of the solution, namely in virtual commissioning. The use of hardware-in-the-loop and modified reality-in-the-loop approaches is described. The possibility of using virtualization as a tool for the Industry 4.0 concept application in real conditions, without the need of a large amount of investment in order to complex equipment upgrade, is emphasized. © 2022 IEEE.

The article is focused on the use of progressive techniques in the process of design and implementation of a heterogeneous multirobotic cell control system. The task of visualization as a modern approach to the creation of applications for industrial automation is presented. The way of using the visual approach in the creation of the robotic cell workspace monitoring system and the identification of work parts based on machine vision is declared. Visual programming in the form of Stateflow diagrams is also used for the creation of a superior control system based on PLC. Visualization techniques are also used in the process of multirobotic cell operation control by a web-oriented application using augmented reality. The article provides a comprehensive view of the representation of visualization techniques in design process of applications for industrial automation on a specific implementation example. © 2022 IEEE.
