Amidst the imperative need to reduce emissions and the rising demand for transportation, the logistics sector is at a crossroads. On a global scale, where road freight plays a significant role in the economy, the search for environmentally friendly fuel alternatives has led to the emergence of biomethane as a potential solution to assist fleets in decarbonizing their operations in the present day. The reliance of the transportation industry on fossil fuels is a cause for concern due to its environmental consequences and the depletion of resources. This study investigates the feasibility of hydrogen and biomethane as an eco-friendly transportation fuel in a circular economy. The analysis focuses on the production method, environmental advantages, and the role of biomethane in closing resource loops. The study examines constraints such as infrastructural development, feedstock availability, and economic viability. The significant findings on hydrogen suggest its strong potential as a sustainable fuel for long-haul heavy vehicles, showing better climate performance even when fossil electricity is used in production. Furthermore, in a circular economy, hydrogen-powered heavy-duty vehicles could become more advantageous than diesel, particularly as diesel faces reduced acceptance due to environmental issues. © 2025 Hydrogen Energy Publications LLC

The availability of high-quality datasets play a crucial role in advancing research and development especially, for safety critical and autonomous systems. In this paper, we present AssistTaxi, a comprehensive novel dataset which is a collection of images for runway and taxiway analysis. The dataset comprises of more than 300,000 frames of diverse and carefully collected data, gathered from Melbourne (MLB) and Grant-Valkaria (X59) general aviation airports. The importance of AssistTaxi lies in its potential to advance autonomous operations, enabling researchers and developers to train and evaluate algorithms for efficient and safe taxiing. researchers can utilize AssistTaxi to benchmark their algorithms, assess performance, and explore novel approaches for runway and taxiway analysis. Addition-ally, the dataset serves as a valuable resource for validating and enhancing existing algorithms, facilitating innovation in autonomous operations for aviation. We also propose an initial approach to label the dataset using a contour based detection and line extraction technique. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper summarizes solutions submitted for the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) test suite of the High-Fidelity CFD Verification Workshop. The goal of the workshop is to establish standards for verification of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) approaches to simulations of steady and unsteady turbulent flows. The RANS verification studies focus on a one-equation Spalart-Allmar as model with quadratic constitutive relation and rotation correction, SA-neg-QCR2000-R. The verification test cases are a two-dimensional subsonic flow around a Joukowski airfoil, a three-dimensional subsonic flow around an extruded NACA 0012 wing in a tunnel, and a subsonic flow around a wing-body configuration developed for verification of solvers participating in the 5th High-Lift Prediction Workshop. The turbulence model formulation, geometry, flow conditions, grids, and reference solutions are described in detail. Solutions with machine zero residuals for the test cases are computed using seven established CFD solvers on adapted- and fixed-grid families using different discretization approaches. While some noticeable differences between solutions remain, the results achieved by contributing solvers show that different solutions computed for the same RANS model on different grid families can converge to a common limit with grid refinement. The apparent requirements for grid convergence are a well designed family of grids that provide sufficient resolution in important areas and a strong solver capable of deep iterative convergence on each grid. For each test case in the study, the variation between aerodynamic forces computed by different solvers on the finest grids of different families is less than 2%. © 2024, American institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Inc, AIAA. Many areas are now experiencing data streams that contain privacy-sensitive *** the sharing and release of these data are of great commercial value,if these data are released directly,the private user information in the data will be ***,how to continuously generate publishable histograms(meeting privacy protection requirements)based on sliding data stream windows has become a critical issue,especially when sending data to an untrusted third *** histogram publication methods are unsatisfactory in terms of time and storage costs,because they must cache all elements in the current sliding window(sW).Our work addresses this drawback by designing an efficient online histogram publication(EOHP)method for local differential privacy data ***,in the EOHP method,the data collector first crafts a histogram of the current SW using an approximate counting ***,the data collector reduces the privacy budget by using the optimized budget absorption mechanism and adds appropriate noise to the approximate histogram,making it possible to publish the histogram while retaining satisfactory data *** experimental results on two different real datasets show that the EOHP algorithm significantly reduces the time and storage costs and improves data utility compared to other existing algorithms.

Geometric graph neural networks (GNNs) have emerged as powerful tools for modeling molecular geometry. However, they encounter limitations in effectively capturing long-range interactions in large molecular systems due to the localization assumption of GNN. To address this challenge, we introduce Neural P3M, a versatile enhancer of geometric GNNs to expand the scope of their capabilities by incorporating mesh points alongside atoms and reimaging traditional mathematical operations in a trainable manner. Neural P3M exhibits flexibility across a wide range of molecular systems and demonstrates remarkable accuracy in predicting energies and forces, outperforming on benchmarks such as the MD22 dataset. It also achieves an average improvement of 22% on the OE62 dataset while integrating with various architectures. Efficient space management has emerged as a crucial issue in the era of smart spaces and IoT-enabled surroundings. In this study, an innovative method is proposed to solve the difficulties of real-time occupancy monitoring and resource optimization in various public and private venues. The system makes use of an ESP32-CAM module with a built-in camera to capture real-time images of the monitored region. The recorded images are analyzed using computer vision techniques and algorithms to track and detect people entering and leaving the area. The basis of the system is the person counting algorithm, which delivers precise and immediate occupancy statistics. The system allows users to log in from any location and monitor space occupancy in real time. The study was conducted based on the performance and accuracy of the system under various circumstances, indicating its appropriateness for a range of applications, from offices and retail outlets to public spaces and smart homes. The importance of this research is found in its contribution to the subject of smart space management, which is still in its infancy but where data-driven choices are essential for maximizing resource usage, guaranteeing social distance compliance, and improving user experiences. This web-enabled vision-based person counting system can help advance smart space management in the context of the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart cities as a creative and useful solution. Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by significant motor difficulties that affect daily life. Current assessment methods primarily focus on behavioral analysis, lacking in neuroscientific metrics for a comprehensive evaluation. This study introduced an electroencephalography-based motor imagery brain-computer interface classification system for evaluating children with DCD. A key of this system was the implementation of entropy-based data screening, which markedly enhanced classification performance. Notably, using mu band power in a support vector machine achieved an accuracy rate of 79.0%. These findings pave the way for developing a tool that could assist professionals in identifying children potentially affected by DCD. © 2024 IEEE.

The leakage of medical audio data in telemedicine seriously violates the privacy of *** order to avoid the leakage of patient information in telemedicine,a two-stage reversible robust audio watermarking algorithm is proposed to protect medical audio *** scheme decomposes the medical audio into two independent embedding domains,embeds the robust watermark and the reversible watermark into the two domains *** order to ensure the audio quality,the Hurst exponent is used to find a suitable position for watermark *** to the independence of the two embedding domains,the embedding of the second-stage reversible watermark will not affect the first-stage watermark,so the robustness of the first-stage watermark can be well *** the second stage,the correlation between the sampling points in the medical audio is used to modify the hidden bits of the histogram to reduce the modification of the medical audio and reduce the distortion caused by reversible *** experiments show that this scheme has strong robustness against signal processing operations such as MP3 compression of 48 db,additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN)of 20 db,low-pass filtering,resampling,re-quantization and other attacks,and has good imperceptibility.

In a telemedicine diagnosis system,the emergence of 3D imaging enables doctors to make clearer judgments,and its accuracy also directly affects doctors’diagnosis of the *** order to ensure the safe transmission and storage of medical data,a 3D medical watermarking algorithm based on wavelet transform is proposed in this *** proposed algorithm employs the principal component analysis(PCA)transform to reduce the data dimension,which can minimize the error between the extracted components and the original data in the mean square ***,this algorithm helps to create a bacterial foraging model based on particle swarm optimization(BF-PSO),by which the optimal wavelet coefficient is found for embedding and is used as the absolute feature of watermark embedding,thereby achieving the optimal balance between embedding capacity and imperceptibility.A series of experimental results from MATLAB software based on the standard MRI brain volume dataset demonstrate that the proposed algorithm has strong robustness and make the 3D model have small deformation after embedding the watermark.

Relation Extraction (RE) requires the model to classify the correct relation from a set of relation candidates given the corresponding sentence and two entities. Recent work mainly studies how to utilize more data or incorporate extra context information especially with Pre-trained Language Models (PLMs). However, these models still face with the challenges of avoiding being affected by irrelevant or misleading words. In this paper, we propose a novel model to help alleviate such deficiency. Specifically, our model automatically mines the triggers of the sentence iteratively with the sentence itself from the previous iteration, and augment the semantics of the context representation from BERT with both entity pair and triggers skillfully. We conduct extensive experiments to evaluate the proposed model and effectively obtain empirical improvement in TACRED. © 2022, IFIP International Federation for Information Processing.
