The small-signal stability of multi-terminal high voltage direct current(HVDC)systems has become one of the vital issues in modern power *** among voltage source converters(VSCs)have a significant impact on the stability of the *** paper proposes an interaction quantification method based on the self-/en-stabilizing coefficients of the general N-terminal HVDC system with a weak AC network ***,we derive the explicit formulae of self-/en-stabilizing coefficients for any N-terminal HVDC system,which can quantify the interactions through different paths *** relation between the self-/en-stabilizing coefficients and the poles of the system can be used to evaluate the impact of the interactions on the system stability ***,we employ the obtained formulae to analyze the parameter sensitivity and explain how a parameter affects the stability of the system through different paths of ***,extensive examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this contribution the design of an indirect adaptive third order sliding mode controller based on a backstepping-like procedure is presented. A recursively defined homogeneous control Lyapunov function is combined with the adaptive backstepping method via tuning functions to compensate for unmatched parametric uncertainties. A matched bounded disturbance is eliminated by discontinuous control. It is shown that the states of the regarded system in parametric strict-feedback form converge asymptotically to the equilibrium while the parameter estimation error is bounded. Further, it is guaranteed that all control and adaptation signals are bounded. The proposed design is demonstrated in a simulation of a system with unmatched parametric uncertainty and matched disturbance. © 2024 IEEE.

Predicting the Bioaccessibility of Soil Cd,Pb,and As with Advanced Machine Learning for Continental-Scale Soil Environmental Criteria Determination in China

Investigating the bioaccessibility of harmful inorganic elements in soil is crucial for understanding their behavior in the environment and accurately assessing the environmental risks associated with *** batch experimental methods and linear models,however,are time-consuming and often fall short in precisely quantifying *** this study,using 937 data points gathered from 56 journal articles,we developed machine learning models for three harmful inorganic elements,namely,Cd,Pb,and *** thorough analysis,the model optimized through a boosting ensemble strategy demonstrated the best performance,with an average R2 of 0.95 and an RMSE of *** further employed SHAP values in conjunction with quantitative analysis to identify the key features that influence *** utilizing the developed integrated models,we carried out predictions for 3002 data points across China,clarifying the bioaccessibility of cadmium(Cd),lead(Pb),and arsenic(As)in the soils of various sites and constructed a comprehensive spatial distribution map of China using the inverse distance weighting(IDW)interpolation *** on these findings,we further derived the soil environmental standards for metallurgical sites in *** observations from the collected data indicate a reduction in the number of sites exceeding the standard levels for Cd,Pb,and As in mining/smelting sites from 5,58,and 14 to 1,24,and 7,*** research offers a precise and scientific approach for cross-regional risk assessment at the continental scale and lays a solid foundation for soil environmental management.

The environmental-friendly gas-insulated ring network cabinet is referred to as an environment-friendly cabinet. The high-voltage circuit parts of the environment-friendly cabinet are mainly composed of conductors, VCB, and the knife-brake type three-station disconnector. The insulating support parts are composed of insulating board, insulating arms, and so on. The grounding parts consist of a metal shell and grounding contacts. Simulation of the electrostatic field of the environment-friendly cabinet is during the condition of isolation fracture. Simulation results show that there are local high electric fields on the metal surfaces of the support for VCB, moving contacts, and static contacts, which are 20.7SkV /mm, 10.06kV/mm, and 7.41kV/mm, respectively. Adding a thin metal sheet to the support for the VCB or filling the gap with silicone rubber will reduce the electric field to 4.S1kV/mm and 4.1kV/mm, respectively. The metal shielding structures are installed on both sides of the moving contact and the static contact of the disconnector, and the surface electric field intensity is reduced to 5.25kV/mm and 5.18kV/mm respectively on the disconnector during the state of isolation fracture. The optimized environment-friendly cabinet was tested for power-frequency voltage-withstand test and partial discharge. The results showed that the optimized environment-friendly cabinet passed the power-frequency voltage-withstand test and the magnitude of partial discharge was better than the initial scheme, which verified the feasibility of the optimization. © 2024 IEEE.

Dual-super satellite is a new type of spacecraft structure that separates the satellite platform and payload, and blocks the transmission of micro-vibrations from the platform through mechanical isolation to provide an ultra-precise and ultra-stable payload environment. However, the cable used for energy supply and communication of the payload has an impact on the pointing performance of the payload. In order to solve the uncertainty of the payload dynamics model brought by the flexible cable and the low-frequency bounded interference problem, this paper proposes a sliding mode adaptive control method for the payload under the influence of cables. A feedforward compensation algorithm based on partial state observer is designed for bounded disturbance of satellite platform. The control method presented in this paper ensures the pointing performance of the payload during agile maneuvers, and demonstrates robustness against model uncertainty and low-frequency disturbances caused by cables through simulation studies. © The Author(s) Hangzhou 310023, under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

MATD3-Based End-Edge Collaborative Resource Optimization for NOMA-Assisted Industrial Wireless Networks

Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) technology has recently been widely integrated into multi-access edge computing (MEC) to support task offloading in industrial wireless networks (IWNs) with limited radio resources. This paper minimizes the system overhead regarding task processing delay and energy consumption for the IWN with hybrid NOMA and orthogonal multiple access (OMA) schemes. Specifically, we formulate the system overhead minimization (SOM) problem by considering the limited computation and communication resources and NOMA efficiency. To solve the complex mixed-integer nonconvex problem, we combine the multi-agent twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (MATD3) and convex optimization, namely MATD3-CO, for iterative optimization. Specifically, we first decouple SOM into two sub-problems, i.e., joint sub-channel allocation and task offloading sub-problem, and computation resource allocation sub-problem. Then, we propose MATD3 to optimize the sub-channel allocation and task offloading ratio, and employ the convex optimization to allocate the computation resource with a closed-form expression derived by the Karush-Kuhn-Tucker (KKT) conditions. The solution is obtained by iteratively solving these two sub-problems. The experimental results indicate that the MATD3-CO scheme, when compared to the benchmark schemes, significantly decreases system overhead with respect to both delay and energy consumption.

Cooperative Advantage Actor-Critic Reinforcement Learning for Multiagent Pursuit-Evasion Games on Communication Graphs

This article investigates the distributed optimal strategy problem in multiagent pursuit-evasion (MPE) games, striving for Nash equilibrium through the optimization of individual benefit matrices based on observations. To this end, a novel collaborative control scheme for MPE games using communication graphs is proposed. This scheme employs cooperative advantage actor-critic (A2C) reinforcement learning to facilitate collaborative capture by pursuers in a distributed manner while maintaining bounded system signals. The strategy orchestrates the actions of pursuers through adaptive neural network learning, ensuring proximity-based collaboration for effective captures. Meanwhile, evaders aim to evade collectively by converging toward each other. Through extensive simulations involving five pursuers and two evaders, the efficacy of the proposed approach is demonstrated, and pursuers seamlessly organize into pursuit units and capture evaders, validating the collaborative capture objective. This article represents a promising step toward effective and cooperative control strategies in MPE game scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.
