Image inpainting is a kind of use known area of information technology to repair the loss or damage to the *** feature extraction is the core of image *** enough space for information and a larger receptive field is very important to realize high-precision image ***,in the process of feature extraction,it is difficult to meet the two requirements of obtaining sufficient spatial information and large receptive fields at the same *** order to obtain more spatial information and a larger receptive field at the same time,we put forward a kind of image restoration based on space path and context path *** the space path,we stack three convolution layers for 1/8 of the figure,the figure retained the rich spatial *** the context path,we use the global average pooling layer,where the accept field is the maximum of the backbone network,and the pooling module can provide global context information for the maximum accept *** order to better integrate the features extracted from the spatial and contextual paths,we study the fusion module of the two *** fusionmodule first path output of the space and context path,and then through themass normalization to balance the scale of the characteristics,finally the characteristics of the pool will be connected into a feature vector and calculate the weight *** of images in order to extract context information,we add attention to the context path refinement *** modules respectively from channel dimension and space dimension to weighted images,in order to obtain more effective *** show that our method is better than the existing technology in the quality and quantity of themethod,and further to expand our network to other inpainting networks,in order to achieve consistent performance improvements.

As one of the most valuable technologies,blockchains have received extensive attention from researchers and industry circles and are widely applied in various ***,data on a blockchain cannot be *** a result,it is impossible to clean invalid and sensitive data and correct erroneous ***,to a certain extent,hinders the application of blockchains in supply chains and Internet of *** address this problem,this study presents a deletable and modifiable blockchain scheme(DMBlockChain)based on record verification trees(RVTrees)and the multisignature scheme.(1)In this scheme,an RVTree structure is designed and added to the block *** RVTree can not only ensure that a record is true and valid but,owing to its unique binary structure,also verify whether modification and deletion requests are valid.(2)In DMBlockChain,the multisignature mechanism is also *** mechanism requires the stakeholders’signatures for each modification or deletion request and thus ensures that a record will not be modified arbitrarily.A user’s request is deemed valid only if it is dually verified by the RVTree and the multisignature *** analysis finds that DMBlockChain can provide a secure and valid means for modifying and deleting records in a block while ensuring the integrity of the block and that DMBlockChain can effectively save space in some scenarios that require frequent records modification.

Diffusion models are initially designed for image generation. Recent research shows that the internal signals within their backbones, named activations, can also serve as dense features for various discriminative tasks such as semantic segmentation. Given numerous activations, selecting a small yet effective subset poses a fundamental problem. To this end, the early study of this field performs a large-scale quantitative comparison of the discriminative ability of the activations. However, we find that many potential activations have not been evaluated, such as the queries and keys used to compute attention scores. Moreover, recent advancements in diffusion architectures bring many new activations, such as those within embedded ViT modules. Both combined, activation selection remains unresolved but overlooked. To tackle this issue, this paper takes a further step with a much broader range of activations evaluated. Considering the significant increase in activations, a full-scale quantitative comparison is no longer operational. Instead, we seek to understand the properties of these activations, such that the activations that are clearly inferior can be filtered out in advance via simple qualitative evaluation. After careful analysis, we discover three properties universal among diffusion models, enabling this study to go beyond specific models. On top of this, we present effective feature selection solutions for several popular diffusion models. Finally, the experiments across multiple discriminative tasks validate the superiority of our method over the SOTA competitors. DEGSTalk: Decomposed Per-Embedding Gaussian Fields for Hair-Preserving Talking Face Synthesis

Accurately synthesizing talking face videos and capturing fine facial features for individuals with long hair presents a significant challenge. To tackle these challenges in existing methods, we propose a decomposed per-embedding Gaussian fields (DEGSTalk), a 3D Gaussian Splatting (3DGS)-based talking face synthesis method for generating realistic talking faces with long hairs. Our DEGSTalk employs Deformable Pre-Embedding Gaussian Fields, which dynamically adjust pre-embedding Gaussian primitives using implicit expression coefficients. This enables precise capture of dynamic facial regions and subtle expressions. Additionally, we propose a Dynamic Hair-Preserving Portrait Rendering technique to enhance the realism of long hair motions in the synthesized videos. Results show that DEGSTalk achieves improved realism and synthesis quality compared to existing approaches, particularly in handling complex facial dynamics and hair preservation. CA-Edit: Causality-Aware Condition Adapter for High-Fidelity Local Facial Attribute Editing

For efficient and high-fidelity local facial attribute editing, most existing editing methods either require additional finetuning for different editing effects or tend to affect beyond the editing regions. Alternatively, inpainting methods can edit the target image region while preserving external areas. However, current inpainting methods still suffer from the generation misalignment with facial attributes description and the loss of facial skin details. To address these challenges, (i) a novel data utilization strategy is introduced to construct datasets consisting of attribute-text-image triples from a data-driven perspective, (ii) a Causality-Aware Condition Adapter is proposed to enhance the contextual causality modeling of specific details, which encodes the skin details from the original image while preventing conflicts between these cues and textual conditions. In addition, a Skin Transition Frequency Guidance technique is introduced for the local modeling of contextual causality via sampling guidance driven by low-frequency alignment. Extensive quantitative and qualitative experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of our method in boosting both fidelity and editability for localized attribute editing. Based on prior research indicating a decrease in the spectral slope of electroencephalogram (EEG) during anesthesia induction and an increase during recovery, we propose Slope Entropy (SlopEn), which uniquely emphasizes variations in signal slope, as a new index for monitoring the depth of anesthesia (DoA). The performance of SlopEn is investigated on just a single frontal EEG channel and is compared against other well-known entropy metrics utilized in the field. After filtering the EEG signal, four types of entropy, including SlopEn, are derived from all EEG sub-bands and separately inputted to a regressor for estimating DoA index values. Comparing the results obtained using SlopEn with those from the Sample entropy demonstrates the superiority of the former, achieving a higher correlation coefficient (0.75 vs. 0.63) and a lower median absolute error (4.2 vs. 6.2) between the estimated and reference DoA index values. These findings establish that the SlopEn has the potential to become a valuable index for DoA monitoring using single frontal channel EEG systems.

Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) is the stan-dard treatment for locally advanced rectal cancer (LARC). With the development of artificial intelligence, an increasing number of studies have begun to explore its application in cancer treatment prediction. However, the prior methods exhibit considerable variability even with slight modifications to the input data, which could potentially undermine the reliability of the results. In this paper, we proposed RP-Net, a novel multi-modal fusion-based framework that combines feature information from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and whole slide images (WSI), establishing a relationship to map the therapeutic effectiveness of nCRT for LARC. We investigated the relationship of the tumour region and its periphery tissues, and demonstrated the validity of the proposed framework that involving 11 different combinations of modalities. The experimental results revealed that it has achieved higher prediction accuracy compared to the four intra-categories single-modal combinations and outperformed the two intra-categories multi-modal combinations. When compared to the other four inter-categories multi-modal combinations, the fusion features get accuracy of 2 % ~ 6% improvement respectively.

In this paper, sparse signal reconstruction is for-mulated a q-ratio minimization problem subjecting to linear underdetermined equations. In view of the nonconvexity of the objective function, the q-ratio formulation with q=2 is approximately reformulated as an iteratively reweighted convex optimization problem in the majorization-minimization frame-work. A neurodynamic optimization approach is introduced to solve the formulated problem iteratively. The experimental results on sparse signal reconstruction are discussed to demonstrate the performance of the proposed approach. © 2022 IEEE.

Fence Theorem: Towards Dual-Objective Semantic-Structure Isolation in Preprocessing Phase for 3D Anomaly Detection

3D anomaly detection (AD) is prominent but difficult due to lacking a unified theoretical foundation for preprocessing design. We establish the Fence Theorem, formalizing preprocessing as a dual-objective semantic isolator: (1) mitigating cross-semantic interference to the greatest extent feasible and (2) confining anomaly judgements to aligned semantic spaces wherever viable, thereby establishing intra-semantic comparability. Any preprocessing approach achieves this goal through a two-stage process of Semantic-Division and Spatial-Constraints stage. Through systematic deconstruction, we theoretically and experimentally subsume existing preprocessing methods under this theorem via tripartite evidence: qualitative analyses, quantitative studies, and mathematical proofs. Guided by the Fence Theorem, we implement Patch3D, consisting of Patch-Cutting and Patch-Matching modules, to segment semantic spaces and consolidate similar ones while independently modeling normal features within each space. Experiments on Anomaly-ShapeNet and Real3D-AD with different settings demonstrate that progressively finer-grained semantic alignment in preprocessing directly enhances point-level AD accuracy, providing inverse validation of the theorem’s causal logic. Realizing Generalized Zero-Shot Learning (GZSL) based on large models is emerging as a prevailing trend. However, most existing methods merely regard large models as black boxes, solely leveraging the features output by the final layer while disregarding potential performance enhancements from other layers. Indeed, numerous researchers have visually depicted variations in the features learned across different layers of neural networks. Motivated by this observation, we propose a Vision Transformer (ViT)-based GZSL method named Depth-Aware Multi-Modal ViT (DAM2ViT), which exploits multi-level features of ViT. DAM2ViT incorporates a multi-modal interaction block to align semantic information of categories across multiple layers, thereby augmenting the model’s capacity to learn associations between visual and semantic spaces. Extensive experiments conducted on three benchmark datasets (i.e., CUB, SUN, AWA2) have showcased that DAM2ViT achieves competitive results compared to state-of-the-art methods. © 2024 IEEE.
