The rapid growth of the digital industry has created a higher demand for robust Network Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS) to protect valuable information and the integrity of network infrastructures as the digital industry grows rapidly. One of the most important challenges in the current intrusion detection landscape is the growing sophistication of cyber threats, including zero-day attacks, polymorphic malware, and advanced persistent threats, which are difficult to detect using traditional methods. Furthermore, systems often suffer from high false positive rates and struggle to scale effectively in real-time applications. Traditionally, intrusion detection methods were quite effective, but performance is still lacking due to the inability to adapt to evolving threats. Recent breakthroughs include deep learning approaches, ensemble methods, and hybrid detection models. However, these are still plagued by high computational overhead and a lack of transparency in their decision-making processes. The work exploits Optuna for the optimization of hyperparameters, specifically in the performance improvement of various ML models. Among the best-ranked frameworks for the optimization of hyperparameters, Optuna provides a principled method for tuning hyperparameters, resulting in significantly enhanced accuracy and efficiency of the intrusion detection model. The implication of this research work is that it searches for the best configuration of parameters for each algorithm with balanced false positives and detection rates. The study includes an overall scenario of recent development in NIDS. More precisely, this paper shows how Hyperparameter tuning attains very superior model performance compared to other models. The comparative results presented have shown that models which are optimized using Optuna surpass the non-optimized ones by a huge margin with respect to accuracy, recall, precision, and F1-score. The AI-Enhanced Learning Assistant Platform is a revolutionary system designed to enhance learning, with cutting-edge features like question and answer generation, answer evaluation, identification of weak areas, recursive testing, an integrated query forum, and expert chat support. This platform makes use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology to try to satisfy the many needs that students and teachers have. Using natural language processing and machine learning, the platform's question and answer generating feature generates relevant questions on its own from the provided content. This encourages participation and in-depth subject understanding. The answer evaluation section provides quick feedback for improvement by utilizing AI algorithms to assess the accuracy and caliber of student responses. One of this platform's key advantages is its capacity to identify students' areas of weakness. Through the analysis of performance patterns and root causes, the system can generate customized recommendations and learning materials to help overcome those constraints. Through repeated practice, the program gradually pushes students to increase their understanding of the material by creating adaptive exams. In recent years, quantum computing involving physical systems with continuous degrees of freedom, such as the bosonic quantum states of light, has attracted significant interest. However, a well-defined quantum complexity theory for these bosonic computations over infinite-dimensional Hilbert spaces is missing. In this work, we lay the foundations for such a research program. We introduce natural complexity classes and problems based on bosonic generalizations of BQP, the local Hamiltonian problem, and QMA. We uncover several relationships and subtle differences between standard Boolean classical and discrete-variable quantum complexity classes, and identify outstanding open problems. Our main contributions include the following: 1. Bosonic computations. We show that the power of Gaussian computations up to logspace reductions is equivalent to bounded-error quantum logspace (BQL, characterized by the problem of inverting well-conditioned matrices). More generally, we define classes of continuous-variable quantum polynomial time computations with a bounded probability of error (CVBQP) based on gates generated by polynomial bosonic Hamiltonians and particle-number measurements. Due to the infinite-dimensional Hilbert space, it is not a priori clear whether a decidable upper bound can be obtained for these classes. We identify complete problems for these classes, and we demonstrate a BQP lower bound and an EXPSPACE upper bound by proving bounds on the average energy throughout the computation. We further show that the problem of computing expectation values of polynomial bosonic observables at the output of bosonic quantum circuits using Gaussian and cubic phase gates is in PSPACE. 2. Bosonic ground energy problems. We prove that the problem of deciding whether the spectrum of a bosonic Hamiltonian is bounded from below is co-NP-hard. An Attention-Locating Algorithm for Eliminating Background Effects in Fine-grained Visual Classification

Fine-grained visual classification (FGVC) is a challenging task characterized by interclass similarity and intraclass diversity and has broad application prospects. Recently, several methods have adopted the vision Transformer (ViT) in FGVC tasks since the data specificity of the multihead self-attention (MSA) mechanism in ViT is beneficial for extracting discriminative feature representations. However, these works focus on integrating feature dependencies at a high level, which leads to the model being easily disturbed by low-level background information. To address this issue, we propose a fine-grained attention-locating vision Transformer (FAL-ViT) and an attention selection module (ASM). First, FAL-ViT contains a two-stage framework to identify crucial regions effectively within images and enhance features by strategically reusing parameters. Second, the ASM accurately locates important target regions via the natural scores of the MSA, extracting finer low-level features to offer more comprehensive information through position mapping. Extensive experiments on public datasets demonstrate that FAL-ViT outperforms the other methods in terms of performance, confirming the effectiveness of our proposed methods. The nonlinear filtering problem has enduringly been an active research topic in both academia and industry due to its ever-growing theoretical importance and practical *** main objective of nonlinear filtering is to infer the states of a nonlinear dynamical system of interest based on the available noisy measurements. In recent years, the advance of network communication technology has not only popularized the networked systems with apparent advantages in terms of installation,cost and maintenance, but also brought about a series of challenges to the design of nonlinear filtering algorithms, among which the communication constraint has been recognized as a dominating concern. In this context, a great number of investigations have been launched towards the networked nonlinear filtering problem with communication constraints, and many samplebased nonlinear filters have been developed to deal with the highly nonlinear and/or non-Gaussian scenarios. The aim of this paper is to provide a timely survey about the recent advances on the sample-based networked nonlinear filtering problem from the perspective of communication constraints. More specifically, we first review three important families of sample-based filtering methods known as the unscented Kalman filter, particle filter,and maximum correntropy filter. Then, the latest developments are surveyed with stress on the topics regarding incomplete/imperfect information, limited resources and cyber ***, several challenges and open problems are highlighted to shed some lights on the possible trends of future research in this realm.

In the evolving landscape of early childhood education, the integration of technology has emerged as a significant paradigm shift. This study focuses on this shift, presenting the development and evaluation of the Alphabet AR-Game—an innovative augmented reality (AR) application designed for preschool children. The game creates a dynamic learning environment, revolutionizing alphabet learning through interactive 3D visualizations and audio elements. While existing research explores AR applications for learning purpose, there remains a gap in the literature, concerning a comprehensive AR tool tailored explicitly for preschoolers, combining gamification, pedagogical methodologies, and stakeholder involvement. Our findings showcase the Alphabet AR-Game’s success in integrating technology with traditional learning, achieving remarkable usability and acceptability among children, parents, and teachers. Deep learning, a branch of artificial intelligence, has drawn interest from the academic and corporate realms, especially in areas like speech and image analysis, video processing, and natural language processing. Its use in agricultural plant protection has expanded to include the diagnosis and evaluation of pests and plant diseases. In this situation, there are several benefits to using deep learning. It removes the biases related to manually chosen pathogen properties, improves objectivity when determining disease characteristics, and hastens the advancement of contemporary technology. In order to diagnose agricultural leaf illnesses, this study explores the most recent developments in deep learning methods, including CNN, DENSNET, InceptionV3, VGG16, Resnet50, and MobileNet, in addition to a variety of sensors. This project aims to aid scientists in the field by tackling challenges in merging deep learning and cutting-edge imaging tools to enhance illness identification. It addresses current trends and barriers, shedding light on unresolved issues and paving the way for further research. A trend toward the use of digital platforms for product marketing and profit margin enhancement is evident in the contemporary corporate environment. As a result, using deep learning methods to evaluate consumer sentiment in tweets based on product reviews becomes essential. The study's proposal is to use a big dataset and a one-dimensional convolutional neural network (1D-CNN) for the classification process in order to extract lexical characteristics for sentiment analysis. In order to do this, analysis is done on customer review datasets of Amazon items with an emphasis on reviews pertaining to mobile phones. To improve the performance and accuracy of the classifier, data preprocessing is first done. A lexical method is then used to efficiently compress the text via feature extraction. For the purpose of correctly assessing review emotions, efficient classification is essential. So, classification is done using the 1D-CNN method. The Egret Swarm Optimization Algorithm is used to adjust the 1D-CNN model's hyperparameters (ESOA). After this procedure, the research evaluates the 1D-CNN method's performance in relation to other techniques currently in use. The research concludes that the suggested method performs well overall, achieving 98.77% accuracy, 97.37% precision, 97.42% sensitivity, and 97.21% F-measure, respectively. These performance measures outperform those of current algorithms created in earlier research. The sentiment analysis of mobile phone evaluations inside the Amazon e-commerce system shows improved accuracy and efficiency when using the suggested 1D-CNN neural network approach. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Human pose estimation (HPE) from images or video is not only a major issue of computer vision, but also it plays a vital role in many real-world applications. The most challenging problems of human pose estimation are the disparity of poses, disturbing background clutter, different camera views, changes in scene lighting conditions, and occlusion. To solve these issues, a significant amount of research effort has been considered in the past. In this paper, we explore various vision-based activity recognition using 2D and 3D human pose estimations. We explore the conventional system, which includes both statistical and deep learning-based approaches for HPE, and then explore the current progress of each one in comparison to existing ones.
