Predicting water quality is essential to preserving human health and environmental sustainability. Traditional water quality assessment methods often face scalability and real-time monitoring limitations. With accuracies of 62%, 72%, 83%, 69%, 63%, 66%, 71%, 63%, and 64%, respectively, the current techniques utilized were Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest Regressor, Extreme Gradient Boosting, Naive Bayes, K-nearest neighbors, Support Vector Machine, AdaBoost, and Bagging [9]. This study addresses these challenges by leveraging Adaptive Synthetic Sampling (ADASYN) to balance the dataset and evaluating model performance on datasets of 5,000 and 10,000 entries per class. A robust dataset obtained from Kaggle was used, with five models – Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), Feed Forward Neural Network (FFNN), Categorical Boosting (CatBoost), Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost), and Random Forest – evaluated and compared. The proposed methods demonstrate significant improvements in accuracy, with XGBoost achieving the highest accuracy of 95.53%, followed by Random Forest at 93.98%. This work underscores the importance of advanced machine learning techniques in addressing the limitations of traditional methods, enhancing accuracy, scalability, and adaptability in water quality prediction. These findings contribute to advancing environmental monitoring and management practices with reliable, data-driven insights. © 2025 IEEE.

The development of the industrial Internet of Things and smart grid networks has emphasized the importance of secure smart grid communication for the future of electric power transmission. However, the current deployment of smart meters and wireless communication methods presents several security concerns that must be addressed to ensure sustainable and resilient smart grid networks for Industry 5.0, with a focus on consumer-centric technologies. In this context, we propose a privacy-focused authentication solution for secure consumer-centric demand response management in smart grid networks, incorporating consumer electronics. Our proposed protocol utilizes blockchain-based authentication to enhance resistance against potential attacks and ensure the integrity of demand response data. Additionally, we have incorporated a PUF to prevent physical attacks. We have conducted informal and formal security analyses to verify the effectiveness of our proposed protocol against various threats and to confirm the session key security. Our comparison study has demonstrated that our protocol provides superior security and added functionalities, with lower computation and communication costs compared to similar protocols. Furthermore, we have measured the computational time for implementing the blockchain component of our protocol while considering the impact of varying numbers of block additions and transactions per block. © 1975-2011 IEEE.

Agriculture is under tremendous pressure to produce more productivity with fewer resources as a result of the expanding global population. Decision-making along the entire supply chain needs to be improved considering competing economic, environmental, and societal demands. Data from satellites, drones, sensors, and other sources must be processed in order to make informed judgments. However, sophisticated machine learning and data analytics methods must be used due to the complexity and volume of the data. This initiative covers crucial duties in yield prediction and precision agriculture. Management zones are areas of a field that have high inter-regional variability and low intra-regional variability, dividing the field into uniform zones for which agronomic practices should be modified independently. For fertilizer optimization and post-harvest logistics, yield prediction is crucial. In order to make up for the nutrients that have been taken out of the soil, fertilizer type and quantity must be adjusted accordingly. The yield data is also essential for enhancing harvesting, shipping, storage, and sales. So, utilizing web scraping and convolution neural networks, the proposed model has been forecast yields from input satellite photos. The result of investigations is illustrated that the artificial neural network algorithm is used to predicting the agricultural data rules and powerfully decrease the error rate from crop yield data. © 2023 IEEE.

COVID-19 can only be detected by a few different methods at this time. This article discusses how to recognize infected tissues in CT lung images and how to treat them. We investigated the ability of SegNet and U-NET to segment infected tissue regions better semantically in CT lung images by comparing their semantic segmentation abilities. Deep learning networks such as SegNet and U-NET are proposed for the classification of tissues. The network contains 72 data images that have been validated and ten control images. A sanity check of 18 images was performed. All networks are up and running. Data will be tabulated and statistically analysed because of this study. SegNet distinguishes between infected and non-infected tissues more accurately than other classification methods (with a medium accuracy of 0.95). 91% of the time is correct CT scans of COVID-19 patients with semantic segmentation are essential for quantifying disease severity and prioritizing population therapy. We use computerized techniques that have been proven to detect infected tissue in CT scans. Once available, this method will aid in the automation, prioritization, acceleration, and expansion of COVID-19 patient treatment throughout the world. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The vehicle routing problem with simultaneous pickup-delivery and time windows (VRPPDTW) is applicable to a wide range of practical scenarios within the domains of transportation and logistics. When addressing this complex problem, conventional heuristic algorithms have exhibited limitations in effectiveness, primarily due to the need for expert knowledge in heuristic design, which often prioritizes immediate improvements and leads to convergence towards local optima. To overcome this challenge, we propose a deep Q-network-based iterated local search algorithm (DQN-ILS). This algorithm employs a deep Q-learning network to automatically learn a policy for selecting heuristics to improve the current solution. Simultaneously, an adaptive perturbation strategy is designed to avoid becoming trapped in local optima. In this way, our algorithm can better balance the trade-off between exploration and exploitation when solving VRPPDTW. Experimental studies conducted on a real test suite of large-scale VRPPDTW instances validate the superiority of the proposed DQN-ILS over several recently proposed methods. © 2024 IEEE.

Sentiment analysis, a crucial task in discerning emotional tones within the text, plays a pivotal role in understandingpublic opinion and user sentiment across diverse *** numerous scholars conduct sentiment analysisin widely spoken languages such as English, Chinese, Arabic, Roman Arabic, and more, we come to grapplingwith resource-poor languages like Urdu literature which becomes a challenge. Urdu is a uniquely crafted language,characterized by a script that amalgamates elements from diverse languages, including Arabic, Parsi, Pashtu,Turkish, Punjabi, Saraiki, and more. As Urdu literature, characterized by distinct character sets and linguisticfeatures, presents an additional hurdle due to the lack of accessible datasets, rendering sentiment analysis aformidable undertaking. The limited availability of resources has fueled increased interest among researchers,prompting a deeper exploration into Urdu sentiment analysis. This research is dedicated to Urdu languagesentiment analysis, employing sophisticated deep learning models on an extensive dataset categorized into fivelabels: Positive, Negative, Neutral, Mixed, and Ambiguous. The primary objective is to discern sentiments andemotions within the Urdu language, despite the absence of well-curated datasets. To tackle this challenge, theinitial step involves the creation of a comprehensive Urdu dataset by aggregating data from various sources such asnewspapers, articles, and socialmedia comments. Subsequent to this data collection, a thorough process of cleaningand preprocessing is implemented to ensure the quality of the data. The study leverages two well-known deeplearningmodels, namely Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN), for bothtraining and evaluating sentiment analysis performance. Coal mine belt conveyors are commonly used equipment in coal mining enterprises which transport coal from the coal faces using belts. Currently, video image monitoring serves as the predominant approach to identify foreign objects within the transported coal, such as large gangue and rock bolts. In recent years, the utilization of Convolutional Neural Networks has become prevalent in automatically recognizing foreign objects within images. Nevertheless, existing models suffer from issues including low recognition accuracy and slow speed. In response to the aforementioned problems, this paper proposes an improved coal foreign object recognition model based on MobileNetV3. Firstly, the Coordinate Attention mechanism is introduced into MobileNetV3 to fully consider both channel and spatial features. Secondly, the ReLU6 activation function in MobileNetV3 is replaced with the ELU activation function to augment the model's capacity to express information within the negative value range. Finally, superfluous network layers are removed to reduce computational complexity and improve recognition speed. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed improved MobileNetV3 model achieves an accuracy of 90.8% in recognizing foreign object images, which is 2.5 to 4.0 percentage points higher compared to commonly used neural networks including AlexNet and EfficientNet. Moreover, compared with MobileNetV3, the proposed model reduces the number of parameters and computational complexity by 40.3% and 12.0% respectively. These results indicate that the proposed model reaches higher recognition accuracy while reducing network size and computational load. As a result, it provides a feasible approach for enhancing safety in coal mining enterprises. © 2023 IEEE.

Twitter has been observed to be one of the essential data resources for dependable event accreditation. In any case, Twitter-based event affirmation structures can't guarantee assessment concerning their attestation results. Talk statement has been locked in starting late to enable liberal event Recognition. This problem is not yet evident in light of the assumption that most people tend to think that they have a specific limit to the data on Twitter that have frames based on events based on Twitter. Current appraisals see new pieces by seeing and looking at the significant psychological aspects of hitting the details on Twitter. No matter, the scale of the visual cues can be well established, with the intention that it is essential to design an integrated Twitter experiment with another set of extensible data resources to rectify this problem. The problem is the processes by which you should wholeheartedly investigate all converted data because it has different data structures, transfer times, etc. This issue of address, the paper proposes a framework for evaluating the use of Twitter-based events and examines two types of data resources for the reliability of impact testing. Our framework uses the resultant of the request obtaining by various events and relevant to the articles on it. This paper has improved the cleaning test with the proposed process how the integrity estimation of twitter based event can be recognized with the help of group of analyzed data. The evaluation indicates that the proposed system provides visible high-level testing events and a variety of low-level testing events. © 2024 IEEE.
