We offer a specialized toolkit for automating both knowledge management when creating an applied microservices package and data accumulating during its application for scientific computations in a hybrid computing environment. The decentralized solving of the declaratively formulated problem is carried out by an active agent group. This group is self-organized by logical inference on the distributed knowledge base of a subject domain. The developed toolkit automates the creating and updating of the local knowledge base of the manager-agent of applied microservices package, as well as the local knowledge bases of distributed computational agents. Local knowledge bases are formed using a description of the interface of computational microservices managed by these agents. Microservice ensembles, corresponding to the active group, are stored in the knowledge base of the manager-agent. The developed toolkit uses this information for testing microservice in the case of its update. In hybrid computing, this toolkit provides synchronizing, archiving, and saving of calculated data. Hybrid infrastructure combines the reliability and availability of using on-premises computers with scaling to the cloud when peak loads occur. The paper considers the main ideas of proposed computational technology for scenario modeling and forecasting the development of the national fuel and energy complexes of Russia and Mongolia, regarding to the intercountry trade in fuel and energy resources. The proposing technology exploits the ideas of multi-agent systems (MASs) and agent-based simulation models (ABSMs) as they can act as unifying means for different types of decision-making methods by distributed objects. Methodological principles and architecture for ABSM of the national fuel and energy complexes of Russia and Mongolia were proposed. The implementation issues of the model in the Adskit software tool is discussed. The problem of laying routes of extended energy objects is also considered. Based on the principles of geometric optics the author's solution algorithm in the form of a special case of the variational problem was proposed to deal with this problem. The application of MAS and ABSM paradigms for forecasting and evaluating the state of the fuel and energy sector in Russia and Mongolia allows one to organize a step-by-step research of the energy system with the gradual development of the model: Increasing the types of objects and agents;improving decision-making algorithms, including those based on mathematical models;creating complex scenarios. The technology forms methodological basis for supporting decision-making process of evaluation the prospective variants of bilateral energy cooperation of Russia and Mongolia and related project effectiveness. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2020.

Facility disruptions or failures may occur due to natural disasters or a deliberate man-made attack. Such an attack is known as interdiction. Recently, facility location problems, addressing intentional strikes against operating facilities and strategies to reduce their impact, have received particular attention. In this paper, we present a new location-interdiction median problem aimed at designing a distribution network which is robust to the worst-case, long-term facility losses. We suppose that there are two players: defender (system designer) and attacker. The defender decides where to locate facilities to minimize the overall cost of supplying the demands of customers. The attacker determines which r facilities to interdict to maximize the cost of serving the customers from the remaining operational facilities. Note that we suppose that the facilities are attacked simultaneously and interdicted facilities become unavailable. We propose bilevel and single-level integer formulations of this problem. For a particular case when the attacker hits a single facility, we develop a fast local search procedure based on implicit enumeration of interdiction strategies. We test our approaches in a series of computational experiments on well-known test problems. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The paper describes the principles of the implementation of supervisors for discrete event systems, designed with the help of automatic theorem proving in the calculus of positively constructed formulas. The main advantage of the proposed approach is the ability to carry out complex evaluations of events on the base of the current state of the system. Computable predicates are also may be employed, definitions of which are based on the data coming from external sources. As an illustrative example a mobile robot movement in an unknown environment is considered.

Various compression algorithms use linear transforms to represent data vectors in different coordinate systems, where they can be compressed better. The matrices usually have oat coe cients, and the data vectors are integer, so some rounding is required. And to make the compression lossless it is required to make these transforms reversible, i.e. to be able to exactly restore the original vectors from the results of their transform. In this article we'll consider a straightforward algorithm for nding the decomposition of linear transform matrix and the approaches for estimation of the mean square approximation error and for nding the optimal decomposition, which minimizes the error. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. Efficient and autonomous execution of large-scale missions using a group of robots implies the use of an advanced control system, usually consisting of multiple subsystems arranged in a hierarchy. For the purpose of unification of interaction of separate subsystems, an event-based cooperative control framework for robot teams is developed. In the paper, we demonstrate how this framework can be used in solving challenging problems in robotics: path-following problem, real-time path-planning problem, group routing problem, and action-planning problem. A novel approach to formalization and analysis of logic discrete event systems, which are the main component of the framework, based on logic calculus and automatic theorem proving is also briefly described. © 2020, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The article offers the developed modifications of multiagent nature-inspired algorithms for finding the absolute extremum of multimodal objective functions. The proposed algorithms are based on hybridization with the quasi-Newton method for local descent at each iteration. Variants of genetic, biogeography, and particle swarm methods proposed by the authors are used for global search. We have performed the numerical comparison of implemented algorithms employing a representative set of multiextremal functions. The achieved research results confirm the efficiency of the proposed algorithms and the possibility of constructing computational schemes, which can be the foundation for effective methods for studying global search problems.

Hamiltonian formalism for Fermi excitations in a plasma with a non-Abelian interaction

The Hamiltonian theory for the collective longitudinally polarized colorless gluon excitations (plasmons) and for collective quark-antiquark excitations with abnormal relation between chirality and helicity (plasminos) in a high-temperature quark-gluon plasma (QGP) is developed. For this purpose, Zakharov’s formalism for constructing the wave theory in nonlinear media with dispersion is used. A generalization of the Poisson superbracket involving both commuting and anticommuting variables to the case of a continuous medium is performed and the corresponding Hamilton equations are presented. The canonical transformations including simultaneously both bosonic and fermionic degrees of freedom of the collective excitations in QGP are discussed and a complete system of the canonicity conditions for these transformations is written out. An explicit form of the effective fourth-order Hamiltonians describing the elastic scattering of plasmino off plasmino and plasmino off plasmon is found and the Boltzmann type kinetic equations describing the processes of elastic scattering are obtained. A detailed comparison of the effective amplitudes defined within the (pseudo)classical Hamiltonian theory, with the corresponding matrix elements calculated early in the framework of high-temperature quantum chromodynamics in the so-called hard thermal loop approximation is performed. This enables one to obtain, in particular, an explicit form of the vertex and coefficient functions in the effective amplitudes and in the canonical transformations, correspondingly, and also to define the validity of a purely pseudoclassical approach in the Hamiltonian description of the dynamics of a quark-gluon plasma. The problem of determining the higher-order coefficient functions in the canonical transformations of fermionic and bosonic normal variables is considered. The paper addresses the Network Roll-Out (NRO) problem aimed at scheduling the construction of mobile stations. In this case, NRO problem can be considered as a generalization of Resource-Constrained Project Scheduling Problem, where we need to find a schedule for the activities related to the construction of a set of base stations taking into account the precedence constraints and the availability of resources while minimizing some measure of performance. The generalization involves the multiple projects, multi-modes, discrete time-cost tradeoff, together with particular business requirements like precedence redundancy and workload stability constraints. To solve this problem, we propose a MIP formulation that is based on a generalization of Disaggregated Discrete-Time formulation with pulse start variables. Using this formulation, we propose a three-stage heuristic based on a relax and fix strategy. The effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed approach are illustrated in a series of computational experiments on real-life problem instances. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
