The paper considers a heuristic method for a global extremum search in an optimal control problem based on the idea of covering a reachable set by n-dimensional balls, including the built-in mechanisms for Lipschitz constant estimating of the objective functional. A step-by-step description of the coverage algorithm and the proposed method for generating start and auxiliary controls are presented. The proposed technique was used for solving applied optimal control problems: the problem of investment programs in Buryatia Republic and the problem of restoring the Black Lands in Kalmykia. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

An optimal control problem for a sweeping process driven by impulsive controls is considered. The control system we study is described by both a measure-driven differential equation and a differential inclusion. This system is the impulsive-trajectory relaxation of an ordinary control system with nonlinearity of hysteresis type, in which the hysteresis is modeled by the play operator and considered as a particular case of a nonconvex sweeping process. The concept of a sweeping process for the so-called graph completions of functions of bounded variation, defining the corresponding moving set, is developed. The space-time representation based on the singular space-time transformation and a method to obtain optimality conditions for impulsive processes are proposed. By way of motivation, an example from mathematical economics is considered. © Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2019.

Nowadays, the study of the behavior of social, economic, and technical queuing systems at different stages of their design and operation is a challenge for simulation modeling. The complexity of the dynamic structure of such systems is owing to a number of factors. Among them are a large number of system characteristics and relations between them, the existence of a large spectrum of distribution laws of random events, the need to collect and analyze current data on the system under study, and the presence of various constraints. Moreover, relations can be represented by functional, statistical, ambiguous, or other mappings. Unfortunately, simulation modeling tools are not widespread in designing and applying business processes, unlike other products of information and computation technologies (system of the office administration, warehouse management, etc.). In this regard, we present an approach to developing web-service for simulation modeling of queuing systems. Within the approach, we automate some stages of web-service development and use. To this end, we apply tools that support distributed computing with parameter variations in a heterogeneous environment, which includes virtualized resources. We provide a multi-agent management of computations. The practical use of the tools is shown on the example of developing a web-service for simulation modeling of a typical health and care institution. © 2021 for this paper by its authors. This article presents a package for analyzing the energy system vulnerability developed with new technology for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applied software. It implements a framework that allows combining and optimally using various methods for modelling energy systems and provides the comprehensive assessment of their vulnerability with regard to various uncertainties. The essential principles to identify and rank critical elements of an energy system are considered in the article. The investigations made with the package shown that the principles seem to be logical for the subsequent construction of the invariant set of measures for improving the energy system resilience. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences, 2020.

The paper addresses a relevant problem of predicting the runtime of jobs for executing problem-solving schemes of large-scale applications in a heterogeneous distributed computing environment. Such an environment includes nodes that have various hardware architectures, different system software, and diverse computational possibilities. We believe that increasing the accuracy in predicting the runtime of jobs can significantly improve the efficiency of problem-solving and rational use of resources in the heterogeneous environment. To this end, we propose new models that make it possible to take into account various estimations of the module runtime for all modules included in the problem-solving scheme. These models were developed using the special computational model of distributed applied software packages (large-scale scientific applications). In addition, we compare the prediction results (jobs runtime and their errors) using different estimations. Among them are the estimations obtained through the modules testing, user's estimations, and estimations based on computational history. These results were obtained in continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applied and system software of a package for solving warehouse logistics problems. They show that the largest accuracy is achieved by the modules testing. Copyright © 2020 for this paper by its authors. In this paper, we presented a Monte Carlo-based approach for vulnerability analyse of energy systems. For high-performance Monte Carlo simulation the PARMONC software library was used. The PARMONC is implemented on high-performance clusters of the Siberian Supercomputer Center. The PARMONC effectively launches parallel stochastic simulation on supercomputers with different architectures. The proposed approach was applied was applied for the identification and ranking the most important elements of a real-world natural gas supply system. © 2021 institute of Physics Publishing. The effect of axial meson exchange on extraction of proton electromagnetic form factors in ep scattering is calculated. Taking as an example f1(1285) meson exchange, it is quantitatively shown how it affects Rosenbluth and polarization transfer methods. The contribution of an axial meson is negligible in comparison with the traditional box-type two photon exchange and could not be responsible for difference of form factors extracted by different techniques. However, results support the idea that meson exchange could explain deviation of individual polarizations. © 2021, CC BY.

We present detailed analysis of the T-even lepton angular distribution in the Drell-Yan process including γ/Z0 gauge boson exchange and using perturbative QCD based on the collinear factorization scheme at leading order in the αs expansion. We focus on the study of the transverse momentum QT dependence of the corresponding hadronic structure functions and angular coefficients up to next-to-next-to-leading order in the Q2T/Q2 expansion. We analyze QT dependence numerically and compare T-even angular coefficients integrated over rapidity with available data of the ATLAS Collaboration at LHC. Additionally, we present our results for the forward-backward asymmetry and compare it with data. © 2024, CC BY.

To improve the efficiency of the use of remote sensing data in the tasks of managing territorial development, utility services have been implemented that allow us to catalog and simplify the use of methods for analysing remote sensing data as services. Services using reference vector techniques and neural networks of common Unet, FPN, Linknet and PSPNet architectures have been developed. Utility services allow for the regular and automatic processing of remote sensing data, including using scripts that link services and form a single processing process. The paper addresses the problem of supporting research of the Vietnam energy sector vulnerability. The vulnerability study is understood as search for system weak points. A mathematical model has been developed to describe the energy sector of Vietnam. The model takes into account the characteristics and constraints of all objects of the energy sector: suppliers, consumers and the transport system. To study the vulnerability of the energy sector and make decisions, we have created a workbench that allows simulating increased loads and calculating the consequences. Specification-based database application development technology was applied to create the workbench. This technology allows you to quickly develop applications that provide interaction with databases and digital maps, as well as support interaction with external software modules. The main advantage of the proposed workbench is its flexibility and applicability at all stages of the study of the Vietnam energy sector vulnerability starting from gathering the energy operation and development information and ending with evaluation of satisfying demand in energy. © 2020 for this paper by its authors.
