A distributed computing environment is being formed within the geoportal IDSTU SB RAS, which is mainly used for processing spatial data. Processing services that implement the WPS standard, and data storage services, a catalog of WPS services, and service execution systems and their compositions have been developed. In the system for executing services statistics data is collected on user-made service calls. The analysis of the obtained statistical data is carried out in order to identify the data transfer between services calls and build service compositions. The article discusses the problem of creating an interdisciplinary database to support research on the project "Baikal Siberia in the Stone Age: at the crossroads of worlds." The architecture of an integrated information system for supporting archaeological research for the formation of a database has been developed. The information system is deployed on two servers that solve separate tasks and is supported by a network storage system. The subsystems are developed using the technology of creating information systems based on the specifications of database applications. Specifications contain, in pure form, the minimum necessary information about database tables, their fields, relationships between them, and their use in the database application. This approach allows you to easily and quickly modernize the information system throughout the entire life cycle. The creation of databases and application specifications is based on the developed standards for geoarchaeological research. In addition, tools were developed to solve specific problems of archeology. For example, tools for creating separate portable subsystems for working in the excavation and publishing 3D models. © 2020 for this paper by its authors. Most commonly used clustering algorithms are those aimed at solving the well-known k-median problem. Their main advantage is that they are simple to implement and use, and they are flexible in choosing dissimilarity measures (not necessarily metrics). K-median algorithms are also known to be more robust to noise and outliers in comparison with k-means algorithms. In spite of that, they have been of limited use for large-scale clustering problems due to their high computational and space complexity. This work aims at computational comparison of k-median clustering algorithms in a specific large-scale setting—clustering large image collections. We implement distributed versions of the most common k-median clustering algorithms and compare them with our parallel heuristic for solving large-scale k-median problem instances. We analyze clustering results with respect to external evaluation measures and run time. © 2019, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The main objective of qualitative research is to analyze the behavior of the trajectories of a dynamic system to verify whether it corresponds to the set of constraints characterizing the property. We use an approach to study binary dynamic systems on a finite time interval based on the author's method of Boolean constraints. Based on this method, the Boolean model of the properties of a binary dynamic system is written in the language of Boolean equations or Boolean formulas with quantifiers. Thus, the verification of various dynamical properties is reduced to solving the problems of Boolean constraints satisfiability or the validity of a quantified Boolean formula using efficient SAT or TQBF solvers. The high computational complexity of these problems requires the development of software and tools for their parallel and distributed solving and ensuring transparent end-user access to high-performance computing environments based on a service-oriented approach. This paper represents the architecture and functionality of a new instrumental system that automates the creation of a distributed application for solving the considered class of problems based on the microservice approach and multi-agent technology. This paper reviews application of modern optimization methods for functionals describing Digital Pre-distortion (DPD) of signals with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) modulation. The considered family of model functionals is determined by the class of cascade Wiener–Hammerstein models, which can be represented as a computational graph consisting of various nonlinear blocks. To assess optimization methods with the best convergence depth and rate as a properties of this models family, we multilaterally consider modern techniques used in optimizing neural networks and numerous numerical methods used to optimize non-convex multimodal functions. The research emphasizes the most effective of the considered techniques and describes several useful observations about the model properties and optimization methods behavior. © 2021, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The complexity of exhaustive problems with the properties of large-scale, openness, unpredictable dynamics, and component mobility determines the relevance of developing microservice-oriented software for their solving in a hybrid computational environment. We propose an approach for adapting to this environment both the existing software and new ones developed using new automated technology for creating an applied microservice package and organizing control of computations in it. The distributed computational model is represented by a set of small, loosely coupled, replaceable, interacting with the use of lightweight communication mechanisms autonomous microservices that implement the functions of the program package modules. The decentralized management of the microservices interaction is carried out by a self-organizing multi-agent system, agents of which are delegated the rights to launch microservices. The paper discusses the models, methods, and software platform that form the basis of the proposed technology. We demonstrate the application of the applied microservice package, based on this technology, for solving the problems of qualitative analysis of binary dynamic system using the author's Boolean constraints method. The paper addresses the relevant problem of data preparation for testing modules of scientific applications. Such testing requires the multiple executions of modules with different parameters for various scenarios of solving problems in applications. Often, data sources for parameters used for problem-solving are subject data (experimental results, reports, statistical forms and other information resources) created earlier as a result of functioning various objects of a subject domain. Usually, such data are heterogeneous and weakly structured. The developer of scientific applications has to make additional efforts in extracting, cleaning, integrating, and formatting data in order to achieve the correctness and efficiency of their use in applications. The aim of the study is the development of a framework for automating the description of semi-structured data and their transformation into target structures used by scientific applications. We proposed a conceptual model that allows us to represent knowledge about the structure of the source data, determine their relations with the target structures and set the rules for data transformation. Additionally, we developed a framework prototype. It is integrated into the technological scheme of continuous integration for modules of scientific applications (distributed applied software packages) that are developed with the help of Orlando Tools. Mott dissociation and kaon to pion ratio in the EPNJL model

The behaviour of pseudoscalar mesons within the SU(3)PNJL-like models is considered for finite T and µB. We compare the pole approximation (Breit-Wigner) with the Beth-Uhlenbeck approach. We evaluate the K/π ratios along the phase transition line in the T-µB plane with constant and T/µB-dependent pion and strange quark chemical potentials. Using the model, we can show that the splitting of kaon and anti-kaon masses appears as a result of introduction of density and this explains the difference in the K+/π+ ratio and K−/π− ratio at low √sNN and their tendency to the same value at high √sNN. A sharp "horn" effect in the K+/π+ ratio is explained by the enhanced pion production which can be described by occurrence of a nonequilibrium pion chemical potential of the order of the pion mass. We elucidate that the horn effect is not related to the existence of a critical endpoint in the QCD phase diagram. © 2021, CC BY.

We discuss recent progress in the development of the three-fluid hydrodynamics-based program THESEUS towards an event generator suitable for applications to heavy-ion collisions at the intermediate energies of the planned NICA and FAIR experiments. We follow the strategy that modifications of particle distributions at the freeze-out surface in the QCD phase diagram may be mapped directly to the observable ones within a sudden freeze-out scheme. We report first results of these investigations for the production of light clusters (deuterons and tritons) which can be compared to experimental data from the HADES and the NA49 experiments and for the interpretation of the "horn" effect observed in the collision energy dependence of the K+/π+ ratio. Medium effects on light cluster production in the QCD phase diagram are negligible at the highest NICA energies but shall play a dominant role at the lowest energies. A sharp "horn"-type signal in the K+/π+ ratio can be obtained when the onset of Bose condensation modelled by a pion chemical potential results in an enhancement of pions at low momenta (which is seen at the LHC energies) and would occur already in the NICA energy range. © 2021 Jagellonian University. We suggest a new mechanism for the formation of true muonium (TM), the QED (µ+µ−) bound state, due to the Coulomb interaction of muons from µ+µ− pairs generated in the Drell-Yan reaction of protons off nuclei of a thin foil target. The TM atoms produced in the 3S1 long-lived triplet state (oTM) could escape from the foil to vacuum followed by their decay into e+e− pairs. Observation of e+e− events with a displaced vertex, and an invariant mass and decay time consistent with the mass and lifetime of the oTM is used as a signature of the discovery of TM. We present estimates of the TM yield and briefly discuss an experiment which could lead to such a discovery. © 2025, CC BY.
